Two Families of Sliding Mode Controllers for a Doubly-Fed Induction Generator in an Isolated Generation System 隔离发电系统中双馈感应发电机的两类滑模控制器

In this paper the authors consider the sliding mode control (SMC) of a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG), supplying an isolated RL load in a variable speed-constant frequency (VSCF) generation system. It must be reminded that in electric machines the existence of parameter changes, caused by several reasons like winding temperature variation, hysteresis and saturation, is well recognized, but rarely accounted for. For this reason, SMC has been considered. SMC has various attractive features like order reduction, robustness, disturbance rejection, and, sometimes, simple implementation. In this paper, some ideas of SMC applied by Utkin et. al. for controlling the speed or torque of a squirrel-cage induction motor are used to design two families of controllers for regulating amplitude and frequency of the voltage generated by a DFIG. First simulation results are presented as well

Delta-Sigma Integral Sliding-Mode Control Strategy of a Three-Phase Active Power Filter Using d-q Frame Theory 基于d-q框架理论的三相有源电力滤波器δ - σ积分滑模控制策略

A delta-sigma integral sliding-mode (ISM) control strategy applied to an active power filter (APF) is presented. The APF is connected in a parallel (shunt) configuration in order to compensate for reactive power and mitigate harmonic currents. The active filter is applied to a 1 kW, 208 V three-phase front-end rectifier, which is used to supply the required power of a low-voltage, high current DC-power supply, typically ranging between 100-500 A for output current, and 12 V for output voltage. In particular, the new ISM approach is developed to simplify the control of a three-phase PWM voltage source inverter (VSI) employed as the active filter in a three-phase three-wire configuration. Simulation results show the feasibility of the approach to compensate the reactive power, as well as to reduce low-order harmonic currents. Further, a phase portrait and state trajectory diagrams are presented under load variations. Further, experimental results are presented to verify the feasibility of the ISM control strategy

Analysis of Three Parametric Active Models and a Solution to Adjust Their Parameters 三种参数化主动模型的分析及参数调整方法

Active models or snakes are mainly used for detection of certain characteristics defined by the user using prior knowledge. In this paper an analysis of the main characteristics of three parametric active models (Kass, Cohen and Xu) is done. A comparative table is shown to help the user to define which could be the best model according to the application. Finally an experimental design is used to adjust the parameters of the models to guarantee a desired output

Variational Shape Model for Lip Postures Recognition Using GA 基于遗传算法的变分形状唇姿识别模型

A system for feature extraction and recognition of lip postures is presented, by constructing a shape model of the inner and outer contours of the lips, whose parameters are controlled by a canonical genetic algorithm. Features of each posture are the model parameters which better fit to the analyzed image. A Bayesian classifier is used to classify, under the assumption that there is equiprobability between the classes, obtaining results up to 82.4% of accurate classification

AStop: A New Topology Generator at the Autonomous Systems Level AStop:自治系统级的新拓扑生成器

Considering the degree of an autonomous systems (ASs) as the number of edges or links of an AS, several studies have shown that the distribution of the degree of an AS follows power-laws and that its cluster coefficient is higher than that found in random networks. We introduce a new model which is based on i) observations obtained from the analysis of the union of six BGP tables available publicly, and ii) the business relationships between ASs. We compared the performance of our model with models widely cited and two real ASs topologies. Our model performs well for the following parameters: number of ASs with degree equal to one, the AS with the maximum degree achieved and CCDF

An Improved Method for Segmentation of Fingerprint Images 一种改进的指纹图像分割方法

In this work, an improved method for the pixel-wise segmentation technique is presented. Three features are extracted from each pixel and a linear classifier associates the pixel with the background or the foreground. Since this technique requires a trade-off between the accuracy of the classification and the computational effort, we propose a modified editing-condensing technique to select a reduced and representative reference set from the original training set. Also, because this is a linearly nonseparable classification problem, we propose the fuzzy perceptron learning method to obtain an optimal and robust lineal classifier. Experiments have shown that using the proposed method a reduced number of epochs and classification errors were obtained

The next article presents a new alternative for active control for vibrations on SLM structures. To solve the non-harmonic oscillation behaviour, a novel neural-PID scheme is applied to obtain a self-tuning algorithm in terms of reduce the dangerous effects on the actual mechatronic systems developed. Neural strategy is established as a two slides net trained by a typical back propagation block defined next to the PID on a FPGA to let the training-online for the active control scheme proposed. The final structure can be considered as a rapid-prototyping environment for future mechatronic designs

Fast Active Contours for Sampling 快速活动轮廓采样

This paper presents a novel implementation of active contour model for fast extraction in image interpretation called fast active contours for sampling (FACS). The described process is based on the use of a sampling window in the phase of minimization of the energy. The method can be combined with most of the other active contour approaches presented, thanks to the independence between the computational minimization process and the classical active contour minimization process. Experimental result is a fast active contour convergence towards desired object boundaries and its show improvements in terms of computational time reduction after only very few iterations, when compared with other similar fast active contour models

Circumscribed Mass Detection in Digital Mammograms 数字乳房x光检查中的受限肿块检测

The incidence of breast cancer in women has increased significantly in recent years. This paper proposes a computer aided diagnostic system for mammographic circumscribed mass detection. The propose method can distinguish between tumours and healthy tissue among various parenchymal tissue patterns. In the first stage the preprocessing and features extraction of the image is done. In this way image segmentation, filtering, contrast improvement and gray level thresholding techniques are applied for enhancing the whole image, and then the features are extracted from the resultant image. In the second part a k-means clustering algorithm is applied. The evaluation of the propose methodology is carried out on Mammography Image Analysis Society (MIAS) dataset

The propose method can distinguish between tumours and healthy tissue among various parenchymal tissue patterns. In the first stage the preprocessing and features extraction of the image is done. In this way image segmentation, filtering, contrast improvement and gray level thresholding techniques are applied for enhancing the whole image, and then the features are extracted from the resultant image. In the second part a k-means clustering algorithm is applied.
