Academic collaboration can be grouped by different faculty members. It involves searching for relevant research topics to collect and analyze information and establishing a new research partner collaboration. A research partner recommender system for academia in higher education can help reduce the time and effort required to establish a new collaboration. Naive Bayes classification makes recommendations with dynamic text search as input values that may extract not only relevant to research topics but also object locations and case studies into consideration. However, classification as output representation is not satisfactory for academia. Therefore, this paper proposes a non-linear approach to provide a score value instead of classes for more suitable relevant recommendations that can leverage a powerful Sigmoid activation function. We demonstrate our approach using actual data from faculty members at the Faculty of Information Technology and Business in a private university in Indonesia. The proposed web-based system helps increase recommendation accuracy for new users.

Due to the development of information technology, changes in fashion lifestyle, and the current trend of human consumptive behavior, people often find it difficult or need more time to choose what kind of clothes they are going to wear on certain days. Therefore, the development of this Progressive Web Application is meant to assist the users to manage their clothing. This research begins with data collection. This stage consists of several methods, such as questionnaires, literature studies, and comparison of similar applications. The next stage is to design the system, user interface, database, and the application using scrum as the development method. The result of this research is a Progressive Web Application (PW A) that stores the user's clothing data, help the users to combine a set of clothes into an outfit, and schedule the outfit as needed. Other than the main features mentioned, this application can display the weather and temperature based on the user's location as one of the considerations point in choosing suitable clothing style that they are going to wear. This application also provides a way for users to be able to keep track of their clothing usage and to consult with fashion advisors regarding their fashion style.

Education is one of the most fundamental aspects for humans. From human birth to growing up, we never stop learning. Especially now that we are in an era where technology develops rapidly. One of the most confusing decisions for someone to make is choosing a major when they enter college. That's why we created this app to help them determine what major suits them best based on their personality. We chose the personality factor since a person's personality has been shown to have a significant impact on their decision to pursue the appropriate major. we use Holland Code (RIASEC) to test the personality of students. This app was constructed using the waterfall method, which works best for us, helping us to get through the process of developing each part more efficiently and organized. We hope that by creating this application, more people will be able to select the correct major according to their abilities and obtain a more suited employment.

The utility of Super Capacitors has been widely used in the aspect of hybrid energy management which is applied together with energy storage systems into batteries through active regulation schemes. The availability of battery energy in a solar power generation system will determine the performance of providing electrical energy, especially for loading. The way to adjust the additional hybrid storage in this study includes the sensitivity of the battery voltage and the type of load so that there is no sudden decrease in battery capacity due to the loading issue. This study aims to develop a system for regulating the supply of electrical energy through the help of fuzzy logic computing using a microcontroller as the based setting between the battery circuit and the supercapacitor module also connected to a DC-DC converter. The system was tested with 3W and 8W loads which have a computational difference point of 0.812 and 0.196 having the capability of supplying the energy system to the load according to the lowest voltage level rules.

The characteristically folded surface morphology is a classical hallmark of the mammalian brain. During development, the initially smooth surface evolves into an elaborately convoluted pattern, which closely correlates with brain function and serves as a clinical indicator for pathological conditions. Here, we combine computational and experimental analyses to show that physical forces control pattern selection in the developing brain. We closely consider cellular processes during brain development to establish a mechanical model for brain growth. The model consists of a morphogenetically growing outer cortex and a stretch-induced growing inner core. Our results demonstrate that mechanical instabilities can explain cortical folding during brain development. Combining physics and biology holds promise to advance our understanding of human brain development, to enable early diagnostics of cortical malformations, and to improve treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders such as epilepsy, autism, and schizophrenia.

In the implementation of the partnership for business process many companies are still using the conventional method. Communication still uses the social media, manual data collection by the admin, in this case besides taking a long time, accuracy is also a problem, besides of course there is objectivity that cannot be trusted: Is not based on achievement or portfolio. In this research will develop an application that will make try to solve these problems. The software application was developed with the aim of being able to monitor and manage partner data as well as the achievements of projects that have been, are being and will be carried out. Many similar applications have previously been developed, however the applications developed today are aimed at users with specific needs. With the application that suits the needs of this user, it has been able to record and analyze the track record of partners, both past track records and monitoring of work being carried out. With this record, the process of appointing partners is more focused based on their track record, besides monitoring work progress becomes easier. This application, which was developed using Architectural Microservice Development Methods, has been successfully developed and has been used by PT. Telkom Indonesia, Witel West Bandung. This application has been able to overcome the problems that have been an obstacle due to the limitations of conventional methods.

Sustainable consumption refers to the human initiative to consume resources without harming the surrounding environment and compromising future generations. This initiative has become one of the United Nations' Sustainable Development goals for decades. As information technology becomes more advanced, more research is investigating the use of information technology to promote sustainable consumption awareness and behavior. To provide a better understanding related to the area, this article reviews the literature on this topic published between 2017 and 2022. It is limited to research articles published in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings, with a specific context of individual consumption. The articles were found using the Science Direct, Scopus, and AISEL using combinations of keywords and several inclusion and exclusion criteria. In total, 26 articles were reviewed and analyzed based on its application domain, mechanism, and methodological characteristics. This review concludes that more research is needed, specifically, in developing countries contexts. In addition, there is a need to expand the research beyond groceries consumption and education for sustainability context.

The problem in this research is the use of technology on digitalization devices and integrated in one device module designed, namely an intruder detection prototype using visual methods controlled by Banana Pi $mathrm{M}2+$ equipped with a webcam, Python programming language, and information output in the form of email notifications making this prototype has been equipped with security and surveillance systems. The proposed research method is an openCV-based image processing method whose output produces a visual display. This prototype has several features including image capture in monitoring remotely. The result of this research is that when the prototype gets a visual intruder or a person's face in a room then this prototype will use the face detection feature and then analyzed by the system. If the captured face is not a face stored in the system then the photo will send information in the form of an E-mail to the owner / user that has been detected an intruder. The delivery and reception time of E-mail notifications ranges from 3–5 seconds so that this prototype successfully works and the concept of the Internet of Things runs as long as the device is facilitated by a stable internet and sufficient power to monitor the coverage area of the monitor.

Time management is one of the most important things in humankinds' life, especially in student activity. In the new pandemic era, students have already changed and adjust their learning method to an online learning system which does not need them to have activities outside their house. This condition might make them have a lot of time but they lack the ability to manage their own study schedule. To handle this situation, we construct and develop a scheduler application. This application uses Prototyping Model as the development method as it is a user-oriented application. We are using a prototyping model to consider the upcoming details required in the development. It involves communication between user and developer continuously to achieve the goals and things needed by the user. The implementation of software engineering in student time management with a prototype model will upgrade students' skill to the next level of the digital era.

This application uses Prototyping Model as the development method as it is a user-oriented application. We are using a prototyping model to consider the upcoming details required in the development. It involves communication between user and developer continuously to achieve the goals and things needed by the user. The implementation of software engineering in student time management with a prototype model will upgrade students' skill to the next level of the digital era.","PeriodicalId":151165,"journal":{"name":"2022 5th International Conference of Computer and Informatics Engineering (IC2IE)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133227231","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
