Sentiment analysis aims to predict sentiment tendency automatically. Traditional methods tackling this problem are mostly based on supervised learning, but it is time-consuming and uneasy to extendable. In this paper,we provide a novel method of sentiment analysis based on un-supervised learning together with some language rules. It is no necessary to have a positive sentiment dictionary beforehand as we can build it automatically during processing the comments. By this positive sentiment dictionary,it provides an efficient way to classify the product reviews. The methodology presented is easy to extend due to its un-domain-dependency. As we can see,the experiment result obtained shows its promising application.

In order to extract image texture features of medical images, pyramid structure wavelet (PWT) is used in this paper. A group of gray-scale images of chest CT from medical image database are selected as test set. The PWT using three different wavelets bases db6, db2 and Haar are carried out to extract texture feature of each image respectively. A method called symmetric circular extension which takes the boundary as symmetric center are utilized to overcome data increasing and large errors existed nearby reconstructed signal. Empirical results show that the texture feature of chest CT images is mainly concentrated in the low frequency part. However, LH, HL and HH sub-bands contain only less than 7% of the total energy. The PWT using haar wavelet basis extracts more information than it using db2 and db6 wavelet basis. For texture analysis of medical images, the PWT algorithm using haar wavelet base can improve the performance of feature extraction of each sub-band.

This paper describes the design, implementation, and analysis of a proof-of-concept prototype of a traffic surveillance system. The system employs an in-vehicle device for collecting real-time traffic data. The device uses GPS technology to record information about the position and the speed of a moving vehicle. The device uses the emerging ZigBee standard as a low-cost low-power wireless ad-hoc network, to enable the device to be a member of a ZigBee network and allow the data to be transmitted to one of the roadside base stations, which relay the data to a central server. The gathered data from all vehicles are fused and maintained on the central server. Real-time information on the server is presented to end-users through a web interface. In addition, the server maintains historical Doha traffic information database that can be used for traffic analysis and prediction.

Using finite element method, the Modal parameters were obtained in this paper, and the Modal parameters were certified by the experimental Modal analysis. Based on the result, the reason causes of the motorcycle vibration and the resonant frequencies were found. At last improved opinions were given and the dynamic characteristics of ATV (All terrain Vehicle) were also improved.

In this paper, an ESPRIT-based approach named as AD-ESPRIT is presented to jointly estimate the directions of arrival (DOAs) and directions of departure (DODs) estimation of interesting multi-targets for bistatic MIMO radar system. The proposed method does not need two-dimensional (2-D) or multiple 1-D spectrum peak searching. Thus, the computational complexity of the proposed algorithm is reduced for the direction finding cross localization in bistatic MIMO radar system. Furthermore, the estimated DODs and DOAs is automatically determined. Simulation results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

An investigation on the effects of oxygen-enriched combustion air on engine performance was extended to include the implications from the second law of thermodynamics. The use of oxygen enriched combustion air will have a direct affect on the combustion process and on the overall engine thermodynamics. For example, for cases with higher inlet oxygen concentration (and hence less nitrogen dilution), for the same operating conditions, the combustion gas temperatures and engine cylinder heat losses will be higher. Results include detail thermodynamic results of temperatures, pressures and properties as functions of the oxygen concentration of the combustion air. Other comparisons are reported.

In automotive steel wheel fatigue tests, the dynamic bending fatigue life test is the most important durability test of wheel prototype verification. In this paper, an economic and practical method is proposed to simulate wheel bending fatigue test and to predict the fatigue life. The proposed method is based on finite element analysis and continuum damage mechanics. To simulate the actual fatigue test, bolt pre-tightening forces are realized by the combination of prets179 and nodes coupling, and rotating force is applied to the moment arm tip every 15 degree. Based on the fatigue damage accumulation model of damage mechanics, the bending fatigue prediction is carried through. By the comparison with bending fatigue test, it is shown that the numerical analysis results are good agreement with those of the actual test.

The residual cell overlaps in the global placement are guaranteed to prevent successful routing in very large scale integration physical design. In order to resolve aforementioned illegal placement, the proposed method is divided into two main stages: sorting the cells to be placed according to certain criteria; legalizing the cells one at a time. During legalization, a new term “collision” is introduced to resolve cell overlaps and then we dissect how this term helps to achieve a better placement. Moreover, cells are reassigned to rows through a modified Dijkstra algorithm. Compared to Abacus[2], empirical validation shows our approach reduces the movement between the cells by 20% to 40% and the CPU time is decreased by 30% to 60% in the ISPD04 IBM Standard Cell Benchmarks with Pads[5].
