A review on soccer player tracking techniques based on extracted features
Afnan Al-Ali, S. Al-Maadeed
Playing games specially soccer is one of the most likable activities which performed by a large mass base in most countries. All the broadcasted videos of these games are taken as an extensive challenging by researchers in computer vision field. The topics which get the big chance of importance in industry are the tracking of both player and field. This can be used to describe the match for people who are visually impaired. In this review, we summarize some of the recent researcher's work related to different player tracking techniques according to specific features extracted from the scene to build a robust object (player and/or ball) tracking, such as motion, color, edges, etc., which considered as the most commonly used in object tracking. Also, we compare some of these techniques according to two groups of publicly available data sets in order to study the effect of selecting these features on the tracking accuracy.

Toward sign language handshapes recognition using Myo armband
A. H. Amor, Oussama El Ghoul, M. Jemni
According to the World Federation of Deaf [1], there are about 70 million deaf people who use sign language as their first language. Despite the fact that sign languages represent the main way of communication for the 1% of the world population, they are still used by a minority of hearing people. No one can ignore the obvious barrier of the communication between deaf and hearing people. In this context, our project contributes to improving the accessibility of the deaf. Indeed, this work is a contribution in a new field of sign language's recognition through EMG signals. This article presents the first step started by the research laboratory LaTICE (www.latice.rnu.tn) to evaluates the usage EMG electromyogram signals provided by the sensors of Myo armband, in order to facilitate the communication between hearing and deaf people, and therefore enrich the library of gestures recognized by this device. In this paper, we will be focusing on extracting characteristics of the raw electromyographic signals obtained from the Myo armband to classify some hand-shapes of the language's alphabet, based on a supervised automatic learning approach.

Examining the effectiveness of using online activities in learning english vocabulary
Musabah Said Musabah Al Buraiki, Dawood Al-Hamdani
The study aims to examine the effectiveness of online activities on the performance of the vocabulary test. Forty seven students studying in intact classrooms participated in the study: twenty four in the experimental group and twenty three in the control group. An independent t-test was administered to compare between the two groups. The finding indicated that the experimental group obtained higher marks in the vocabulary post-test (M=4.2, SD=1.98) than the control group (M=2.84, SD=1.6) and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (p=.014). Furthermore, a paired samples t-test was conducted for the experimental group and the findings suggested that on average participants in this group performed significantly greater in the post-test (Mean=4.18, SD= 1.99) than in the pre-test (Mean= 1.4, SD=1.13), p<.001. These findings showed that using supplementary online activities had improved vocabulary acquisition for EFL learners.
