"Recognition of traffic signs" is a mobile application, which is used for recognition of traffic signs. The relevance of this theme is proved with the fact that we don't have analogs of this program, which will help the drivers to see and recognize traffic signs and enables drivers to remember signs by the way. Also this program will be useful for those people, who want to learn traffic signs just putting the camera of their phones to a sign. The objective of this application is to make the learning process easier.

The problem of correspondence of the configurable information system to the domain seems to be important. There needs to be a database that will allow such system to deal with data with variable structure. The proposed concept of databases - SIDB - is aimed to exclude some shortcomings of existing databases. To mark up the features of SIDB different models are described in this paper.

A method for three-dimensional visualization of molecular biology processes modeled by chemical kinetic equations is presented. To implement this visualization, the software in C# and a database of three-dimensional forms that model molecular complexes are developed. The quantitative parameters in this visualization scheme are determined from kinetic equations governing the participating components, so our visualization is not only qualitative but also quantitative. As a case study, it was visualized a mathematical model for mitochondria-dependent apoptosis (programmed cell death) proposed by Bagci et all [19].

This paper introduces a methodology and a software framework intended to optimize and speed up the design process of a haptic interface or a rehabilitation system. Starting from an initial mechanical design the procedure allows to export the kinematic and dynamic properties of the robotic system in a simulation environment. The software receives as additional input the Cartesian or joints trajectories and generates as output the required torques at the joints. From the recorded measurements the program extracts the torque ranges necessary to choose a suitable actuation system for the robot. The possibility to run the simulation in batch modality allows also to define different optimization techniques that may be used to reduce the overall system weight or increase its payload.

This paper illustrates the experiences of Qafqaz University's development team gained over the year of work for in-house developed University Management Information System (UMIS). Since UMIS design and development is complex and long process that involves many areas of computer engineering and science, main emphasis has been made on database design practice which is primary aspect of success of the project. The course registration (enrollment) processes, which are integral part of any University Management Information System (UMIS), have been examined. Correct structural design of database is vital factor towards successful IS implementation. This gets more vital when it comes to course enrollment. As many other modules depend on this design stage and any irregularity here will directly affect other dependent modules. In this paper only tables that are closely related to course registration process are discussed. These include tables to hold definition of courses, degree program structures, program elective groups, course sections, students' enrolled courses and course equivalency references.

The article deals with the peculiarities of Internet portals, blogs and websites short messages texts authorship determination. The article focuses on possibility to search people who have several different accounts and send messages from them. Sentences dependence on the number of words in portals users' comments is represented. The model of Internet portal text message is provided. Method of Internet portals users' short messages texts authorship identification based on the naive Bayesian classifier is represented. The specific feature of the proposed method is not only frequency dictionary analysis based on messages selection to identify users, but their usage of rules and connections on the base of language syntactic information. The parts of speech frequency and connection frequency between parts of speech are given. The communication graph of parts of speech connections of limited natural language in commentaries is represented. Linguistic characteristics used to identify portal user are given. Structures are distinguished on the base of the communication graph between parts of speech as regards noun prepositional casal form of limited natural language used to identify text authorship. The experiment showing achievable indicators of Internet portal user identification probability depending on training sample is carried out. Probability diagrams of authorship identification based on selected characteristics are represented.

In this paper we present a framework for extraction of inference rules from Turkish documents, such as "A solved B ~ A found a solution to B". Many natural language processing tasks, such as question answering, information retrieval and machine translation can benefit tremendously from inference rules. Our framework consists of three layers: construction of dependency trees; determining predicates and their complements and finally discovery of inference rules via clustering. We use Silhouette Index (SI) of the clusters as an automatic evaluation metric.

Proposed life cycle model that allows to integrate all phases of building configurable information system (CoIS) and reduce development time, complexity and cost. The main idea of the model is to integrate the phases of life cycle by a formal description of each stage, the development of formal methods of transition from the results of one phase to another and create an integrated information environment, containing a description of the system at all levels and stages of detail system. We consider the principles of integration and their implementation at all stages of the life cycle of the example of the functional aspect of building integrated circuits.

Evaluation plays a crucial role in the field of machine translation. The aim of our research was to assess the quality - reliability and validity - of automatic evaluation of machine translation, and in our case an on-line statistical machine translation system was used. The results of the reliability analysis showed that the chosen metrics of automatic evaluation are reliable and valid, whereby the validity and reliability were verified for the following language pairs: Slovak-English and Slovak-German.

With the advent of community portals and video sharing websites, production and consumption of multimedia content has increased tremendously. It is because of excellent video recording capabilities of cameras available with mobile devices, and enhanced data rates offered by cellular networks, that the uploading of high quality multimedia content is more realistic. Nowadays most of the video traffic is HTTP-based, that provides rate adaptive streaming, known as Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH). In this work we generate DASH video streams that can be supported on LTE uplink and then assign resources to the video producers such that the QoE of on-demand viewers is maximized.
