Background: Measles is a highly contagious infection caused by the measles virus with a worldwide distribution. Measles is one of the diseases that have been reported in our country since 1945. It is known that international travelers are an important source of infectious pathologies. Our goal is to document a case of imported Measles and the difficulty of diagnosing it, especially in non-epidemic times. Cases Presentation: We presently report a 20-year-old woman who was hospitalized at the Infectious Disease Service for fever and maculopapular rash. She had traveled outside of Albania. Measles ELISA IgM (blood) resulted positive while other serological examinations resulted negative. Our case was treated with antibiotics, multivitamins and intravenous fluids. She was subsequently discharged home in good clinical condition. Conclusions: Measles should be included in the differential diagnosis of patients with symptoms of fever and rash, in particular when they have traveled abroad. Patients who have received the Measles vaccine should not be excluded from clinical suspicion and further diagnostic tests for this disease as it can affect this group of patients as well.

Objective: This study visualizes and analyzes the current status, hotspots, and frontiers of cardiac rehabilitation for patients with Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) over the past decade (2012.01-2022.12), and explores the future development trend and research direction of the CR for CHD patients in China. Methods: Relevant literature was searched, screened and downloaded from the Web of Science (WOS) database, and bibliometric and visualization analyses were performed using CiteSpace VI software. Results: Through the search and screening of related literature, 2443 English articles were finally included. Among them, most of the Chinese publishers were mainly universities and had less connection with each other, while the foreign publishers were mainly universities and medical institutions in the United States and Europe, and had close connection with each other. The research content of Chinese scholars mainly focuses on the assessment of patients’ life and psychological status, as well as the assessment of cardiac function. Foreign research focuses on physical training assessment, disease perception, etc. Conclusion: Through visualizing relevant research with CiteSpace VI software in the form of a knowledge map, the research frontiers and trends in the field of cardiac rehabilitation for coronary heart disease patients in China and abroad can be discovered more intuitively. Compared with foreign research, the development of cardiac rehabilitation for coronary heart disease patients in China is relatively slow and insufficient, and institutions lack cooperation. In the future, China should accelerate the connection between regions in the field of cardiac rehabilitation and develop a cardiac rehabilitation model suitable for coronary heart disease patients in China with its own characteristics.
目的:对近十年(2012.01-2022.12)冠心病患者心脏康复的现状、热点和前沿进行可视化分析,探讨中国冠心病患者心脏康复的未来发展趋势和研究方向。方法:从Web of Science (WOS)数据库中检索、筛选并下载相关文献,使用CiteSpace VI软件进行文献计量学和可视化分析。结果:通过对相关文献的检索和筛选,最终纳入英文文献2443篇。其中,国内出版社以高校为主,联系较少;国外出版社以美欧高校和医疗机构为主,联系密切。国内学者的研究内容主要集中在对患者生活和心理状态的评估,以及对心功能的评估。国外的研究主要集中在体能训练评估、疾病感知等方面。结论:通过CiteSpace VI软件将相关研究以知识地图的形式可视化,可以更直观地发现国内外冠心病患者心脏康复领域的研究前沿和趋势。与国外研究相比,国内冠心病患者心脏康复的发展相对缓慢和不足,机构缺乏合作。未来,中国应加快心脏康复领域的区域互联互通,发展出适合中国冠心病患者的具有自身特色的心脏康复模式。

Objective: Exploring the clinical efficacy of transurethral plasma enucleation of the prostate in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia with underactive bladder detrusor contractility. Methods: Retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 68 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia and underactive detrusor muscle contractility treated by our department from July 2021 to July 2022. The above patients all met the diagnosis of benign prostatic hyperplasia, excluding prostate cancer and urethral stricture. Urodynamics showed a decrease in the contractile force of the bladder detrusor muscle, and the surgical equipment used Olympus bipolar plasma resection equipment method. Divide the above patients into two groups: the experimental group of 34 patients who underwent transurethral plasma enucleation of the prostate and the control group of 34 patients who underwent transurethral plasma resection of the prostate. Evaluate the preoperative clinical baseline level and postoperative observation indicators of the two groups of patients, and compare the statistical differences between the two groups. Results: Both groups of patients successfully completed the surgery, and there were no serious complications such as rectal or bladder perforation during the surgery, with less bleeding. The postoperative QOL, IPSS, Qmax, and residual urine volume of patients undergoing transurethral plasma enucleation and resection of the prostate were significantly improved compared to those before surgery (P 0.05). Conclusion: Transurethral enucleation of the prostate has good efficacy and safety in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia combined with weakened detrusor muscle contractility. Compared with traditional electric resection surgery, the efficacy is more significant. In terms of the main complications of the surgery, although there are slightly more patients with temporary urinary incontinence after prostate enucleation, there is no statistically significant difference compared to after electric resection, and they can recover to normal in the short term.

Background: The synergistic mixture of Cyperus esculentus, Phoenix dactylifera and Cocos nucifera (STCD) aqueous extract is a common drink in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. It is assumed to have various health benefits. However, the synergistic mixture of the content has not been studied scientifically, hence the need to evaluate its effect on the liver and kidney being part of the body’s metabolic organs. Aim: This study evaluated the synergistic mixture of Cyperus esculentus, Phoenix dactylifera and Cocos nucifera (STCD) aqueous extract in male albino rats. Methods: Acute toxicity LD50 of STCD was carried out, afterwards, fifteen male albino rats were grouped into three groups with 5 rats in each group; Control, 200 mg/kg, 400 mg/kg STCD. The rats were administered STCD orally 24 hourly, for 21 days, with feed and water ad libitum. At the end of the experiment, blood samples were collected for biochemical analysis of the liver and kidney biomarkers, while the liver and kidney tissues were harvested for histopathological examination using standard laboratory methods. Descriptive statistics were computed and expressed as Mean ± SD. One-way ANOVA and Turkeys test was performed. P value ≤0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: Acute toxicity LD50 of STCD was observed to be ≥2404.2 mg/kg body weight. An increase in the percentage body weight difference of 8.39% and 2.86% was observed for 200 and 400 mg/kg STCD groups. Also, the liver weight was observed to increase in 400 mg/kg (3.92 ± 1.42) in comparison to the control group (3.48 ± 1.61), a decrease in the kidney weight was observed in all groups administered STCD in comparison to the control group. Administration of STCD at both 200 and 400 mg/kg revealed a decrease in the concentration of the hepatic biomarkers AST, ALT, ALP, TP, Albumin, Total and conjugated bilirubin. The kidney biomarker Urea was observed to decrease in concentration for 200 mg/kg STCD (4.60 ± 1.83) and 400 mg/kg STCD (4.76 ± 0.74) when compared to the control group (6.32 ± 2.74). A decrease in Creatinine was observed in 200 mg/kg (91.80 ± 34.69) and 400 mg/kg (98.60 ± 15.53) in comparison to the control group (117.60 ± 42.88). The histological examination of the liver of rats administered STCD revealed structural normal central vein, hepatocytes and portal tract. The kidney examination revealed normal glomeruli and normal tubule. Conclusion: The findings of this study opine that STCD improved the health of both the liver and kidney as evidenced via the biomarkers and histological examinations of the liver and kidney. This study therefore recommends the intake of STCD at moderate doses for improved liver and kidney function due to its bioactive compounds and nutritional content.

Objective: To investigate the effect of Yang-warming and Kidney-tonifying Prescription (YKP) on the treatment of steroid-induced avascular necrosis of the femoral head (SANFH) in rabbits. And to further explore whether its therapeutic mechanism is related to the expression of HIF-1α and VEGF (angiogenic factors), BMP2 and Osterix (osteogenic factor), CD31 (type H vascular marker) and MMP13 (bone destruction-related factor). Methods: Twenty-seven healthy male New Zealand white rabbits were divided into a normal group, model group, traditional Chinese medcine (TCM) group (clinical equivalent dose group of YKP), miR-130a inhibitor group and TCM + inhibitor group. The SANFH model was established by combining horse serum with methylprednisolone. After the model is successfully established, TCM group was given 6.44 g/kg·d YKP by gavage, and the miR-130a gene inhibitor group was intraperitoneally injected with 25 mg/kg miR-130a inhibitor, locked nucleic acid (LNA)-anti-miR-130a. TCM + inhibitor group was treated with YKP intragastrically and miR-130a inhibitor intraperitoneally. The rabbits in the normal group and the model group were intragastrically administered with normal saline 10 ml/d. Once a day for 4 weeks. The avascular necrosis was detected by HE staining. The contents of HIF-1α, VEGF, BMP2 and Osterix in rabbit tissues were detected by qRT-PCR kit, and the expression of CD31 and MMP13 was detected by immunofluorescence staining. Results: In the normal group, the surface of the cartilage layer of the femoral head was smooth, the bone trabeculae were intact and densely arranged, the cells of each layer were neatly arranged, the morphology of the bone cells, the chondrocytes and the adipocytes were normal. In the model group, cartilage surfaces of the femoral head showed exfoliative cracks. The bone trabecular structure was loose and incomplete, chondrocytes, osteoblasts and bone marrow cells were significantly reduced, and the number of empty bone traps was significantly increased. In the TCM-treated group, more chondrocytes, thicker cartilage layer, and more regular bone trabeculae were detected as compared to model rabbits. In contrast, the cartilage layer was thinner, the destruction and fracture of bone trabeculae was more serious, chondrocytes and osteocytes were decreased as compared to model group. The expression of HIF-1α, VEGF, BMP2, and Osterix in the model group decreased significantly as compared to the normal group (P α), osteogenic-related factors (BMP2 and Osterix), and H-type vascular marker CD31, resulting in increased expressions of VEGF, HIF-α, BMP2, and Osterix, which promote intra-femoral head revascularization. Meanwhile, YKP decreased the expression of bone-destruction-related factor MMP13, thus enhancing the ability of bone tissue to repair itself. Regulation of these molecules’ expression may be one of the mechanisms of YKP in the treatment of hormonal femoral head necrosis.

And to further explore whether its therapeutic mechanism is related to the expression of HIF-1α and VEGF (angiogenic factors), BMP2 and Osterix (osteogenic factor), CD31 (type H vascular marker) and MMP13 (bone destruction-related factor). Methods: Twenty-seven healthy male New Zealand white rabbits were divided into a normal group, model group, traditional Chinese medcine (TCM) group (clinical equivalent dose group of YKP), miR-130a inhibitor group and TCM + inhibitor group. The SANFH model was established by combining horse serum with methylprednisolone. After the model is successfully established, TCM group was given 6.44 g/kg·d YKP by gavage, and the miR-130a gene inhibitor group was intraperitoneally injected with 25 mg/kg miR-130a inhibitor, locked nucleic acid (LNA)-anti-miR-130a. TCM + inhibitor group was treated with YKP intragastrically and miR-130a inhibitor intraperitoneally. The rabbits in the normal group and the model group were intragastrically administered with normal saline 10 ml/d. Once a day for 4 weeks. The avascular necrosis was detected by HE staining. The contents of HIF-1α, VEGF, BMP2 and Osterix in rabbit tissues were detected by qRT-PCR kit, and the expression of CD31 and MMP13 was detected by immunofluorescence staining. Results: In the normal group, the surface of the cartilage layer of the femoral head was smooth, the bone trabeculae were intact and densely arranged, the cells of each layer were neatly arranged, the morphology of the bone cells, the chondrocytes and the adipocytes were normal. In the model group, cartilage surfaces of the femoral head showed exfoliative cracks. The bone trabecular structure was loose and incomplete, chondrocytes, osteoblasts and bone marrow cells were significantly reduced, and the number of empty bone traps was significantly increased.
