Experimental investigation of EMP shielding effectiveness of reinforced-concrete cell model 钢筋混凝土单元模型屏蔽电磁脉冲效果的实验研究

For studying the EMP shielding effectiveness, various shielding cell models are established, which are composed with mesh of reinforcement bars or reinforced-concrete. The results of experiments show that if the reinforcement mesh cells and reinforced-concrete shielding cells are specially designed, shielding effectiveness for an EMP plane wave can be about 40 dB and 20 dB for E-field and H-field respectively.

Modeling and simulation methods to assess EM terrorism effects 评估电磁恐怖主义影响的建模和仿真方法

High power microwave (HPM) and ultra wide band (UWB) sources can represent a threat for the sensitive equipment of various military and civil targets. The paper focuses on effects on aircraft and discusses the modeling possibilities available today to estimate such a threat for modern airplanes. An evaluation of voltages at the input of electronics, based on measured attenuations of a HPM field in a cavity and induced voltages in the wiring of a car which can be considered as being similar to the structure of an airplane cabling, is presented. This estimation shows the potential danger for the electronics submitted to a low level HPM.

Electric field of asymmetric TEM cell 不对称瞬变电磁炉的电场

In this paper, the section of an asymmetric TEM was divided into four regions and potential function is expressed as a Fourier series in each region. The point-matching was used on the boundary of these regions to determine coefficients of series. Thus, the electric field can be calculated in terms of a potential function.

Theoretical analysis of electric parameters of wire antennas in communication base stations 通信基站线天线电参数的理论分析

In this paper, a hybrid technique for combining the method of moments (MOM) with the geometrical theory of diffraction (GTD) is applied to analyze and compute the electric parameters of wire antennas placed in the communication base stations when considering the influence of the reflection of ground plane and the diffraction of surrounding objects. By means of this technique, an example is computed and the results are presented.

Electromagnetic compatibility characteristics of wireless LAN for indoor environment of buildings by FDTD method 用时域有限差分法研究建筑室内环境无线局域网的电磁兼容特性

In this paper, the authors present the results of FDTD analysis of radio propagation channels, and the distribution of electric field intensities in several building structures are discussed. The results presented here are for the case of incident angle /spl alpha/=0/spl deg/. These results are useful for the design of the placement of the transmitter and receiver of wireless LANs.

A comparison of interference cancellation and multiuser detection 干扰消除与多用户检测的比较

We investigate the use of an antenna array at the receiver in FDMA/TDMA systems, to let several users share one communication channel within a cell. A decision feedback equalizer which simultaneously detects all incoming signals (multiuser detection) is compared to a set of decision feedback equalizers, each detecting one signal and rejecting the remaining as interference. We also introduce the existence of a zero-forcing solution to the equalization problem as an indicator of near-far resistance of different detector structures. Simulations indicate that multiuser detection in general provides better performance than interference cancellation.

A novel simplified SVPWM control scheme for 3/spl Phi/ AC/DC Voltage-Source converters 一种新的3/spl Phi/ AC/DC电压源变换器的简化SVPWM控制方案

The paper presents implementation of a voltage source rectifier which based on a simplified space-vector control scheme. Calculation time is much reduced though the simplification of traditional space-vector-modulated algorithms. So a much higher switch frequency can be acquired to improve the line current character under the same hardware. Simulation and experiment results verified the accuracy of the control scheme, and which is simple to be implemented.

The capacity increase of CDMA by the interference suppression for multibeam application 多波束应用中干扰抑制对CDMA容量的增加

This paper presents a multibeam array to increase the capacity of mobile communications and to improve the QoS. Two attractive features, the suitable beam width and the appreciable increase of the capacity, are obtained for perfect and nonperfect beam control. The simulation shows that the cell can be covered by an arbitrary number of beams if the matching network is feasible. By the system-level simulation, the capacity is approximately proportional to the number of the beams in the single cell model.

There is likely to be an increase in the number of incidents involving intentional EMI in the future. It is important that engineers be aware of the threat that it poses and that those who design critical applications where malicious damage would have serious consequences should start to consider this in their designs and the layout of their systems. Engineers need to be aware of the problem, assess the risks posed to their equipment or application and then take appropriate countermeasures.

Electrical properties and magnetic fields of a coaxial bus bar 同轴母线的电性能和磁场

Instead of shielding disturbing busbars consisting of conductors with rectangular cross-section by wrapping them with high permeable material, the authors propose the use of busbars which are formed by coaxial tubes of circular cross-section. Due to their rotational symmetry, they do not generate a resulting magnetic field in their surroundings. In addition this specific form is endowed with some more advantageous qualities, e.g. low inductivity of the impedance matrix, little power loss, high mechanical stability in the case of short-circuit currents, and little influence of eddy current and proximity effect. They investigate the properties of an N-tube conductor system by solving a volume integral equation, where all interesting parameters can be calculated analytically. As numerical results for a three-phase busbar carrying arbitrary alternating currents, they display 3D-plots and diagrams showing how current density, power loss and voltage drops depend on frequency and geometrical relations. Furthermore, by comparing these results with those of a common bus bar which contains conductors of rectangular crosssection, the advantage of the coaxial busbar is demonstrated.
