The Design of an Intelligent Pedometer Using Android 基于Android的智能计步器设计

Google's Android has become the leading platform in smart phone market. Android has also integrated various sensors including gyroscope, orientation and accelerometer, so it is quite suitable to design mobile sensor applications.Pedometer is a common auxiliary device used formaintaining health and fitness. In this paper, an intelligent pedometer is developed using Android. The user's walking motion was detected via android sensor and pedometer application then analyzes the signal, calculates the walkingdistance and calories burned, and provides real time feedback to user via Bluetooth. The system provides three action modes: time-based mode, distance-based mode and count-based mode. All the tracking data are saved in SQLite database, and automatic threshold detection is used toimprove the accuracy.

Smart Classroom Roll Caller System with IOT Architecture 具有物联网架构的智能教室点名系统

Smart classrooms generally differ from otherpervasive information technologies such as RFID. But the academic office is still lack of one effectual methodology to collect the 100% student actual attendance in time at the endof every period class. Nevertheless, the roll-call function in the smart classroom would be critical especially when they implement the RFID student's ID card to track the student attendance. And then the roll-call function only can lead to read everyone's ID card individually which can't avoid the agent to punch at the beginning of every class. In this paper,we propose an efficient mechanism by IOT architecture, namely, the Smart Classroom Roll Caller System (SCRCS) that installed at every classrooms of university and read thestudent's ID card accumulatively to present the total number of the actual attendance on the LED display of SCRCS at the beginning of every class and let the all ID cards be visible on the multiple slots of SCRCS to avoid the student agent's activities. Finally, the academic office will collect every student's attendance at every class on time and help students have good study performance.

A PSO Based Image Disguise Method 一种基于粒子群算法的图像伪装方法

When the tampered JPEG image is saved, it was re-compressed. After double compression, the amounts of some DCT coefficient values decrease greatly. The pattern can be easily detected by statistics methods. To defend this forensic method, we established a model to evaluate the security and image quality influenced by the re-compression. Base on the model, an optimized adjustment of the DCT coefficients is achieved by PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization). Results show that the traces of double compression are removed but well preserving the image quality.

Removement of the Three Minutes Irritating Music Produced No Incremental Relaxation 移除三分钟恼人的音乐不会产生渐进式的放松

This paper studies how the incentive bass drum sound, or a simple fast rhythm affect the performance of HRV (Heart rate variability), which is a measurement of variations in the heart rate. We expect to find a relationship of music and human cardiovascular condition. Related experiments have been tested and got some results. Over the last 25 years, HRV analysis has become more popular and important as a non-invasive research of biomedical engineering. HRV is a widely used method to assess cardiac autonomic control. There are two important measures. The first one is SDNN, and the second one is LF/HF. Through the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), the low frequency (LF) and high frequency (HF) power were obtained from NN intervals. LF/HF reflects the sympatho-vagal balance of autonomic nervous system (ANS). By understanding the relationship between the same tempo with different times of measuring in continuous weeks and the HRV information, we can improve our life and health. The music have some irritate to human cardiac, just like rock music. From the results of this experiment, we can expect to find the influence of this music type to human cardiovascular condition.

Anonymizing Multiple K-anonymous Shortest Paths for Social Graphs 社交图的多个k -匿名最短路径的匿名化

To preserve privacy, k-anonymity on relational, set-valued, and graph data have been studied extensively in recent years. Information on social networks can be modeled as un-weighted or weighted graph data for sharing and publishing. We have previously proposed k-anonymous path privacy concept on weighted social graphs to preserve privacy of the shortest path [9]. A published social network graph with k-anonymous path privacy has at least k indistinguishable shortest paths between the source and destination vertices. However, previous work only considered modifying Never-Visited (NV) edges by other shortest paths. In this work, we further extend the approach and propose a new technique that can modify both NV edges and All-Visited (AV) edges to achieve the k-anonymous path privacy. Experimental results showing the characteristics of each technique are presented. It clearly provides different options to achieve the same level of privacy under different requirements.

Study on Post-Dryout Heat Transfer by Using Wavelet Neural Network 基于小波神经网络的干燥后换热研究

Wavelet transformation has the ability of representing a function and revealing the properties of the function in the joint local regions of the time frequency space. Based on wavelet and artificial neural network, a Wavelet Neural Network (WNN) model predicting the average post-dry out Nusselt number for upward flow in vertical narrow annuli with bilateral heating has been developed. The WNN mode combining the properties of the wavelet transform and the advantages of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) has some advantages of solving non-linear problem.

A Data Center Network Solution Based on Switching Network Search Traffic Model Analysis 基于交换网络搜索流量模型分析的数据中心网络解决方案

A data center network solution was designed to improve the network performance in processing the search traffic. The design is based on the analysis of the switching network search traffic model. According to the search traffic features, two technology revolutions are explained in this paper. The solution is able to improve data center network performance in processing the search traffic obviously.

The Sustained Exhilarating Cardiac Responses after Listening to the Very Fast and Complex Rhythm 快速复杂节奏后心脏持续兴奋反应

In recent years, there has been a dramatic proliferation of research concerned with heart rate variability (HRV) analysis. Heart rate variability (HRV) analysis is a largely used method for accessing cardiac autonomic control. Based on HRV, the standard deviation of normal-to-normal (SDNN) heart beats and the ratio of low frequency (LF) and high frequency (HF) power of RR intervals can be used for monitoring the activity of circulation system and the sympatho-vagal balance of autonomic nervous system (ANS) respectively. The purpose of the research presented in this paper is to examine the relationship between tempo and complexity of music and the two variables of the HRV measures. A four-phase study was designed to take down the values of the two variables. Subjects were 26 students enrolled in the National Chiao Tung University and were tested individually in the laboratory. In this investigation we recorded four different phasis values of the two variables. The results revealed a medium level of consistency between the two variables and the very fast and complex style rhythm. Clearly, the findings indicate the very fast and complex style rhythm has a positive effect on HRV. To conclude, these findings lead us to believe that very fast and complex style rhythm should be used to treat the symptom of people who cannot concentrate on doing something such as suffering from melancholia.

Based on HRV, the standard deviation of normal-to-normal (SDNN) heart beats and the ratio of low frequency (LF) and high frequency (HF) power of RR intervals can be used for monitoring the activity of circulation system and the sympatho-vagal balance of autonomic nervous system (ANS) respectively. The purpose of the research presented in this paper is to examine the relationship between tempo and complexity of music and the two variables of the HRV measures. A four-phase study was designed to take down the values of the two variables. Subjects were 26 students enrolled in the National Chiao Tung University and were tested individually in the laboratory. In this investigation we recorded four different phasis values of the two variables. The results revealed a medium level of consistency between the two variables and the very fast and complex style rhythm. Clearly, the findings indicate the very fast and complex style rhythm has a positive effect on HRV. Genetic and Ant Algorithms Based Focused Crawler Design 基于遗传和蚁群算法的聚焦爬虫设计

A novel design of the focused crawler based on the genetic and ant algorithms is proposed in this paper. The genetic and ant algorithms are combined together to improve the performance of focused crawler. The selection operator, crossover and mutation operator are optimized. The whole improved frame is funded on  the new URL analysis model. And experimental results show the new algorithm's efficiency.

Embedded USB Host/Slave Broadcasting System for Computer Assisted Learning System 用于计算机辅助学习系统的嵌入式USB主从广播系统

The purpose of the study is to design an embedded USB host/slave broadcasing system for computer assisted learning system (CALS).The embedded USB host/slave switching module(EUHSSM) is developed in the embedded USB host/slave broadcasting system,consisting with a USB host chip, a USB slave chip and the USB device driver are embedded to extend the usability-"one-to-multiple","one-to-one" and excel in signal switching without re-enumerating USB deyboard and mouse and to evaluate the effectiveness for simultaneous signal swithces in CALS. in addition,the EUHSSM can be realzed in three operation modes:Host Device Mode (data switch from local EUHSSM to remote EUHSSMs), pass Mode (local EUHSSM,stand alone PC operation) and Slave Device Mode(data switch from remote EUHSSM to local EUHSSM). The EUHSSM can cooperate easily with any other classroom broadcasting systems to provide the finest instruction with USB keyboard and USB mouse interactive learning environment.
