On the analytical calculation of eddy-current losses in permanent magnets of electrical machines 电机永磁体涡流损耗的解析计算

Eddy-current losses in permanent magnets of a surface-mounted permanent-magnet synchronous machine (SPMSM) are analytically calculated by solving magnetostatic and magnetodynamic field problems. The magnetostatic solution neglects the eddy-current reaction fields and depicts a large deviation compared to a Finite Element Analysis (FEA). A correction factor introduced into the magnetostatic calculation does not provide sufficient accuracy at high frequencies. The magnetodynamic calculation, which takes the eddy-current reaction fields into account, achieves a good agreement with a Finite Element Analysis.

Sanitary Ceramic Surface Defect Detection Method Based on Neighborhood Pixel Gray Information 基于邻域像素灰度信息的卫生陶瓷表面缺陷检测方法

Computer image processing technology has been widely used in ceramic product defect detection. However, there are few studies on automatic defect detection methods for ceramic products with complex surface geometry, such as ceramic wash basins. The main difficulty is that this type of sanitary ceramic product has a complex surface, strong light reflection, and very little texture information. It is hard to find a perfect illumination to make the defects obvious. In view of the above problems, this paper proposes a defect detection method based on the neighborhood pixel gray threshold, and conducts defect detection tests on the imaging results of ceramic wash basins with cracks on the surface under general light conditions, and obtains good results.

Influence of Optimisation Target Functions on Synchronous Reluctance Machines Design 优化目标函数对同步磁阻电机设计的影响

Synchronous reluctance machines (SynRel) are becoming very attractive for different applications because of their reluctance nature, easy manufacturability and low cost. Their design still represents a challange because of the many degrees of freedom that their rotor structure presents. Furthermore, in order to obtain a design with defined electromagnetic characteristics and low torque ripple machine geometry is needed to be optimised. In this paper, three different optimisations are performed on 6 poles SynRel motor with three flux barriers per pole. The aim of the work is to show the effect of the objective selection on the optimization process. An automatic procedure has been applied coupling finite element analysis with an optimization algorithm that is working towards the competitive targets of maximazing the torque, while minimizing the torque ripple and losses. The effects of these objectives on the geometrical variables are investigated in detail. The outcome of the analysis show how the problem definition heavily affects the obtained results. This gives useful insights on how to approach SynRel rotor design.

A Scheme to Improve the Stability and Accuracy of Power Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation 一种提高电力半实物在环仿真稳定性和精度的方案

Power hardware-in-the-loop (PHIL) is a state-of-the-art simulation technique that combines real-time digital simulation and hardware experiments into a closed-loop testing environment. The transportation delay or communication latency impacts the stability and accuracy of PHIL simulations. In this paper, for the purpose of synchronizing the PHIL out-put signal and promoting both the stability and accuracy of PHIL simulation, a hybrid compensation scheme is proposed to compensate for the time delay in the PHIL configuration. A model-based compensator is implemented to shift the time delay out of the PHIL closed-loop to enhance PHIL stability. A time delay compensation model and its equivalent inverse model are employed in the PHIL closed-loop to compensate for the time delay. A phase lead compensator and digital linear-phase frequency sampling filter (FSF) are candidate compensation models to compensate for the time delay and reshape the phase curve on a harmonic-by-harmonic basis. Simulations are made to validate the effectiveness of the compensation scheme.

The Bifurcated Detection using the Sensing Coil for Parallel-Parallel Compensation in IPT System IPT系统并联补偿中传感线圈的分岔检测

The bifurcation phenomenon is the usually found in inductive power transfer system (IPT). The coupling and load on secondary side that induce the bifurcation cannot could not be directly measured. This paper presents the bifurcated detection by using the sensing coil. The sensing coil is placed on the secondary side. The phase of the sensing coil voltage is compared with the phase of secondary voltage to indicate the bifurcation. The frequency responses show that the phase difference between sensing coil voltage and secondary voltage is decreased when increased the secondary quality factor. The experimental results revealed that the bifurcation was detected from the secondary side in both perfect alignment and misalignment condition. By using the proposed circuit, the bifurcation detection from the secondary side is possible.

Camera Intrinsic Invariance of Image Jacobian in 4 DOF Image Based Visual Servo 基于视觉伺服的四自由度图像雅可比矩阵的相机固有不变性

In the image based visual servo, image Jacobian is vital to the system performance because it is the bridge that warps the velocity in feature space to camera velocity in Cartesian space. However, image Jacobian is sensitive to the camera intrinsic parameters, while the camera intrinsic parameter calibration error is almost unavoidable, which heavily affects the image Jacobian and visual servo process. In this paper, we find the camera intrinsic parameter invariance of the image Jacobian in our 4 DOF visual servo system. The image Jacobian of some geometry features is invariant to the camera intrinsic parameters, indicating that the disturbance in camera intrinsic parameters will not affect the convergence trajectory of those features. To further analyse camera intrinsic invariance, we proposed camera intrinsic parameter Jacobian of Image Jacobian, which can fully describe the camera intrinsic parameter invariance of the image Jacobian. The work in this paper can be used to analyse the system sensitivity to the camera intrinsic parameters. The camera intrinsic invariance is also significant for choosing the visual servo features when designing the visual servo system.

Comparative Analysis of Peer-to-Peer Transactive Energy Market Clearing Algorithms 点对点交易能源市场结算算法的比较分析

In the way to the green energy economy, the Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Transactive Energy market platform, where energy prosumers and consumers effectively trade electrical energy between one another, has significantly developed over the last years. To make the Transactive Energy (TE) market economically appealing for both the energy buyers and sellers, we need to ensure that a right auction model is used for one’s purpose. In this study, we attempt to compare existing auction-based market clearing approaches by means of greedy and dynamic programming algorithms. The case study of non-fractional trading of 4 sellers and 12 buyers is presented to illustrate the difference in benefit of an auction utilization under existing matching algorithms. The assessment is performed by the existing market performance indices.

A Parallel Inverse-Model-Based Iterative Learning Control Method for a Master-Slave Wafer Scanner 基于并行逆模型的主从式晶圆扫描器迭代学习控制方法

Tracking and synchronization accuracies are key performance indicators for advanced wafer scanners. In this paper, we propose a new Parallel Inverse-Model-based Iterative Learning Control (PIMILC) method in which the tracking and synchronization accuracies of the master-slave wafer scanners are jointly considered. In PIMILC, a parallel ILC structure is adopted and the tracking error of the wafer stage filtered by a compensation filter is fed into the reticle stage to decouple the learning system. Furthermore, an inverse-model-based learning law with robustness enhancement techniques is used to trade-off among robustness, accuracy and convergence rate. Simulation results confirm that the PIMILC method can significantly reduce the tracking and synchronization errors compared to prior work.

Disturbance Observer based Controller Design to Reduce Sensor Count in Standalone PVDG Systems 基于干扰观测器的控制器设计减少了独立PVDG系统中传感器数量

Standalone photovoltaic distributed generation (PVDG) systems have found their way into many popular off-grid applications like deserts, military and rural development. Generation of power at the consumption site and supplying power in DC make these systems more efficient due to minimization of losses during transmission and conversion. But, these systems suffer from lower inertia and this factor added with uncertainties in power generation and load consumption, greatly affects system stability. Nonlinear control techniques like backstepping although effective, are expensive to implement since they are model-based and demand information from many sophisticated sensors. In this paper, a disturbance observer based on back-stepping control strategy is proposed for grid voltage control and MPPT of an isolated PVDG system with storage consisting of PV array, battery and load. The effects of irradiation and temperature on PV arrays, the variations in loads and battery voltage are modeled in the form of disturbances. Instead of measuring these entities with sensors, the update laws designed in this paper based on Lyapunov stability theory estimate their values which are further utilized for effective control during intermittencies. It can be seen from the MATLAB simulation results that adoption of this technique contributes towards faster and cheaper control of the PVDG system for a greater range of operating conditions.

Partial Power Processing Multi-Port DC-DC Converters 部分功率处理多端口DC-DC转换器

With the favorable merit of handling only a fraction of system power, partial power processing (PPP) converter gains increasing attention in the engineering application with high requirement on power density and efficiency. However, most studies focus on the PPP two-port dc-dc converters, while how to derive PPP multi-port converters is still kept unclear. Hence, this paper aims to explore the principle of PPP multi-port dc-dc converters, and consequently, a family of viable PPP multi-port configurations is derived. In order to achieve a better understanding, PPP three-port converter with three isolated modules is firstly presented and introduced in detail, which has three possible configurations. The voltage relationship among three ports are more flexible than the PPP two-port converter that step-up/down voltage gain can be inherently attained. Moreover, two isolated modules can be further integrated into a hybrid one, so that components are able to be more reduced. By employing typical fully/partially isolated three-port converters such as triple active bridge converter to the proposed configurations, the corresponding PPP three-port converters are simply obtained. Finally, with the increasing number of ports, the configuration and characteristics of PPP multi-port converter will be more diverse. As an example, PPP four-port as well as five-port configurations are shown in the paper.
