Security and economical operation of the traction transformer is a significant guarantee for electric railway with growing apace. Based on analysis of the economical operation principle with an instance, three kinds of power losses due to transformer and the outlay are discussed. Meanwhile, this paper puts forward an economical operation monitoring system for traction transformers, which links to configuration software and digital protection system. The results of system operation (no-load and rated load) confirm that the traction transformer with low power consumption should be selected with a priority to develop economical operation. The embedded monitoring system can be extended in transformer field to analyze power losses.

This paper provides an adaptive PID controller based on back propagation (BP) neural network applied to pressure control of hydraulic system. The controller has many advantages like that more convenient in parameter regulating, better robust, more independence and adaptability in the hydraulic system. According the requirements of system performance, this paper discussed the corresponding learning algorithm and implementation method, which the BP neural network can auto-adjust its weights to vary kp, ki and kd of PID controller. Improved algorithm of BP neural network also was proposed to speed up convergence and deduce concussion of neural network. The simulation results of the pressure control of hydraulic system by using adaptive PID controller based on BP neural network show that it can get better control characteristics and adaptability, strong robustness in the nonlinear and time vary hydraulic system.

To investigate the strength of structure of three-people seat underframe in motor train unit, two analytic methods which are FEA and experiment are used. Firstly, the seat underframe model is established which is based on the existing seat underframe. Secondly, the seat underframe is grid-meshed and restricted and the material parameters of it are also defined. Then, the FEA model of the seat underframe is established by using U-shaped load method and gasket-shaped method according to the enterprise regulation and experiment condition. Based on the analysis results of three-people seat underframe, in U-shaped method the flexivity of the test point (in the middle place of front longeron) is 1.039mm, the maximum flexivity of the central turntable is 1.45mm and the maximum stress of whole underframe is 137MPa while in gasket-shaped method the flexivity of the test point is 0.9739mm, the maximum flexivity of the central turntable is 2.7mm and the maximum stress of whole underframe is 128MPa. And the analysis result is verified by the experiment. According to the experiment requirements in enterprise, the experiment mainly inspects the flexivity of the middle place of front longeron and the experiment result is 1.06mm. It can be known that the results of the simulation and the experiment are basically same.

In this paper, empirical mode decomposition (EMD) denoising is applied in audio signals location when speech signals are received at several spatially separated sensors in the presence of noise. Firstly, Prior to cross correlation, each of the sensor outputs is separated into several intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) using EMD. Then, we compute normal energy of each IMFs and denoise IMFs according to a thresholding rule. The signals is restructured only using main IMFs in order to increase the input signal-to-noise ratio. Lastly, time delay is estimated by generalized cross correlation — phase transform (GCC-PHAT) between signals and location is completed by solving the geometry equation. The results show that the proposed method may provide not only an increase in the location but also reliability in the noise entironment.

This paper proposes an automatic performance degradation prediction approach for equipment by use of field data with noise. In this method, the auto-regression model is employed for making performance degradation prediction by means of field data in order to fit the change process of equipment. The order determination for auto-regression model is according to the FSIC criteria which not only consider the covariance of prediction error by use of different auto-regression estimation algorithms, but also consider the covariance of model parameter estimation. It therefore can modify the over fitness quite well. In the parameter identification for auto-regression model, the conventional least square method has been improved. It not only modifies the influence from white noise to the parameter estimation, but also can obtain improved auto-regression model by means of the selection of optimal value. In this research, the field data of the temperature of gas engine are adopted to analyze the performance degradation of gas engine. Through the simulation, the effectiveness of the proposed method has been verified, which also proves that the improved least square method (ILS) has great application value.

The traditional supply chain cannot satisfy the various requirements of the markets, and enterprises must enhance competitive strength by supply chain network. However, general supply chain network models cannot describe effectively the complexities of system. According to graph theory, the paper presents a multi-layer model of supply chain network. In this model, the paper addresses nodes and connections in the layers, and analyzes corresponding relationships among the layers. On the basis of this model, we present analysis contents of the supply chain network from four viewpoints which are graph theory, three levels of supply chain, simulation and flexibility.

In this paper, decentralized controllers are developed to drive a swarm of mobile agents with high-order (n > 2) nonlinear dynamics in strict feedback form into a moving target region while avoiding collisions among themselves. It is important to consider coordination of multiple high-order agent dynamics which generalize the existing simple single-integrator/double-integrator ones because, in practice, we may need to incorporate actuator dynamics into the vehicle dynamics in order to achieve better performance, thus increasing the order of the system dynamics. The control design is based on a fusion of two kinds of new potential functions (target potential functions and collision avoidance potential functions), backstepping technique and Lyapunov synthesis. The presence of parametric uncertainties is handled by adaptive control techniques. The framework does not depend on a fixed ordering of agents, and is robust to individual agent failures. Therefore, flexibility and scalability are improved. Simulation results illustrate the performance of the proposed approach.

Urban traffic has become a worldwide problem with the economy developing rapidly, which synthesizes out-of-order jam, energy consumption and GHG emission. An autonomic model is proposed based on the micro behavior simulation of urban traffic, in which an information decision factor is introduced. Thus the travel patterns and choice of the road trip have been controlled and optimized dynamically. Simulation with NetLogo verifies that the model can realize the optimization among traffic, energy and greenhouse gases emission and some practical use for solving the existing traffic problems.

Vehicular applications are the bases of vehicle value-added services in the future, which depend on real-time access to multi-source vehicular information. In order to be applied to vehicles in use easily, the implementation of vehicular applications should avoid modifying vehicles and control the increase of wiring harness to decrease system complexity. A vehicular information real-time monitoring framework is proposed, which can collect, transfer and display vehicle driving information, such as velocity and trouble codes, and environment information, such as GPS and video around the car. A flexible and reliable communication protocol is designed to exchange multi-source information between modules in the framework. On-Board Diagnose (OBD) technology and wireless technology are used to collect vehicle driving information to avoid modifying vehicles, and to transfer information to control the increase of wiring harness, respectively. The prototype system is tested on a car, and the results show that the system can be used easily as a basis for future vehicular applications based on multi-source information fusion.
