Investigation of Partial Discharges in Supporting Insulators 支撑绝缘子局部放电的研究

Partial discharge insulators diagnostic as a tool of personnel protection is studied in this paper. The electrical field of normal and defective insulators was simulated. Experiments of PD measurement were performed. Electrical field simulation results showed the high intensity of electrical field (EFI) in porcelain insulator with a cut and in epoxy compound insulator with a crack. Experimental research showed the highest partial discharges intensity in cases of high EFI obtained in the simulation. The experimental data analysis showed that partial discharges diagnostics might be effective for insulators only when using the voltage above the operating one. Only 16 kV and higher allowed reliably detect the defect presence in the experiments. Therefore, this method cannot be recommended for supporting insulators diagnostic before the disconnector use to decrease electrical traumatism personnel. Besides, partial discharges monitoring is also not effective enough for the researched defect types detection.

TPP Generating Unit Technical and Economic Index Accuracy Increase TPP发电机组技术经济指标准确性提高

Calculation of technical and economic indicators (TEI) at TPP that are equipped with automated information-measuring systems (IMS) is carried out, as a rule, automatically. In this case, the values are obtained with a period of 15 minutes based on the current values of the process parameters averaged over this period. An approach is proposed to increase the accuracy of determining the values of operational TEC, including reducing the static and dynamic components of uncertainty, using the example of the gross coefficient of a boiler unit. The application of the described methods leads to a reduction in uncertainty, more rapid obtaining of TEC values, which favorably affects the equipment control mode.

Development of Broadband Transceiver Module for S-band Antenna Array using mathematical model of X-parameters: Transmission Path 基于x参数数学模型的s波段天线阵列宽带收发模块的研制

This article presents the results of the development of the S-band transceiver module. A series of measurements of the X-parameters of high-power S-band amplifier was carried out. The results of comparing the computer simulation of S-band amplifier based on the compact model and measured X-parameters are presented. The results of computer simulation and measurements of the devices included in the transmitting path, the main technical characteristics of the transmitting path of the developed transceiver module are presented.

Study of Magnetic Flux in the Magnetic Core of the Resistance Spot Welding Transformer 电阻点焊变压器磁芯磁通的研究

Transformers for high frequency resistance spot welding systems with an output bridge rectifier are considered. These transformers have one primary and one secondary windings, consisting of several disk coils. These transformers never have an idle mode during their working. This feature significantly distinguishes them from power transformers. The nominal operating mode of the transformers is the short circuit mode. This paper gives the simple method of the magnetic flux calculation in the magnetic core in the short circuit mode. These results can be used to save steel in transformer core.

Modal Analysis for Voltage-Stable Regime Determination: The Nepalese Power System Case 电压稳定状态确定的模态分析:尼泊尔电力系统案例

Voltage stability is a vast subject, which covers a substantial area in power system analysis, such as uniform voltage profile, reactive power balance, and feasible operation of the power system. The study and understanding of voltage stability are not only crucial but also very helpful in the safe operation of a power system. This paper presents an implementation of modal analysis in voltage stability. Here, we propose to use of voltage-reactive power relations from the load flow jacobian matrix to establish a V-Q sensitivity relationship and study the unstable modes in a real-time power system of Nepal. This paper also describe a heuristic approach to bring back an unstable system to a stable operating regime using the results of modal analysis, and further analyze the root cause behind the instability inherent in the first place.

Extracting Model Parameters of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell Using Equilibrium Optimizer Algorithm 利用平衡优化算法提取质子交换膜燃料电池模型参数

The accurate modelling of fuel cell (FC) plays an effective role in simulating its electrochemical performance. In this work, Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) mathematical model is presented. The optimization problem of extraction the best values of unknown parameters of PEMFC stacks has been solved based on a metaheuristic optimization technique, namely, Equilibrium Optimizer (EO). The developed EO is tested on different commercial PEMFCs stacks to appreciate its reliability compared with other well-known optimization techniques. Furthermore, statistical assessment has been performed to validate the reliability of developed technique in solving the studied optimization problem. Additionally, the superiority of optimized parameters is verified by studying the dynamic characteristics of PEMFCs under changing the cell temperature and reactants' pressures. Furthermore, the calculated results have been compared with those obtained by other recent optimization techniques and shown the superiority of developed EO in optimal PEMFC stack models parameters' extraction.

A 20W Single Ended Primary Inductor Converter Power Factor Correction Circuit in Critical Conduction Mode with Constant On Time 一种20W单端电感变换器恒定导通临界模式功率因数校正电路

This paper proposes a Single Ended Primary Inductance Converter Power Factor Correction circuit (SEPIC PFC). The proposed SEPIC PFC is operated in CRitical Conduction Mode (CRM) with Constant On Time (COT). Due to CRM operation, the SEPIC switch is turned on at Zero Current Switching (ZCS), thus, reducing the switching losses. A unity power factor of line current is nearly achieved, resulting in low Total Hrmonics Distortion (THD), over the universal line voltage (90V-260V). The simulation results show that the proposed design does have a smoothed line current and it is suitable for low power applications e.g., Laptops and mobiles chargers.

Speech Recognition in Mongolian Language using a Neural Network with pre-processing Technique 基于神经网络预处理技术的蒙古语语音识别

In this paper, we developed a neural network model, which is capable of recognizing a limited number of words in Mongolian language. We have chosen four words in Mongolian language. These words were chosen for further designing and creating a special device with an audio interface. In this experiment, we used audio recordings recorded in a computer using a microphone in a normal audience with minimal background noise. The database of audio recordings used to train the neural network consists of speeches of 11 people (7 men and 4 women). One of them is around 20–30 years old, three people are 60–70 and the rest are 30–40. The work uses a regular personal computer with an Intel Core i5 processor - the 3rd generation and with 8GB DDR IV RAM.

Resistance in a Developing Low-Amplitude Pulsating Laminar Flow in a Flat Channel 平坦通道中发展中的低幅值脉动层流的阻力

In this paper, we present a mathematical model and a numerical simulation technique based on boundary layer theory for a developing low-amplitude pulsating laminar flow in a flat channel. The calculation results were obtained and the analysis of influence of the pulsating flow on the hydraulic and friction resistances was carried out. At pulsation amplitudes of more than 2/3 of the average cross-sectional velocity, the transverse component of velocity begins to affect the flow. The relations between the changes in the coefficients of both hydraulic resistance and friction resistance are presented and analyzed. Over the entire settling length, while increasing the dimensionless pulsation frequency, the pulsation amplitude of the hydraulic resistance coefficient increases much more compared to the friction resistance coefficient. The dependences of the amplitude and phase of the resistance pulsations are presented, which make it possible to restore their initial values.
