Minimizing the Response Times of Aperiodic Tasks in Hard Real-time Systems with EDF 带EDF的硬实时系统中非周期任务响应时间最小化

This paper presents a new aperiodic request server in a hard real-time system handling periodic and aperiodic tasks, using EDF (earliest deadline first) in order to schedule periodic tasks. The objective of the server is to reduce response times for aperiodic tasks and guaranteeing the schedulability of all periodic tasks (considered as critical tasks). This server improves the response time offered by TBS (total bandwidth server), because idle times, aperiodic and periodic tasks are considered for deadline assignment. The optimality of the server is also proved. Finally a performance evaluation is made by comparing the server with TBS in different periodic and aperiodic load levels

Due to recent tendencies to optimize the use of the discharge lamps and the pollution problem caused by mercury, this paper outlines a simple approach that puts the reuse of tubular fluorescent lamps into perspective. The operation of the lamp is through dielectric barrier discharge which is powered using short pulses voltage. A Class-E converter, which is suitable for dielectric barrier discharge, is also described. Comments on experimental results from a converter working at 100 kHz switching frequency are made at the end

Thermal Dynamic Model for HID Lamps with the Outer-Bulb Effetcs 考虑外灯泡效应的HID灯热动力学模型

This paper presents a dynamic model for HID lamps; the model is based on thermal and electric principles, and it includes the plasma characteristics. Also, the model considers that the conductivity of the plasma inside the lamp depends of the heat flow from the inside of the lamp to outside. The heat flow of the lamp has an analogy with electrical circuits with resistors and capacitors. This capacitors and resistors represent the thermal behavior of the lamp and can be used to predict the dynamic of the lamp and its stability. The proposed model emulates the effects of the filling gas, the arc tube, the partial vacuum, and the outer bulb. This model is used to emulate the lamp behavior when the lamp is fed with square waveforms. This model can be implemented in software as "PSpice", "Simnon" or "MATLAB"

Copper Pipelines for High Capacity Communication between Multiple WPAN, to Establish a User Environment Area Network at Home 铜管道用于多个WPAN之间的大容量通信,建立用户环境的家庭局域网

This paper describes the work in progress towards understanding the feasibility to use a copper pipeline as the backbone to interconnect the wireless personal area networks (WPAN) that exist in the different rooms of a house, in order to establish a user environment area network (UEAN). The UEAN can interconnect all the electronic devices of a user, within its personal environment, without interfering (or being interfered) by neighboring UEANs, allowing the exchange of information with multiple high bit-rate channels. With the establishment of a UEAN, all the electronic devices and gadgets at home can exchange voice, data, and video, in real time. The copper pipeline represents an excellent way to interconnect the multiple WPAN that are established within different rooms (Bluetooth and WUSB technologies), because of its high bandwidth and strong shielding to external electromagnetic noise

Supervisory Control System for Cooperative Agents 合作代理监控系统

In this paper it's proposed a new hybrid supervisory system (SS) for cooperative agent system's control. This supervisory system contains fuzzy logic on its many parts, as well as automatons theory, pattern recognition based on integral images, shape recognition and RGB matrix, and a non-linear fuzzy controller properly said. It's presented as an example the robot soccer competition, which each agent's action depends as much in another agent's reaction as on the cooperation of the others. Although the system is highly dynamic, the strategies that rule this system can be seen on a discreet view as a way to select the best strategy to be used easing the work of the motor's fuzzy controller. Also is proposed a control based on the change of the linear and angular velocities so the computational work can be drag down. The intelligent logic's implementation based on fuzzy logic is used in many ways such as zone characterization and robot's control

A Discrete Reaction-Diffusion Operator for Moving Curves and Edge Detection 用于移动曲线和边缘检测的离散反应扩散算子

This paper introduces a discrete reaction-diffusion operator for iterative curve moving. The operator is a linear combination of an average operator and a maximum-minimum operator. It approximates curvature motion and affine motion. Furthermore, it features properties of level set active contours, namely topological changes of the curve are handled automatically and it does not require the initial curve to be situated close to searched objects. The operator presented is stable and simple to program. An application to edge detection is shown

Selection of Micromixers for Biochemical Detection of Pesticides 农药生化检测微混频器的选择

The use of micromixers in a microfluidic system is basic, when two solutions necessitate to be mixed, with the aim of developing any biochemical analysis. In this article, a study of the different technologies associated with the design of micromixers is made, with the purpose of identifying which technology is the most adequate for fabricating micromixers in accordance with the parameters associated with its application. The study is exemplified with the choice of a micromixer used to detect the presence of pesticides in the product obtained of the mix between an enzyme and the solution containing possibly pesticides which is extracted of a vegetable. The presence of pesticides in vegetables is strategic to guarantee or not the complete acceptation of them by the markets and customers as secure food for its ingestion

Learning Objects Planning for the Training of the Power Generation Operation and Maintenance Personnel 发电操作维护人员培训的学习对象规划

In this paper, the learning object technologies are analyzed for their use in Web training of the Power Generation Operation and Maintenance personnel at CFE. First, a diagnosis of the training needs is presented; second, the learning object concept with its technological components is analyzed, later, the Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) is discussed as alternative to implement a learning objects repository and the extensions to the classification system made by CFE are included. The article finishes with an analysis of the Knowledge Management effort to use learning objects in training.

For pt.1 see ibid., p.Z000240-5 (2006). In this paper, the edge-set encoding technique is tested on multi-objective power distribution network planning problems. The edge-set encoding technique and its genetic operators are described. A multi-objective evolutionary algorithm was developed, based on the strength Pareto evolutionary algorithm 2, in order to test this encoding technique on several case studies with a real power distribution system with two objective functions: economical cost and energy non-supplied. From the results, it can be said that the edge-set encoding technique is suitable to resolve the multi-objective optimization problem of power distribution system expansion planning
