: The objective of the present study was to investigate the avifaunal biodiversity in and around the Gadchiroli lake in the Gadchiroli town of Maharashtra State. The avifaunal diversity of Gadchiroli lake was studied from January 2022 to December 2022. The investigation is based on visual encounter surveys. The Gadchiroli lake is situated in the centre of the town and has aquatic vegetation that harbours a variety of birds. Nowadays, increased anthropogenic activities and environmental changes have affected the biodiversity of this lake. During the investigation total 64 species of birds including water and land birds were recorded. These belonging to 11 orders and 33 families. Out of the total 53% species were residential, 31%species were winter visitors,11% of them were summer visitors

: Citrus fruits consist of naturally concentrated citric acid (2-hydroxy-1,2,3 propanetricarboxylic acid) i.e., weak acid. Fruit juices, because of their nutritive value, are consumed in various parts of India. In the present study, the percentage of citric acid and total soluble solids (TSS), were estimated in natural fruit juice and packaged fruit juice.

: Cleanliness is an important factor in human health and comfort; many people stain their clothes and don’t know the best way to take the stain out. The main purpose of this study was to test and observe four different laundry detergents and how they affected stains. The methodology adopted for the study was to use white cotton fabric and four commercial laundry detergents and four biological stains were selected. The purpose of the experiment was to determine which laundry detergent would best remove different types of stains by measuring the amount of stain removed. This study helps the consumer, housewives to understand which laundry detergent worked best.

: Biological monitoring based on ecology of the zooplankton has been recognized as an excellent and in-expensive tool for measuring pollution level in water. The study ofaquatic ecosystem without the study of itszooplankton is incomplete. Many zooplanktonplay a key role in food chain. The present study is carried out to study zooplankton in Janala lake in the year 2016-17. In the present investigation, zooplankton population was found to becomprised of 27 genera belonging to 04 different classes, viz. Rotifera, Copepoda, Cladocera and Ostracoda. Group Rotifers represented by 11 species, Copepoda represented by 05 species Cladoceraby10 and Ostracoda by only one species.

: India is blessed with natural resources of rivers, lakes, estuaries, and ponds. Lakes are naturally formed depressions filled with water and sometimes man made by construction of bunds across the depression and are used for irrigation, fishery development and recreation. The present paper deals with the monthly variation of physico-chemical characteristics of Chorgaon Lake. The studies were carried out for twelve months. Water quality assessment conducted in the Chorgaon Lake between February 2015 and January 2016. The main aim of study is to find out the water quality status of the lake. The lake water is free from pollution; all the physico-chemical parameters were within the permissible limit.
