Mechanical evaluation of different fixation materials used for mandibular condyle fractures: Finite element analysis 不同固定材料用于下颌髁突骨折的力学评价:有限元分析

In this study, comparative evaluation of the mechanical properties of resorbable and titanium miniplates, which are used for the fixation of the mandibular condyle fractures, was carried out using finite element analysis (FEA). To do so, first two dimensional computed tomography images of mandibles recorded from ten adult patients were converted into three-dimensional solid body models. Then these models were transferred to the finite element software. In the finite element stage of the study, a condyle fracture was created onto the mandible and double-titanium and double-resorbable miniplates were separately fixed to the mandible surface such that the fractured sites to be firmly attached. Stress distribution over the plates and interfragmentary displacements between adjacent surfaces, which stem from the mastication force applying to the mandible, were calculated using FEA. It was observed from the results that maximum stresses occurred in the titanium miniplates were significantly higher than those obtained from resorbable miniplates (p<;0.01). Furthermore, higher maximum displacements between fractured surfaces were observed in the case of resorbable plate systems than thatofthe titanium system (p>0.01). Maximum stress and displacement values obtained from both titanium and resorbable plate systems were under clinically and mechanically acceptable limits. According to the results, resorbable plates showed a similar reliability of mechnanical strength with titanium miniplates.

Designing of reflux and motility database in ege university faculty of medicine, department of gastroenterology and making analysis based on data mining ege大学医学院消化内科反流与运动数据库的设计及基于数据挖掘的分析

The group of Ege Reflux has been had records of reflux patients and file system since 2000. However it hasn't database systems for patient files. In this study will provide to web based construct 6893 patient records which are tracking by Ege University faculty of medicine, group of study of reflux. There is no determined reflux software anywhere that is planned software. Therefore this software has a potential that may be used national or international units. The data can be transform interpretable data and transport to designed database that has come from patient tracking system. A data warehouse can be construct for web based decision support system that will develop by acquired data. With data mining algorithms will provide a decision support system that can give their analysis results to the physician. And it will provide a mechanism to perform data analysis. All kept in the archives of patient demographic information, lab results and tests in accordance with the patient information with security rules will be collected in a common database. This system will allow personnel of health to easily access the system by using different platforms. It also provides for entry of up-to-date information and rapid queries of patient information while the treatment process. This software will provide academic, operational, technological and economical a lots of benefits.

Development and validation of a computational musculoskeletal model of the cat hind limb 猫后肢计算肌肉骨骼模型的开发与验证

The accurate prediction of individual muscle forces is a active area of Research in biomechanics. Theoretical calculation of muscle forces depends on solving the redundancy problem. Redundancy arises because the number of muscles which are active to realization of movement exceed the number of degrees of freedom of musculoskeletal model. The most preferred method to solving this problem is static optimization of musculoskeletal system. In this study, we developed a musculoskeletal model of the cat hind limb in Opensim and muscle forces were predicted using the static optimization toolbox of Opensim for a wide range of locomotor conditions. The muscle forces calculated using this model were compared with experimental muscle forces. It was observed that theoretical muscle forces were proximity to the experimental data. Taking into account these results, it has been observed that converging the experimental muscle forces can be achieved with musculoskeletal system models which will be developed by using Opensim and thus the analysis of deciding processes of the motor control mechanism of the body can be made more effectively.

A fuzzy inference system design for computer aided mass detection in digital mammogram images 数字乳房x光图像中计算机辅助质量检测的模糊推理系统设计

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women. A mammogram is an X-ray of the breast, using very low levels of radiation. Artificial intelligence and fuzzy inference techniques can be used in CAD systems. These systems generally have main phases that the their names are image processing, and classification. In this study, we used images of mammogram that were obtained MIAS database. The fuzzy inference system was designed using image processing tecniques and statical features. The system was tested and for sensitivity and Specificity respectively, %98 and %99 was found. This study gave better results than our earlier studies using artificial neural network that have %96 sensivity and %96 specifity.
