: the article presents the solution to the problem of calculating the lateral buckling of wooden beams with a narrow rectangular section, taking into account intermediate point fixing in the edge stretched from the bending moment. The structure is considered as an orthotropic plate, the calculation is performed by the finite element method (FEM). To obtain a result that is valid for any beam geometry, the system of FEM equations is re-duced to a dimensionless form. The dimensionless parameter that determines the value of the critical load is calcu-lated based on the solution of the generalized eigenvalue problem. The numerical calculation algorithm is imple-mented in the MATLAB environment. The developed technique is verified by comparison with calculations in the LIRA and ANSYS software systems using flat and volumetric finite elements. A comparison is also made with the calculation formula presented in the Russian design standards for wooden structures SP 64.13330.2017 for the coefficient, taking into account intermediate fixing, with pure bending. It has been established that this dependence rather roughly takes into account the fastening from the bending plane of the edge stretched from the bending moment. Using the package Curve Fitting Toolbox of the MATLAB environment, we have selected refined formula for the coefficient, which can be used in engineering calculations.

: с arbide materials are widely used in various industries. However, due to the limited world reserves of tungsten and cobalt, as well as the accumulation of hard-to-process waste of solid carbide materials, the question arises about alternative sources of raw materials. So a large amount of waste is generated by the manufacturing industry. The main methods of processing require a significant consumption of reagents and energy, are distinguished by the toxicity and aggressiveness of working media, and a variety of special equipment. Electrochemical methods make it possible to significantly simplify the technological scheme and hardware design of the process, reduce the duration of recycling waste and improve environmental performance. The paper presents a technique for the disposal of carbide tools by the electrochemical method. Comparison of the compositions of electrolytes and current sources is carried out. Under comparable conditions, the highest current efficiency during oxidation of WC/Co alloys is achieved in nitric acid electrolytes. However, when using nitric and hydrochloric acids, harmful substances are released during electrolysis. Further experiments were carried out using sulfuric acid. The optimal reducing agent has been determined - hexamethylenetetramine. Powders of anode sludge were obtained, which were investigated by thermal analysis and energy dispersive methods. The chemical composition of the sludge has been established, which is defined as 20% oxide and 80% tungsten carbide.

: the design of high-rise complexes includes the solution of a multifactorial problem, consisting of: survey work (geodesic development; tracing work; marking and survey work; engineering-geological, hydrogeo-logical, hydrological), functional operational, as well as the reliability of the structure, the prospects for its further reconstruction, economic feasibility of construction, selection of structural components of the object, etc. The pur-pose of this work is theoretical and experimental research in the design and construction of facilities, including alternative methods for measuring the angle of deviation from the vertical frame of a structure (during the frame erection of structures). To determine the deviation of columns from verticality, an alternative method is proposed for "indirect measurements of the angle" of the deviation of the column, as well as the distance from the theodolite (total station) to the plane of the standard. Geometric schemes for determining the linear angle of deviation of a column from verticality and the installation of a theodolite (tacheometer) for recording deviations of columns perpendicular to the sides of the structure are presented. The technique of carrying out experimental researches is described and the received graphic dependences are re-sulted. The performed surveys and calculations make it possible to determine the deviations of the columns from the vertical by means of angular measurements from the ground.
