Objective-The United States Department of Agriculture's MyPlate is based on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and serves as the primary educational tool to communicate federal dietary guidance. This report presents the percentage of adults who have heard of MyPlate and who have tried MyPlate along with their associations with self-rated diet quality.

This report demonstrates the use of National Hospital Care Survey (NHCS) data to describe characteristics of patients experiencing opioid-involved hospital encounters with co-occurring disorders, defined as lifetime diagnoses of both a substance use disorder (SUD) and a selected mental health issue (MHI), that is, diagnosed at any point in the past or during the present encounter.

Objective-This report demonstrates use of three National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) data systems to study differences in health by sexual orientation. Sexual orientation differences in a broad selection of health indicators were examined using the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG), and National Health Interview Survey (NHIS).
