Identification of Water Resource Potential Zones of Baghmundi Block in Purulia District, West Bengal 西孟加拉邦普鲁利亚县 Baghmundi 区水资源潜力区的确定

Remote sensing and GIS techniques have been broadly used to determine the water resource potentiality for the development and management of water resources. It is an important natural resource in our daily life and is used for domestic purposes. It’s amount varies from place to place and season to season. It is scarce during the dry season, but in the rainy season, it is plenty. Assessment of water resource potentiality is very important for the management of surface/groundwater resources. Water resource potential zones are delineated with the help of RS & GIS. In this paper, standard methodology has been used to delineate the water resource potential zones using Rs & GIS techniques. Different parameters have been considered for identifying the water resource such as drainage frequency, drainage density, geology, groundwater level, slope, soil, surface water bodies, and land use/land cover have been generated satellite data and Survey of India (SoI) toposheet of a scale 1:50,000. Suitable ranks are assigned to these parameters. Various thematic maps of each parameter have been prepared by using the 'Ordered Weighted Averaging' technique. Finally, the composite map is generated by assigning all the parameters to demarcate the water resource potential zones. The study area has been classified into five categories: very poor, poor, moderate, good and excellent. This suggested methodology has been used to achieve the goal of the objective of the study area. This paper will be helpful for the identification of suitable locations for agriculture and domestic use of surface and underground water resources.

Application of VSM as a Lean Tool in a Healthcare Facility 将 VSM 作为精益工具在医疗机构中的应用

The healthcare industry can be termed as one of the most important sectors of the economy. Healthcare industries are trying to adopt lean management principles in order to maintain quality service to patients, optimize workflow, and eliminate waste. Among the lean management tools, value stream mapping (VSM) is a key tool that uses a flowchart to depict, analyze, and improve the actions involved in the system. The aim of the study is to model the system through value stream mapping to identify wastes and non-value-adding activities in the processes so that the system can get rid of bottlenecks, constraints, and wastes. Sylhet Women’s Medical College Hospital is chosen to conduct the study. The necessary data are collected by interviewing employees and patients at outdoor and indoor departments, as well as by direct observation and going through previous records. eVSM software is used for creating current and future value stream maps. The total waiting time, processing time, and lead time of the processes of outdoor departments and diagnostic centers of the hospital are measured and improved over the existing system in the proposed model of the value stream map. Although the proposed model cannot be implemented, it is clear from this study that VSM can ensure smooth healthcare service and enhance performance.

Emerging Trends of web Mining Through Cloud Mining (Bitcoin) in Business Companies 商业公司通过云挖矿(比特币)进行网络挖矿的新趋势

In this paper we show research about how to mine valuable knowledge on the web mining through cloud mining in business companies and comparison about web mine. This paper illustrates the recent, previous, and upcoming web mining by cloud mining. Now we initiate real-time data set for recovery facts on the network i.e., web content mining, and the detection of client approach relationships from cloud servers, i.e., web management mining that enhance the web mining problems. Moreover, we similarly illustrated web mining through cloud mining in business companies. Cloud mining is an upcoming Web Mining. That is the main benefit of the company looking after all the usual mining problems. Cloud mining decreases the costs correlated with running a mining rig. Cloud mining is a procedure to mine cryptocurrency like bitcoin, by leased cloud computing operate without connecting or promptly governing the hardware and associated software. The initial processor that has observed a result to the problem catches the succeeding Bitcoin block, and the procedure remains. Bitcoin mining needs advanced hardware to explain difficult calculations and arithmetic challenges. In this paper we have discussed to work and is beneficial for business companies. We have proposed a structure for a cloud mining service. These services are supported by business model and strategy, hardware procurement and setup, user interface and dashboard and customer support and education etc. Cloud mining service deals are often tricks, or rip-offs. Cloud mining suppliers and companies benefit by leasing away their hardware in replace for funds. Trading mining hardware seems like a prospect’s agreement for saving ruses.

Custom Convolution Neural Network for Breast Cancer Detection 用于乳腺癌检测的定制卷积神经网络

Breast cancer remains a serious global health issue. Leveraging the use of deep learning techniques, this study presents a custom Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) framework for the detection of breast cancer. With the specific objective of accurate classification of breast cancer, a framework is made to analyze high-dimensional medical image information. The CNN's architecture, which consists of specifically developed layers and activation components tailored for the categorization of breast cancer, is described in detail. Utilizing the BreakHis dataset, which comprises biopsy slide images of patients in a range of cancer stages, the model is trained and verified. Comparing our findings to conventional techniques, we find notable gains in sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy. Gray-Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM) features extracted from the BreakHis dataset was used to analyze the performance on sequential neural network, transfer learning and machine learning models. After analysis, we have proposed hybrid models of CNN-SVM, CNN-KNN, CNN-Logistic regression and achieved accuracy of about 95.2%.

Dynamic Investigations of Grid Connected Fixed-Speed Wind Turbine During Grid Faults 电网故障期间并网定速风力涡轮机的动态研究

Especially during grid faults, grid code requirements for wind power integration have become a key element in improving grid efficiency and reliability. Under severe problems for network operation, wind turbines are expected to continue operating and supporting the grid during frequency restoration. This paper presents simulation results of a fixed-speed grid-connected wind turbine under various short-circuit current contributions. Fault analysis is carried out by studying the grid side line to ground fault, double line fault, double line to ground fault, and three phase fault involving ground and without ground. The obtained current waveforms are analyzed to explain the behavior, such as the rate of decay and peak values. Variations of active and reactive power during post-fault conditions and faulty conditions are investigated. Moreover, recommendations for switchgear and protection equipment are performed.

Characterization of Diatomite for Its use in Construction: Case Diatomite Sampled in Northern Chad 硅藻土在建筑中的应用:乍得北部硅藻土取样的案例

The need for energy for the purpose of thermal comfort in buildings is constantly growing. To minimize this need, we can improve the performance of the building envelope, which is the seat of several thermal stresses, which encourages us to develop, apart from renewable or alternative energies, construction materials for buildings capable of storing energy. For this, the integration of innovative passive materials in the building envelope makes it possible to reduce energy consumption and ensure thermal comfort in countries with a very hot climate such as the desert zone of Chad. We were thus interested in the characterization of diatomite which is used to build a good majority of dwellings in the Lake Chad, Kanem and BET regions. To this end, samples of diatomite used in the construction were taken from Faya, the capital of the far north of Chad, on which we carried out mineralogical analyzes as well as thermal and mechanical characterization. Observations at the SEM, analyzes by fluorescence of rays X and Diffractograms clearly confirm pure diatomite. Furthermore, the results of the various thermo-physical and mechanical tests presented a material which has a low mechanical resistance but a good thermal resistance. Therefore, the diatomite which has been the subject of this study has no negative effect on the environment, it is an excellent thermal insulation material capable of storing thermal energy in buildings.

To this end, samples of diatomite used in the construction were taken from Faya, the capital of the far north of Chad, on which we carried out mineralogical analyzes as well as thermal and mechanical characterization. Observations at the SEM, analyzes by fluorescence of rays X and Diffractograms clearly confirm pure diatomite. Furthermore, the results of the various thermo-physical and mechanical tests presented a material which has a low mechanical resistance but a good thermal resistance. Interval Type - 2 Fuzzy Logic Controller Based Shunt Active Power Filter for Power Quality Enhencement 基于区间2型模糊控制器的并联有源电力滤波器的电能质量增强

Frequent wide spread of power electronics equipment to consumers have led to power quality problem in power system network, as a result to their nonlinear in nature. Due to this problem, current and voltage wave forms are no longer sinusoidal, which resulted in harmonics on them. Various methods have been deployed in order to mitigate the harmonic issues, like passive power filters and shunt active power filters. Presently, passive power filters are limited in used, because of its demerits as it produced parallel resonances, heavy in size and mitigate few harmonics. With the advancement in technology, shunt active power filters have become superior to passive power filters due to its limitations. Shunt active power filters was tested for suppressing harmonics produced by nonlinear loads. This article, used synchronous reference frame (SRF) in generating harmonic produced by nonlinear loads. However, T2FLC is utilized in controlling the DC bus voltage of the filter constant. Hysteresis current controller was introduced for firing the gating signal of the IGBT inverter circuit. MATLAB software was deployed in the simulation work. Results obtained have satisfied the tolerable 2014 revised harmonics limit.

Reliability Comparison of Rural & Urban LVDS Networks with Corresponding HVDS Networks Including Substation Reliability 农村电网可靠性比较城市LVDS网络与相应的HVDS网络,包括变电站的可靠性

This paper mainly determines the comparison of reliability of an existing rural area & urban area LVDS (low voltage distribution system) with their respective proposed high voltage distribution system (HVDS) and also including their 33/11 kV Substation. Ring main substation and single bus bar substation configuration are considered for urban and rural distribution systems respectively. The reliability of ring bus substation used in urban area is more as compared to single bus substation used in rural area. The load point reliability indices are calculated considering both substation reliability indices and radial feeder indices. The substation failure rate is calculated by considering overlapping outages approach and whereas the radial feeder indices are calculated by using cut set approach. Further, the LVDS Network is converted into the HVDS Network by replacing a high rating distribution transformer (DTR) supplying to a group of customers with Large in number with multiple small rating distribution transformers near to consumer terminals with less number of customers in each group. This conversion leads to Minimum length of LT Lines in HVDS Which results in improving voltage profile, reliability and efficiency. In this paper the disconnecting switches and alternative supply are also considered on both LVDS and HVDS Networks in the calculation of the reliability of to assess the reliability of the radial distribution system (FMEA)Failure mode effect analysis is used. This study uses a LVDS and HVDS system, and uses an alternative power source and disconnectors, to determine reliability indices of the rural area network and urban area network distribution system. In this paper the important distribution reliability indices to reduce system average interruption durations (SAIDI), Energy Not Supplied (ENS) and ASAI for LVDS and corresponding HVDS are calculated. The research idea is proposed on a Indian practical networks.

The purpose of this review article is to address the existing knowledge gap by presenting an extensive overview of the diverse uses of digital technology (DT) in the fields of construction and civil engineering. Additionally, it seeks to demonstrate how DT can effectively mitigate the challenges faced by the sector. A comprehensive review is conducted by collating insights from recent research papers across the globe and providing a holistic, time-efficient, and tailored understanding of the Digital Twin Technology in Civil Engineering and Construction. The review spanned critical areas including infrastructure construction, structural health monitoring, energy efficiency in buildings, seismic evaluation of buildings, safety of heritage buildings, and the diverse applications of digital twins in construction design, monitoring and management. This study acts as a thorough guide for experts, providing them with a consolidated source of knowledge. With the construction industry's complicated difficulties, understanding how digital twins might provide solutions is crucial. Professionals can use this technology to assure not only efficiency but also sustainability, which is becoming increasingly important in today's environment.

Information Categorization for Canopy Mapping using Quality Control (QC) Tool – Affinity Diagram (KJ Method) 基于质量控制工具-关联图(KJ法)的冠层制图信息分类

Canopy mapping involves the process of accurately delineating and assessing the distribution and extent of green spaces, trees, and vegetation within a designated area. Understanding the canopy's characteristics holds paramount importance, as it plays a critical role in supporting biodiversity, regulating microclimates, and mitigating the adverse impacts of urbanization on the environment. This research paper focuses on exploring the practical application of the KJ method and collaborative brainstorming to gather and organize relevant information for canopy mapping. The study engaged six undergraduate students, under the guidance of a faculty member specialized in geoinformatics, in a productive brainstorming session, generating twenty-one diverse ideas related to canopy mapping. Through a methodical process of iterative refinement and consensus-building, the students effectively grouped these ideas into four distinct categories: "Data Sources," "Canopy Estimation Process," "Canopy Map Development," and "Accuracy Assessment." The resulting Affinity Diagram served as a clear and well-structured representation of the research paper's key aspects, harnessing the collective intelligence of the team to organize complex information and facilitate the precise mapping of tree canopies. This collaborative approach proved instrumental in enhancing the project's efficiency and effectiveness, promoting a cooperative environment that fosters innovation and informed decision-making.
