In this work, the viscoelastic properties of epoxy polymers modified with hexagonal boron nitride were studied. The calculated elastic modulus is compared with its experimental value. It has been established that boron nitride does not significantly affect the glass transition temperature of epoxy polymers

Modeling of kinetics of drug desorption from tablet based on polymer matrix 基于聚合物基质的片剂药物解吸动力学建模

Using the literature data, a model has been developed to predict the kinetics of desorption of a drug from a tablet based on hydroxypropyl methylcellulose at different water mixing rates. Upon contact of the tablet with gastric juice, the polymer swelled with the formation of a gel-like shell, which prevents the transfer of gastric juice into the tablet and determines the release rate of the drug into the human body. An equation was used that describes the kinetic dependences of the desorption of a drug in the coordinate system of a conditional time equal to the square root of the observation time. The dependence of the coefficients of the equation on the mixing rate was established, which made it possible to obtain a model for predicting the kinetics of drug desorption from the time of contact with water and the water mixing rate.

Modification of high-density polyethylene and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer by chain-layered silicate «sepiolite» 链状层状硅酸盐“海泡石”改性高密度聚乙烯和乙烯-醋酸乙烯共聚物

Composites based on high-pressure polyethylene and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, containing sepiolite clay powder with a chain-layered structure have been investigated, and their physical-mechanical properties have been analyzed. When using sepiolite, the organomodification and compatibilization are not required. It is shown, that composite materials with the addition of sepiolite are superior in a number of characteristics to those containing traditionally applied layered clay powders.

Analysis of published information on polymer-based liquid embolizing agents is carried out in this review. The registered and used brands are described: Onyx™, PHIL™ and Squid, as well as less well-known Easyx™ and Menox™. Data on their composition, properties and application are given. The advantages and the disadvantages of the described embolizing agents are discussed.

It has been established that the introduction of powdered cellulose, obtained by chemo-mechanical destruction from oat straw, into the composition of rubbers as a hydrosorption filler increases the conditional tensile strength of vulcanizates in comparison with samples without this filler. It was revealed that the degree of swelling of rubbers containing powdered cellulose from oat straw, the pH of the aqueous medium and the degree of mineralization have little effect.

Prediction of rheological parameters of polymers, using gradient boosting algorithm CatBoost 基于梯度增强算法CatBoost的聚合物流变参数预测

The article deals with the problem of determining the rheological parameters of polymers from stress relaxation curves using the CatBoost machine learning algorithm. The model is trained on theoretical curves constructed using the non-linear Maxwell-Gurevich equation. A comparison is made with other methods, including the classical algorithm, non-linear optimization methods and artificial neural networks.
本文讨论了用CatBoost机器学习算法从应力松弛曲线确定聚合物流变参数的问题。该模型是用非线性Maxwell-Gurevich方程构造的理论曲线来训练的。并与经典算法、非线性优化方法和人工神经网络等方法进行了比较。
