Among Japanese famous brand names and products is Sony and its great products. Sony has made it more and more popular not only by bringing to the market high quality products, but also by technical inventions. The firm has made very positive contributions to the overall achievements of the technology industry. Movement of net profit in big firms such as Sony will reflect the business health of technology system and the whole economy. Good business management requires us to consider the impacts of multi macro factors on net profit, and it contributes to promoting business plan and economic policies for economic growth and stabilizing macroeconomic factors. The results of quantitative research, in a seven factor model, show that the increase in inflation, GDP (increasing too much) and lending rate and reducing risk free rate has a significant effect on reducing Sony net profit with the highest impact coefficient, the second is decreasing the exchange rate. This research finding and recommended policy also can be used as reference in policy for technology system in many developing countries.

Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) is a simple process due to which it is mostly automated, and hence once welding parameters are established, it is possible to produce long and repeatable welds. Mechanical/material properties around heat affected zone (HAZ) are greatly influenced by the welding parameters. In the present study, emphasis was to observe the weld bead variations, morphology and weld microstructure with respect to different current and travel speed combinations under the same heat input. The results revealed that combination of parameters had significant effect on microstructural feature of welded structure and hence weld strength. Through Taguchi approach optimum parameters were established for the welding and the performance corresponding to this were observed in terms of microstructure, hardness and strength.

In this paper, variants of transshipment problem under uncertainty environment are investigated. A transshipment problem is a generalization of transportation problem in which each origin and destinations can ship the freights to all other origins and destinations. Since the transportation routes are generally decided by experienced experts, the parameters present in the model behave neither randomly nor fuzzily. Hence the parameters in the transshipment problem are represented as uncertain variables using the uncertainty theory. An uncertain transshipment problem with impaired and enhanced flow is considered and a solution procedure is explained to obtain the optimal solution. Illustrative examples for variants of transshipment problem are also discussed to explain the theory presented in this paper.

In the present work, a full scale computational analysis is performed inside the combustion chamber of a heavy duty industrial diesel engine for two different piston head configurations namely the Open W type and the Omega type. The complete domain is converted into a sector of 60 degrees as the combustion chamber is axi-symmetric consists of 6 nozzles located at the top centre. The extracted sector is enabled with dynamic computational grid control consisting of a baseline computational grid of 0.004 m with suitable adaptive refinements and embeddings to capture the various physical phenomena happening simultaneously inside the chamber. Appropriate physical models are set in place in order to model fuel atomization, turbulent dispersion, and air fuel mixing, evaporation, and vapourization, combustion and flame propagation. A transient simulation is performed for both the piston configurations. The two piston head configurations are compared on the basis of Indicated Mean Effective Pressure (IMEP), Mean Temperature, Integrated Heat Release, Integrated Heat Release Rate, Work Done and Emissions released for the same range of crank angles. It was found out that the performance parameters for both the piston configurations are fundamentally influenced by the fuel spray length for each of the piston type.

Internet is a powerful medium which connects the customers to the marketers (local as well as global) and provides them a large pool of information. With the enhancement of technology, e-marketing has become an important element for the businesses to fulfill the needs and demands of the consumers. E-marketing is used by the marketers to promote the products and services. Now-a-days, the information is flowing from the television, advertising, magazines, newspaper and internet. Today internet has given many new opportunities for the promotion of the products and services. Earlier methods of the advertisement are now replaced by the new methods like promotion through E-mails, Google Ads etc. This process of online marketing is very beneficial for the marketers because through this they can reach to maximum customers and can get their feedback easily. This paper examines and focuses on the study of the Emarketing and its impact on the consumer buying behavior also their awareness and acceptance level of the EMarketing. The study also highlighted some of the major challenges which customers face while doing online shopping.
