: The aim of the present work was to study formulation and development of facial scrub with natural exfoliants. Natural exfoliants work well as granules that can remove dead or flaky skin from outermost surface of skin and help to keep skin smooth, healthy and vibrant. The idea of formulation of facial scrub with natural exfoliants was conceptualized by observing that the facial scrub with numerous synthetic exfoliants is available in market. They can have some side effects. Hence, scrub with salt and sugar was formulated with its own unique exfoliation property with deep cleansing effect. Salt and sugar were validated by physical methods like odour, colour, pH and appearance. Suitable scrub base was formulated with various concentrations of salt and sugar and the formulation was evaluated for the functional parameters. Facial scrub thus prepared was subjected to stability study. Subjective evaluation of scrub was carried out to study the functional parameters like appearance, ease of spreadability, exfoliation efficacy, improvement in texture and irritancy on human volunteers. The study showed that facial scrub with 4% sugar and 2% salt gives excellent exfoliation with deep cleansing and moisturizing effect.

: Rivers are the main inland water resources for domestic, industrial and irrigation purposes and often carry large municipal sewage, industrial wastewater discharge and run off from agricultural land. The present investigation attempts to study the physico-chemical properties of river Erai in Chandrapur. The Chandrapur is known for hot and dry climate located around 155 kms. south of the Nagpur at 19° 57 l latitude and 79° 22 l longitude at a height of 321.95 meters above MSL. The seasonal variation in physico-chemical parameters like Water Temperature, pH, Alkalinity, Hardness, DO, Free CO 2 etc. were studied for a year i

: A floristic survey in Firozabad district was carried out from three selected sites which are 15-20 km away from each other. The main objective behind the field study was to find out angiospermic species which may shed large number of pollen in the atmosphere and to note their specific pollination period and mode of pollination which was useful criterion in the identification of atmospheric pollen. We studied variations in concentration of airborne pollen and other particles of biological origin which are collectively known as Primary Biological Aerosol Particles (PBAP) in those three sites. During the annual cycle the frequency of pollen in the air was different in different seasons. It might be due to local climatological influence on flowering of plants. The lowest concentration of pollen was observed in winter season. On the basis of mode of pollination in winter season 65.99% anemophilous, 27.82% entomophilous and 3.58% amphiphilous species were found. Maximum plants bloom, during spring and rainy season followed by summer and winter season.

: Green building concept introduced by Indian Green Building Council is the one which uses less water, conserves natural resources, optimizes energy efficiency, generates less waste and provides healthier spaces for occupants, compared to a conventional building. Indian Green Building Council is increasing the concept of green building in the country simultaneously increasing activity related to that. A green building concept focuses on the inter relationship between the building and its surrounding so that the building does not have any negative impacts. It does this through focusing on design which leads to reduced energy and water consumption by the inhabitants, healthy indoor environment quality and use of smart materials (which don’t consume huge energy). Green building is the groundwork of the maintainable structure growth. Construction industry with the high contributes with gross domestic product, has undeniable impacts on the economy. Although green buildings provide a wide range of benefits for the society, green building development suffers from different kinds of market barriers in developing countries including India. In order to meet green building development in Wardha in Vidarbha region, India. This practice expands and compliments the classical building design concern of economy, utility, durability and comfort. This study aims to investigate the level of developing green building in the current situation, to find important key players and to identify, and to eliminate the important obstacles to green building development.
