In addition to creating new possibilities for social and economic development, the information and communication technology (ICT) revolution has also created issues and hurdles. It has an impact on all facets of society and can shape and improve a wide range of developmental applications in the social, industrial, and agricultural sectors. ICT offers special chances for human development. ICT has been expanding inequities between and between countries, regions, gender, rich-poor, elite disregarded, and also within the many categories of women in various fields of endeavour. At the same time, ICT has been enlarging these gaps. Building up women's capacities is important so that they can participate in productive endeavours, institutional development, family and societal change, decision-making, political representation, trade and commerce, entrepreneurial growth, and social leadership. In order for women to own, manage, and control businesses in all sectors of the economy, including IT- based ones, there is a need to expand their prospects.

This study explores the opinion on legislative and regulatory effects on the practice of Naturopathy from the perspectives of Naturopathic Medical Students in Training. A qualitative research approach using a Case Study design was employed. An unstructured questionnaire was sent to 50 Naturopathic Medical Students in Ghana’s first Naturopathic Medical School. A question-by-question analysis was then carried out. We found unanimous agreement among respondents in support of legislation to regulate Naturopathic Practitioners in Ghana. We found that regulation, legislation, or standardization affects every profession globally.: We advocate for strict legislation and regulation to streamline Naturopathy in Ghana.

Information is now considered to be essential to daily life. Libraries act as a hub for always giving the correct information to the right individuals. User studies must be acknowledged as a crucial component of the information packages. Libraries and other information providers should be aware of how people find information to improve the services they offer. This paper describes a survey designed to determine the information-seeking behaviour of Teachers and Students at Jan Nayak Ch. Devi Lal Vidyapeeth, Sirsa. Almost 200 respondents (44.4%) are chosen for the study from the 450 targeted samples. Additionally, a systematic, closed-ended questionnaire was used to gather the data. This study calculates the weighted average of the supplied criteria in addition to percentage analysis in order to make the acquired data more visible and easier to interpret. According to the study's findings, the targeted samples are likely to conduct their own independent research and encounter certain challenges because there are few pertinent information sources available in libraries. The report also recommended expanding informal communication as a way to facilitate information flow.

This study is made to find out the important factors of DSapce relevant to implementation in the academic libraries based on the experts’ opinion view. There is lack of use the MCDM techniques in the library field. In this study authors used the Delphi technique to validate the factors which are important for implementing the software. The different studies related to using MCDM are studied as review of literature. The findings of the study provide the priority of the factors through using the Delphi. The results will be helpful as theoretical and managerial perspective to take decision regarding the implementation of the software.

The purpose of this presentation is to discuss digital libraries and their future. The burgeoning topic of digital libraries brings together researchers from a variety of fields. Currently, the field does not have a distinct objective that is separate from these other areas. It's tempting for researchers to believe that digital libraries is a natural extension of a well-established profession. Digital libraries can be thought of as federated databases from the standpoint of database or information retrieval. From a hypertext standpoint, digital libraries may appear to be a specific application of hypertext technology. Digital libraries may appear to be one usage of the World Wide Web from the perspective of a wide-area information service. Digital libraries may be considered as continuing a trend toward library automation from the perspective of library science.

India’s Education sector is in for a grand transformation thanks to the introduction of the National Educational Policy 2020. The present government is also focusing heavily on the country’s higher education sector and wants it to be on par with its international counterparts in terms of quality in research and publication. With this changed backdrop, the modern day librarians of HEIs are no longer reckoned as mere custodians and gatekeepers of traditional knowledge resources; they are vested with the job of educating the research scholars about research and publication ethics, citation styles, provide insights into free, copyrighted material and creative commons licensed content, online resources, check the research outcomes for plagiarism and play a significant role in the Academic Integration Committees of their institutions. This paper deliberates on the enhanced role of librarians as the knowledge resource managers in ensuring the quality standards in research and publication.

To investigate the impact of Library automation services in Govt. First grade college libraries in kolar district. The investigators used a questionnaire and interviews. They chose samples on the basis of a stratified sampling method and administered the questionnaire according to a random method for collecting the data. In this study revealed that 7 of 8 libraries are completely automated. Seventy per cent of librarians believe that automation has improved their library’s services, while 85 per cent of users believe that an automated library system is better than the traditional manual system. Of the eight libraries, one library has a shortage of general staff to deal with automation services. The investigators could only select all the institutions for his study. Although so many studies of the same kind have already been conducted on library automation services in different areas of world, this paper revealed the current status of library automation services in Govt. First grade college libraries in kolar district.

With the changing scenario in information generation, need, availability and dissemination the libraries' perspective is changing very rapidly. In pandemic situation the need and methods are also changed at large scale at ground level. The different meanings of the phrase “Library 2.0” as it is used in discussions on librarianship, and its relationship to Web 2.0; and the potential uses of social software (e.g. blogs, news feeds, social bookmarking) to enhance interaction with library users are discussed in this paper by the authors.
