Herein we have present the preparation of Nd doped ZnS thin films on glass substrate by simple nebulizer spray pyrolysis (NSP) method at 450 0 C. XRD, SEM, and UV-Vis Spectrometer were used to analyze the Structural, morphological, and optical behavior of the prepared samples. Nature of polycrystalline hexagonal structure with no secondary phases was confirmed by X-ray analysis. Extra particle creation on the surface of the Nd doped thin film was observed in high magnified SEM images. Room temperature PL studies depicts that the luminance behavior of the parent sample was enormously changed during the Nd element interstitial with ZnS lattice. Optical band gap value varies from 3.51 eV to 3.58 eV for 3% Nd doped ZnS film ascribed the increasing of film thickness and diminishing of film transparencies. Keywords— Rare earth, Thin film, Nebulizer spray pyrolysis, Photoluminescence, Band gap.

Received: 05/May/2019, Accepted: 26/May/2019, Online: 30/Jun/2019 AbstractIn this work, we have studied the optical properties of L-arginine potassium iodide (LAPI) that has been synthesized by slow evaporation solution growth method using water as solvent. The phase purity of as grown crystal was verified by single crystal and powder X-ray diffraction methods. This paper is focused on the optical properties of as grown LAPI crystal. For that we have studied the optical transparency and dielectric nature of the grown crystals by UV–vis–NIR spectrum. Second harmonic generation (SHG) efficiency of the LAPI crystal was investiagted by Kurtz-Perry technique using Q-switched Nd: YAG laser. We have also studied the dielectric constant and dielectric loss of LAPN crystal as a function of frequency and the obtained results are discussed.

- Semiorganic nonlinear optical material L-Lysine with zinc acetate was synthesized at room temperature in single crystal was grown by slow evaporation technique. The grown crystal was confirmed by Powder X-ray diffraction analysis and the major peaks were indexed. The single x-ray diffraction analysis reveals that the crystal belongs to monoclinic system. FTIR vibrational spectral study was used to identify the functional groups present in the grown crystal. The optical transparency of the grown crystal material was investigated by UV-Visible Spectrum. The Vickers Microhardness studies reveal the mechanical strength of the grown crystal. The L-Lysine zinc acetate was studied to be thermal stability of the grown crystal TGA and DSC. The SHG (Second harmonic generation) of the crystal was tested by Kurtz-Perry Powder method.

Received: 05/Jun/2019, Accepted: 19/Jun/2019, Online: 30/Jun/2019 Abstract: In this paper, an impulsive response of a lightly damped harmonic oscillator is obtained by solving its equation of motion by the convolution method. Generally, it has been obtained typically. Convolution method provides an easy approach towards obtaining the impulsive response of a lightly damped harmonic oscillator. This paper brings up the convolution method as an easy and effective approach for obtaining the impulsive response of a lightly damped harmonic oscillator and presents a new technological approach to solve the Ordinary differential equations. We extend this method to obtain the response of an overdamped oscillator. It provides a powerful mathematical tool and reveals that the convolution method is effective and simple.
