Processing of Ceramic Blocks Using Femtosecond Lasers 利用飞秒激光加工陶瓷块

要旨:フェムト秒レーザーを用いたセラミックブロックの切削について検討した。実験材料には,完全焼結ジルコニア,半焼 結ジルコニア,アルミナおよびハイドロキシアパタイトを用いた。設定条件は波長,照射光強度,焦点外し距離,オートステー ジの移動速度および切削粉除去のためのエアーの有無とし,設定条件を変化させてレーザー照射して形成した切削痕の深さと断 面積を比較した。 その結果,材料内部に水が浸透すると切削力が増した。ジルコニアは黒化が見られたが,再加熱で消失した。切削力は照射光 強度に依存性があった。照射光強度が増加すると切削痕の深さと断面積は増加したが,20mW を超えると増加量は低下した。同 じ照射光強度では,波長は短い方,パルス幅は短い方が切削量は大きかった。切削粉の除去が切削に有効であった。窩洞形成し た窩底の表面粗さは,臨床応用可能な範囲であった。 以上から,フェムト秒チタンサファイアレーザーは歯科用セラミックの高精度な加工に応用できることが示唆された。
摘要:研究了使用飞秒激光对陶瓷块进行切削。实验材料采用了完全烧结氧化锆、半烧结氧化锆、氧化铝及羟基磷灰石。设定条件为波长、照射光强度、失焦距离、自动沉积的移动速度以及是否有用于去除切削粉末的空气,比较了改变设定条件后激光照射所形成的切削痕迹的深度和切割面积。结果,当水渗透到材料内部时,切削力就会增加。氧化锆出现黑化现象,但再次加热后消失。切削力对照射光强度有依赖性。随着照射光强度的增加,切削痕的深度和截面积也随之增加,但超过20mw后增加量就下降了。在照射光强度相同的情况下,波长越短、脉冲宽度越短的切削量越大。切削粉的去除对切削很有效。凹洞形成的凹底表面粗糙度在可临床应用的范围内。以上表明,飞秒钛蓝宝石激光可应用于牙科用陶瓷的高精度加工。

The bactericidal effects of an Nd:YAG laser by using a reaction mediator of TiO2 are described. The laser beam was irradiated to the TiO2 suspension through a quartz optical fiber, and the generated induced dynamic stress was observed in the TiO2 particles which were absorbed by the laser beam. Our previous study demonstrated the bactericidal effect of an Nd:YAG laser due to thermal and induced dynamic stress. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of different conditions of the Nd:YAG laser on induced dynamic stress. A pulsed Nd:YAG laser (STREAK-I ALTEK Co., Tokyo) and rutile type of TiO2 powder (TIO12PB Kojundo Chemical Lab. Co., Ltd., Saitama) were used. Streptococcus mutans ATCC 25175 was used for this experiment. Bacterial cell suspensions of the strain were irradiated by Nd:YAG laser with several different pulsed energies and times of exposure, then the samples were subjected to SEM investigation. After these treatments, the viable cell count was estimated in each sample under different conditions. Regarding the bactericidal effects of the Nd:YAG laser in the presence of TiO2, there was a significant reduction such as 90-99.9% of viable cells of S. mutans. SEM (JSM-6390LV JEOL Ltd. Tokyo) investigations revealed morphological damage according to the pulse energies and exposure times applied. It is suggested that the bactericidal action occurred as a result of the dynamic stress induced by the Nd:YAG laser irradiation and TiO2 as a reaction mediator.

We developed the new colorimetric analysis system with the KOITO white light laser. The KOITO white light laser is a hollow cathode He-Cd laser device that simultane ously oscillates three light laser beams of three primary colors (red, green, blue) from a single laser tube. These beams are formed into a white light laser. In addition, because the oscillation wavelengths of red (635.5 nm, 636 nm), green (533.7 nm, 537.8 nm), blue (441.6 nm) color light are very near the ideal three primary colors.This system has three character. First character is non-contact type without integral sphere. Second is using pen-type probe which contain the bundle type fiber. Third is recording the rate to three colors in the standard reflex light.We examined the efficacy of this colorimetric analysis system with experimental study and clinical cases. On the other hand, we improved this system in the diagnosis of oral malignant tumor.Using this system, we could measure the color disorders in the oral cavity non-invasively, easily, immediately, exactly. Moreover we performed spectral analysis in patients with an oral squamous cell carcinoma. We found that there were bimodal peak at 650 and 690 nm at the excitation wavelength of 441.6 nm and that this result is different from the normal autofluorescenc.We consider that this coloriometric analysis system is useful to measure the color disorders in the oral cavity and has possibility to be improved in the diagnosis of oral malignant tumor.
