Low-cost home automation using Arduino and Modbus protocol 采用Arduino和Modbus协议的低成本家庭自动化

Smart home creates the environment that maximizes the quality of life beside the efficient use of energy resources and provides the energy management systems (EMS). Since the energy crisis is a global problem, home automation should be pervasive all around the world as an important component in reducing energy and using renewable energy. One of the fundamental issues in home automation is the cost of automation. Thereby reducing the cost of automation is an important concern in the world. In this paper, a low-cost home automation system based on Arduino microcontroller has been introduced that works with Modbus protocol.

Finite-time distributed error observer design for multi-agent systems with chaotic or hyper-chaotic dynamics 混沌或超混沌多智能体系统的有限时间分布式误差观测器设计

In this study a distributed error observer is designed in order to estimate the deviation between the states of the leader and follower agents in a chaotic or hyper-chaotic multi-agent system. The proposed algorithm can tolerate bounded uncertainties and disturbances in estimation by tuning the observer parameters. It is assumed that there exist at least one follower which is directly connected to the leader and other followers just have at least one path to it. The finite-time convergence of the observer, regardless of agents' initial conditions, is proven using a set of appropriate Lyapunov functions and the convergence time limit equation is introduced. To show the effectiveness of proposed method simulation results are reported.

Delay-independent Li controller for linear systems with time-varying delay 时变时滞线性系统的非时滞Li控制器

It is a well-stablished theory that stability analysis and design of time-delay systems are not an easy task to deal with especially when the delay is time varying. In this article, a new delay-independent controller is introduced. The sub-optimal criterion proposed in this paper is independent of delay volume and its variation rate. The method proposed in this article takes advantage of L1 small gain theory and its applications to stabilize linear time-delay systems. In this document, the delay modeled as an uncertainty where its 1-norm is lower than one. Reducing the L1 norm of the closed loop system is transformed into a matrix inequality problem and the controller is evaluated using LMI method.

Broken-bar rotor fault detection in squirrel-cage induction motors at presence of sensor faults using adaptive Unscented Kalman filter 基于自适应Unscented卡尔曼滤波的鼠笼式异步电动机断条转子故障检测

In this paper, adaptive Unscented Kalman filter will be used for robust fault detection of a broken bar rotor in a squirrel-cage induction motor. In induction motors, broken bar rotor fault, present itself by increasing rotor resistance. Therefore, induction motor model is developed and rotor resistance is considered as one of the system states. Then General and Adaptive form of Unscented Kalman filter is applied to estimate model states by considering the nonlinear plant model. Finally, it will be shown that, at presence of errors such as offset or abnormal sensor measurements, induction motor states can be estimated by adaptive unscented kalman filter more accurately than by general unscented kalman filter. Therefore, fault detection of broken-bar rotor is performed more reliably.

Robust identification of neuro-fractional-order Hammerstein systems 神经-分数阶Hammerstein系统的鲁棒辨识

This paper introduces a neuro-fractional order Hammerstein model with a systematic identification algorithm, which is robust against non-Gaussian measurement noises and outliers. The proposed model consists of a Radial Basis Function (RBF) in series with a Fractional-Order System (FOS). The proposed identification scheme is accomplished in two stages. The fractional order of the FOS is estimated in the frequency-domain. Then, the weights of the RBF and the coefficients of the FOS are determined in the time domain via Lyapunov stability theory. Real measurement data contain outlier, which badly degrades the results of conventional identification algorithms. To overcome this difficulty a correntropy kernel-based Lyapunov function is proposed that is robust against outliers. The effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated through a simulating example.

Application of observer-based sliding mode controller in dynamic positioning systems 基于观测器的滑模控制器在动态定位系统中的应用

In dynamic positioning, the governing equations of vessel motion are uncertain. These uncertainties are due to unknown environmental disturbances and hydrodynamic coefficients in equations of vessel motion. In previous works concerning uncertainties, it is assumed that the vessel states are fully available and that the position signals are noise free. This paper presents the design of a robust DP system composed of a notch filter, a passive nonlinear observer and a sliding mode control algorithm to remove the assumptions made in previous works. The measured values of position and heading are first filtered by the notch filter, then, the velocity and bias terms are estimated by the observer using the filtered signal. Then they are used in a sliding mode control law for position keeping of the vessel. The simulation results approve of the capability of the proposed control system to deal with uncertainties. dynamic positioning, nonlinear passive observer, notch filter, robust DP system, sliding mode control, uncertainty.

Optimal integral sliding mode for speed control of permanent magnet synchronous motor 永磁同步电机最优积分滑模速度控制

In this paper, optimal integral sliding mode controller is proposed to control the speed of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The conventional sliding mode speed controller and the sliding mode controller with variable switching gain are considered. To increase the robustness of both controllers integral sliding surface is used. Although, these methods can guarantee asymptotic stability and satisfactory performance of the closed-loop system, it suffers from nonoptimality and no saturation limit for q-axis reference current. In order to solve the non-optimality problem in the presence of saturation limit for q-axis reference current all the parameters of both controllers are derived via particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm in order to minimize an appropriate cost function. Compared with the conventional optimal PI controller, numerical simulations of the proposed schemes show a remarkably better improvement in performance and robustness in the presence of saturation in q-axis current, unknown parametric drifts and unknown load torque.

Modified composite nonlinear feedback for nonstep output tracking of multi-input multi-output linear discrete-time singular systems with actuator saturation 基于改进复合非线性反馈的多输入多输出线性离散奇异系统无阶跃输出跟踪

This paper considers multi-input multi-output (MIMO) linear discrete-time singular systems with input saturation and investigates the non-step tracking control problem for these systems. For this purpose, first the equations of reference generator which is a linear discrete-time singular system with appropriate input is introduced and the dynamical equations of error vector are derived. Then the modified CNF controller is developed for tracking non-step reference vector, which is generated by the reference generator. In this regard, a theorem is given and proved, which guaranties the output tracking even if the input saturation takes place. Finally, a design example is given and computer simulations are verified the theoretical results.

Double-stage grid-connected photovoltaic system with POSLL converter using PI resonant controller 采用PI谐振控制器的POSLL变换器双级并网光伏系统

In this paper a proportional resonant (PR) controller for the single-phase double-stage grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) system is proposed. The proposed system consists of maximum power point tracker (MPPT) controller and PR controller. The current controller uses PR controller for the close-fitting regulation of grid current. The well-known perturbation and observation method (P&O) is used for MPPT. The proposed MPPT controller generates reference voltage of the PV panel and by comparing with its real value, switching command of DC-DC converter is generated. A positive output super lift Luo (POSLL) DC-DC converter is employed for the high voltage gain DC-DC conversion.

Emotional controller (BELBIC) for positive output Luo converter 情感控制器(BELBIC)为正输出罗转换器

The positive output Luo converter (POLC) is a DC-DC converter with a simple structure and can decrease or increase input voltage with low ripples suitable for renewable energy production. One of the vital problems of such converters is their high nonlinearity which degrades the performance with conventional controls. Design a high performance control, especially when high accuracy application is needed, is essential. The controller should have a simple structure to achieve a low cost DC-DC converter. This paper proposes a brain emotional learning based intelligent controller (BELBIC) for POLC with fixed frequency. The output voltage is the only signal which is taken as feedback. The proposed controller is realized in a laboratory setup. Experimental results are obtained for both PI control and proposed control to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method.
