Handling Imprecise Information in Emergency Psychiatric Care 在紧急精神病学护理中处理不准确的信息

Decision analytical methods have been utilized and demonstrated to be of use for a broad range of applications in medical contexts, from regular diagnostic strategies and treatment to the evaluation of diagnostic tests and prediction models and benefit-risk assessments. However, a number of issues still remain to be clarified, for instance ease of use, realism of the input data, long-term outcomes and integration into routine clinical work. In particular, it is questionable whether clinicians are capable of providing the specific and high-quality input data that many of the prevailing methods require, since there is very often a lack of complete and precise background information. This is not least the case within psychiatric emergency care where the information available often is of a highly qualitative nature, but there is nevertheless a need for deliberate decisions. This article demonstrates, using a fictive but perfectly realistic case, show a decision support system can be useful in recommending courses of action within psychiatric emergency situations requiring rapid decisions despite a lack of complete and precise information.

A Scalable Virtual Try-on System based on Cloud Computing 基于云计算的可扩展虚拟试机系统

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, smart devices and smart tools are becoming prevalent. This paper mentions a new technology benefiting the apparel retail industry. In particular, online shopping has developed tremendously for the last decade, especially during Covid-19 pandemic. Numerous fashion and apparel companies are leveraging online channels to boost their sales. However, product fitting (unable to try clothes online) is one of the major challenges that sellers and buyers face in online shopping. Virtual try-on technology has been introduced to tackle this problem. The technology allows shoppers to try garment, jewelry, eyewear, etc on a 3D avatar without wearing these products physically. However, the virtual try-on technology meets some challenges, such as managing a huge amount of data of the 3D model; equipping specialized hardware and securing the privacy of user’s biometric data. To address these problems while still ensuring an affordable price as well as the ease of use for customers, a centralized processing system model on cloud computing services is applied. This paper firstly indicates the challenges of deploying cloud systems for virtual try-on solutions, then proposes a well-architecture using a centralized processing system model.
