Religious Traditions in Tamil Nadu during the Devaram Period 德瓦拉姆时期泰米尔纳德邦的宗教传统

Tamil devotional literature which was prevalent in Tamil Nadu during the Devar period was heavily influenced by Sanskrit literature. On this basis, it is known that many ancient historical incidents have been mentioned in the songs of Devaram. Birth of Gods, the manner in which their relationship is taught, the historical events of the gods, and their heroic deeds can be seen in the devaram. This article explains about the daughter of Umai Malaiyarasan, God Murugan Sivashakti, the story of Brahma and Vishnu searching for a foothold, the story of Vishnu's, the attributes of Shiva bearing Umadevi and Vishnu with half of his body and about the belief in the worship of natural objects such as the moon, Ganges, and Navagraha. It is worth noting that mythological information about the characteristics of minor deities, Indra, Varuna, Agni, Atatiku Balakas, etc., etc., are scattered throughout the Devaram. The purpose of this article is to explore all these in detail.

life values represented by the Eight Anthologies 《八文集》所代表的人生价值观

Love is an expression of the inner feelings of the people who have been living continuously since the Sangam period and the purpose of philosophy is to express men's bravery and to live and prosper through them. The people of the Sangam period were divided into two groups as internal and external. The ancient Tamil suppressed the love life internally and divided the inner life into two types: theft and chastity. Tholkkappiyar and iraiyanar have explained the theft and chastity through poems. The excellence of Mens love the theft and womens love the chastity are explained thoroug it. The internal messages of folk songs are similar as the sangam poems. which are oral songs that have been performed in Tamil Nadu since time immemorial. Oral songs appeared long before writing. So it can be said that oral songs are the source of internal messages found in literature.

Highlights of Poet Kannadasan's Poems 诗人坎那达桑诗歌集萃

Kannadasan, the king of all poets. He is living as a poet who has taken a noble place for himself in the ranks of poets who have left an indelible mark in literature. It is as if the Tamil mother had given all the knowledge of Tamil available to only one poet named Kannadasan, and his poems leave us in awe. The purpose of this article is to explore the highlights found in poet Kannadasan's poems. This study was carried out with a qualitative approach. This research has been carried out in a descriptive approach using books, and research articles suitable for library research. All information has been analyzed based on the objective of the study. The research data has been classified according to the purpose of the study and analyzed in the text analysis method. Aesthetics, simple style, the personality of the Tamil language, life philosophies, realism, screenplays, and poetry have been identified as the highlights found in poet Kannadasan's poems. Therefore, the highlights of poet Kannadasan's poems are evident in this article.

Kamban's New Creative Strategy and Iraniyan's Story Kamban的新创意策略与Iraniyan的故事

The Kamba Ramayanam is a unique cultural repository of Tamil society, a treasure of the arts, and an epic in which the Supreme God has incarnated in this soil, bearing a human form. The learners will be well aware of the poetic ability of Kambar, who flavoured the fruits that had been soaked in the heart of Valmiki, the primordial poet, and who then amplified the taste of that fruit. In more than 10,000 of the six chapters, Kambar, who records the divinity of Rama and the greatness of his human birth, brings through it many sub-stories, introduces them, and gives a flavour to the epic. In this way, this article examines the necessity of the Iraniyan story in the Yuddha Kandam (Chapter on War), the creative strategy of the epic scholar to include this subplot in between, and the reason for this.

The usage of Oṭu, Ōṭu Urupu found in Thirukkural Oṭu, Ōṭu Urupu在Thirukkural的用法

Tirukkural is considered to be the most important book among the Patinen kilkkanakku book. Tirukkural explains the basic qualities necessary for humans to live harmoniously in their inner lives and to live with pleasure, harmony, and well-being in their outer lives. Similarly, the verrumai urupu is an important element in Tamil grammar. Tolkappiyar defines verrumai urupu as eight. In such verrumai urupu, the third verrumai urupu has five terms. Its karutta or karuvipporul consists of two terms, al and an. Both are synonymous. The Utanikalccip consists of three terms, oṭu, ōṭu and uṭaṉ. All three give the same meaning. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to identify and explain the use of different forms of oṭu and ōṭu in tirukkural. This study was carried out with a qualitative approach. In this way, this research has been carried out in a descriptive approach using books, and research articles suitable for library research. All information has been analyzed based on the objective of the study. The research data has been classified according to the purpose of the study and analyzed in the text analysis method. Based on that, 1330 tirukkural 24 kural oṭu and ōṭu found An explanation is also given for the eight kural selected in it. Through this study, it is possible to know the usage of oṭu and ōṭu in tirukkuraḷ.

Sister R.S. Subbalakshmi's Role in the Renaissance of Hindu Community : A special study based on the Educational standard of Tamil Nadu women in 19th and 20th Centuries 苏巴拉希米修女在印度社会复兴中的作用:基于19世纪和20世纪泰米尔纳德邦妇女教育水平的特殊研究

The rise and fall of Hindu Community in India is a historical phenomenon. There are various personalities who dedicated themselves to the renaissance of them, regardless of victory or defeat in their efforts. Though the Hindu community seemed to advance in a number of fields in Tamil Nadu especially during the 19th and 20th centuries despite various forms of oppression and destruction. Under- age marriage was among many other factors that resulted in the backwardness of the society. In such a backdrop, the role played by a number of female personalities was immensely commendable for the reawakening activities. R.S. Subbalakshmi, Dr. Muthulatchumi Rettiyar, Sarojini Naidu, etc are a few to be added to the list of the reformers who tirelessly put all their efforts for the reawakening of Tamil women. Most notably, R.S. Subbalakshmi successfully carried out her mission towards the educational renaissance of widows. Her service has to be specially noted for her careful forward without getting caught into the clutches of the British rulers, instead obtaining their cooperation and support. She carried out her educational activities adopting the modern educational reforms of the British, while preserving the national heritage of India. The Institutions such as Saratha Ashram, Sri Saratha United Women Society, Sri Saratha Vidyalayam, which played a major role in the educational renaissance of the South Indian women, were established by her. She had to encounter untold hardships to operate those Institutions which brought a turning point in a number of educated women. Since she undertook her activities irrespective of societal differences, the rulers, philanthropists and well wishers offered their fullest support and assistance. Her activities were pioneer for the creation of other social organizations and Institutions. She is to be regarded as a forward thinker who always thought of the well being of not only the women of Tamil Nadu but of the whole South India.

Kanngi Valakkurai Epic and Religious and caste dominance of the Tamil Community Kanngi Valakkurai史诗以及泰米尔社区的宗教和种姓统治

“Kannagi Valakkurai” is as an Epic based on Silapathikaram. It has been compiled by V.S.Kandaih in 1968 and it is sung during the rituals in Kannagi temples in Batticaloa District of Sri Lanka.  Kannagi Valakkurai is an important epic which talks about the micro-politics of Eelam’s religion and caste. This research reflected that the caste and religion of the people of Eelam have the influence in the epic of “Kannagi valakkurai”. Further, this study was done with the analytical methodology.

‘Pannirupaattiyal (The Twelve Songs) and the Novel, ‘Prabandha Deepikai’ 《十二首歌》与小说《普拉班达·迪皮凯》

The life and cultures of human society are of a changing nature from time to time. Literature reflects the cultural norms that prevailed at that time. Grammars are those that characterize literary norms and preserve the richness of language. The separate category of such grammar is the Paattiyal. The earliest of the fully available Paattiyal books by time is the twelve hymns. The three disciplines of epigraphy, terminology, and ethnology consist of 360 volumes. Many Paattiyal books have appeared before this book. None of them are fully available today. The oldest of the texts is the Pannirupaattiyal, the period of which is the tenth century AD. Generally, there are three sections of Paattiyal texts. It is necessary to think about the nature of the compositions, the part that explains the prabandhams, the section on the sequel, the second section that is the grammar of the literary genres, and the nature of the Paattiyal texts.

The Role of a Confident Woman in Sangam Literature – Friend (Female) 自信女性在上岩文学中的角色-朋友(女)

The Sangam literature guides us to live the lives of our forefathers with tradition and culture. The Sangam literature is divided into Akam, and Puram, and clearly depicts the love/family life and the social/war life. Out of the 18 books in Sangam literature, there are 8 books related to the Akam, 8 are Puram books and 2 are related to both Akam as well as Puram. The role of a friend is very important in the Akam part of the Sangam literature. Friend's eloquence, intelligence, and selfless high character are seen to excel. The friend appears as the storehouse of love and the abode of character. If she is seen in the woman-lead’s home, she would be working but treated as a daughter. She is a messenger among the man and woman leads, but she is the backbone of the Akam texts. In the Sangam literature, there is more to the statements of the friend (female), the supporting character, than the statements of the woman-lead. The main characters in Sangam literature are the man-lead, the woman-lead, the friend (female), the foster mother, the birth mother, and the friend (male). The purpose of this article is that the female character who is the most trusted of the characters found in the Sangam literature is the friend of the woman-lead.

Educational Ideas in Moral Tamil Literature 道德泰米尔文学中的教育理念

In the Pathinenkilkanakku collection of books that arose in order to uphold righteousness, and in the moral books that followed them, the poets have expounded educational thoughts with interesting songs. Our forefathers have sung songs in Tamil texts even before western scholars have spoken about the importance of education. The kings of the Sangam age ruled the country with the help of learned men. An uneducated person, even if he had acquired a great deal of wealth, was treated with contempt. The authors of the moral books, who know the importance of education, have not only mentioned righteousness in their books but have also praised education in many songs. Thus, the songs of the poets of the moral book become the subject of study under the categories of merits of education, method of obtaining education, method of education, mode of expressing education, and the status of the unlearned.
