In the present world, many types of research are going in the field of construction. As concrete is one of the important construction materials, many researches are going on in concrete. There are many different types of researches going around the world. The nature of the concrete is that the concrete is good in compression and weak in tension. In this research, a study is done on increasing the tensile strength of concrete to counteract the tension coming on a concrete member. To achieve an increased tensile strength of concrete jute yarn is added in the concrete mix with length 20mm, as jute yarn possess good tensile properties. As the production of jute yarn is very abundant in countries like India and Bangladesh. And to increase the compressive strength of concrete, stone quarry dust is added in concrete as a replacement of fine aggregate in the percentages as 10%, 20%, 30%, and 40%. The optimum percentage of stone quarry dust is taken, where it shows the maximum strength, and also the optimum percentage of jute yarn is taken. Taking the optimum dosages of both the elements concrete cubes, beams, and cylinders are casted. Later all the tests of the concrete species are done such as compression test, split tensile test, and flexural test. The casting of cubes, beams, and cylinders was done by different percentages of stone quarry dust. After castings with different percentages of stone quarry dust the optimum percentage of stone quarry dust is obtained. The optimum dosage of jute yarn was also obtained similarly. After obtaining the optimum percentage of both the materials the cubes, beams, and cylinders were casted by adding both the materials in the concrete mix. Then the final results were obtained. The addition of stone quarry dust and jute yarn showed a good impact on the strength characteristics of concrete.

The usage of diesel Engine day by day extended considering their low fuel use and high efficiencies. A few endeavors were made for search of elective fuels due to extended natural contamination and exhaustion of conventional nonsustainable energy sources and prevailing in the improvement of Biodiesel as an elective fuel. An endeavor was made on Direct Injection Compression Ignition (DI-CI) engine using Pupae oil methyl ester blended in with diesel in various degrees to consider the engine performance and emission (outflow) at different injection pressures. The tests were led at consistent load at various injection pressures (200, 220, 240, 260 and 280 bar). In the current work performance qualities like Brake thermal efficiency (BTE), Brake Specific fuel consumption (BSFC), exhaust gas temperature (EGT) and outflow attributes like carbon monoxide (CO), oxides of nitrogen (NOX), unburnt hydrocarbon (UHC) and smoke opacity had been researched. From the outcomes it is seen that 260 bar injection pressure causes better execution and improved emission qualities, for all the fuel blends.

Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) actuators are capable of obtaining mechanical motion on a very small scale due to the design, materials and fabrication. A bi metallic micro actuator is also one of MEMS device that can perform physical functions at micron meter scale. A bi metallic micro actuator based on thermal sensing is capable of making small displacements due to resultant heating at the end. Because of different thermal expansion coefficients of the bonded strip materials, the actuator undergoes bending and the resultant deformation is a measure of the micro motion. During bending, the stresses generated may cause the beam to undergo staring or deformation. In the present work, MEMS actuator in which a bi metallic strip made up of Silicon dioxide and silicon layers bonded together is modeled and simulated using Finite Element Method for finding the total deformation, stresses and strain. The results are validated with theoretical results and are in good agreement.

Data mining methods can be very useful to add to the Intrusion Detection System(IDS) to identify common and suspicious activity patterns and help managers protect sensitive data and all information contained in busin esses or organizations. This paper attempts to analyze the types of network attacks and the existing IDS drifts based on Data Mining techniques. In recent days, the growth of science, information technology, and communications, in particular, has resulted in a rise in the quantity of digital data. These enormous quantities of information are no longer able to handle standard (statistical) techniques. Data Mining ( DM) has emerged and has proved to be one of the most successful alternatives for analyzing large quantities of data . Data Mining has been developed with the assistance of many fields, including Statistics, Databases, and Artificial Intelligence. This paper focuses on tracking IDS in a hybrid network using the Genetic Algorithm (GA), by applying essential functions of IDS technologies, standard detection methodologies as signature-based and anomaly-based methods of detection.

Flood is the very common disaster that is being facing in these days. Heavy rainfall with rise of water level in dams, rivers and other water resources have lead to flood in all parts of India. Over two lakh people have been directly affected by flood. The unexpected flood leads to missing of people. Finding out people who are trapped in under water is difficult and risky job for human. This will lead to delay and may cause the loss of life of people. As this disaster is common in every year, we have to be taking a better solution for this problem. To overcome this we have come up with an idea to rescue people who are trapped. We have planned to make a robot which move under water. It will sense and detects the human under water. A sensor will be placed to identify the position of man under water. Thus robot helps in rescuing man from flood.
