: Banjeng Village is one of the villages in Maguwoharjo Subdistrict which has many traditions that are still being preserved, including the Kupatan tradition. Uniquely, the implementation of the Kupatan tradition is carried out on the 1st of Shawwal, Eid al-Fitr, and the 10th of Dzulhijjah Eid al-Adha. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the interaction of the Kupatan tradition carried out by the Banjeng community in maintaining the traditions that developed in their area. The author uses qualitative research method with an ethnographic approach to analyze the results of this study. The findings of this study are to introduce and embrace children from a young age about the Kupatan tradition, so that the existing of this tradition will not lost. The author argues that this tradition is difficult to abandon because of public awareness, and most of the people in Banjeng are involved in this implementation process.

: Wahdatul Ulum is a vision, idea, and scientific paradigm that represents the oneness or existence of all branches of the scientific community of knowledge that emanate from Allah SWT. In contrast to the philosophy of science, which promotes reductionism, Wahdatul Ulum advocates unification. This study aims to examine the implementation of Wahdatul Ulum in learning at the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Masters Program at UIN North Sumatra, as well as the barriers lecturers face when attempting to implement Wahdatul Ulum in learning at the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Masters Program at UIN North Sumatra. The technique used is qualitative and employs a case study methodology. Interviews, observations, and documentation were used to gather data, which was then evaluated by reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusions. 1) Students apply Wahdatul Ulum in learning in the form of vertical integration, horizontal integration, reality integration, ethical integration, and intrapersonal integration, according to the findings of the research. The majority of teaching staff with general scientific education degrees are judged to have failed to accomplish the aims of UIN Sumatra Utara, and it is difficult to persuade students to make use of the hard skill and soft skill skills they acquire throughout the learning process

: Garbage bank is a place to save waste that has been sorted according to the type of waste, the waste that is saved in the waste bank is waste that has economic value. The way waste banks work in general is almost the same as other banks, there are customers, bookkeeping and management. In inviting prospective customers to join, the directors and managers of the waste bank use persuasive communication. This study aims to determine the characteristics of the source (persuader), the of message conveyed, the characteristics of the prospective customer (persuadee), the media used to invite prospective customers to join and persuasive communication techniques applied by directors and managers in inviting prospective customers.This research uses qualitative methods with the descriptive approach. This research was conducted at the Puri Berlian waste bank RT 04 RW 02 Kelrahan Air Putih, Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru City. There are 8 informants taken through purposive technique for this research. Data was collected by observation, interviews and documentation. This study uses interactive data analysis of Miles and Huberman by checking the validity of the data through triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics possessed by directors and managers of waste banks to persuade prospective customers are credibility and attractiveness. The characteristics of the messages conveyed are in the form of verbal and nonverbal, the characteristics of potential customers met by waste bank managers are the central route and peripheral route, the media used are face-to-face media and social media Facebook and persuasive communication techniques used are association, integration and reward techniques

: The pandemic situation forces the learning process to be carried out online, even with much reduced class hours, so that the learning material taught is not optimal as well as the education of student character values. This is because the use of learning time that is increasingly shortened and it is still coupled with signals that are often interrupted. This study aims to find out the online learning communication strategies applied by teachers in carrying out student character education by online during the Covid Pandemic. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use in-depth interviews, observations and documentation. Interviews were conducted with selected informants based on their capabilities consisting of principals, ordinary teachers, and parents of students. The number of informants is 5 persons. The data analysis technique used is an analysis model from Miles and Huberman with stages of data reduction analysis, data display and conclusion. Testing the credibility of the data using source triangulation and triangulation techniques. The results showed that the online learning communication strategy in the aspect of planning character education messages was made in the form of a written document in the form of a RPP (Learning Program Plan). Strategies The delivery of the message of character education here for its effectiveness is carried out at the beginning of learning and repeated again at the end. Furthermore, the communication strategy in choosing media used by teachers when evaluating student character education at SDIT Al Fityan School is to use online learning media, namely Google Forms and Whatsapp video calls.

: The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the interpersonal communication of caregivers in increasing the positive attitude of the inmates at UPT Tuna Laras Berastagi. The use of interpersonal communication used by caregivers towards the inmates will increase good relations between the two parties. In this study it was found that the use of interpersonal communication used properly will have a considerable impact in improving good relations between caregivers and inmates, with the use of interpersonal communication on a regular basis, the inmates will be more comfortable, open and more active when invited to communicate and interact with caregivers who In this way, an increase in positive attitudes will go hand in hand with an increase in the good relations that are created. The purpose of this study was to determine intercultural communication in married couples from different countries . The findings in this study show that intercultural communication in married couples from different countries is running as it is. and previously also made a mutual agreement to determine the language, religion, culture that will be used by the family. This study was conducted to examine and analyze the problems of communication between parents and children in the digital era. This research uses a qualitative design with a phenomenological study. The concept of interpersonal communication applied by parents to children is used in discussing and reducing the communication problems that occur in it. The result of this study is that children who use gadgets experience addiction and interfere with the learning process and their growth and development. Lack of communication between parents and children is often assumed to be the cause of children breaking up and snatching murals of children who are the spearhead of a country. Another problem comes from parents, where the role of parents when the role of parents when children play with gadgets and learning is less applied.

This research uses a qualitative design with a phenomenological study. The concept of interpersonal communication applied by parents to children is used in discussing and reducing the communication problems that occur in it. The result of this study is that children who use gadgets experience addiction and interfere with the learning process and their growth and development. Lack of communication between parents and children is often assumed to be the cause of children breaking up and snatching murals of children who are the spearhead of a country. This article aims to find out the role of women in contemporary da'wah, where women in Islam have the same rights in preaching but that distinguishes the level or dose. Islam positions women in this very respectable position because women have tasks that cannot be done by men such azs conceiving, giving birth and breastfeeding all of which risk their lives in their application. In this article discussed there are three roles of women the first role of women in the Islamic view of women occupying a respectable and also noble position. Islam does not distinguish men from women for da'wah affairs such as ber amar ma'ruf nahi mungkar. Both related to the role of women in the household has a complex role that broadly the role is as a mother, as a wife and as a society. The three roles of women in da'wah are in accordance with the level of their ability in preaching ma'ruf nahi mungkar, can preach at home with their families, can preach on the road, in the market or also through social media which is all done to preach ma'ruf nahi mungkar
