Optimized bidding algorithm of real time bidding in online ads auction 网络广告拍卖实时竞价的优化竞价算法

RTB is one of the most popular topics on online advertising in recent years; RTB-based ads auction subverts traditional advertising strategy, explicitly stating the concept that “advertisement is commodity”. Most of the current researches on online ads auction focus at the point of linear programming or assignment problem, while there's little study on the macro-level auction mechanism, especially the characteristics of the general winning bids. Based on real log data from a DSP in China, this paper conducts empirical analysis of average deal price and bidding volume at different times of impressions. Finally, we design an optimized method for delivery of RTB ads through offline experiments.

Impact of job control on employee creativity: The moderating effect of cognitive irritation 工作控制对员工创造力的影响:认知刺激的调节作用

Managing employees' stress and creativity is an important part of business administration. Based on the Variation-Selection-Retention theory of creativity, this study expands the research viewpoint to the outside of job context by discussing the moderating effect of cognitive irritation on the relationship between job control and employee creativity. To test proposed model, we collected empirical data from 267 employees in Korea. The model constructed was tested with hierarchical regression. The empirical results showed that job control has a positive effect on the employee creativity; cognitive irritation as a moderator can strengthen the positive relationship between job control and employee creativity. Implications for enhancing the employees' control and guiding their irritation properly in organizations are discussed.

A research on methods and applications of case study in public administration 公共行政案例研究的方法与应用研究

Case study is a very common and important research method. It has been widely used in public administration. However, it tends to be questioned, misunderstood and misused in Chinese public administration. The scientific standard of case study method is far beyond establishment in China. In this paper, we try to explain what a case study is and how to use it scientifically, including the definition, characteristics, category, operational steps and quality criteria. We also analyze some common controversy and misunderstanding about case study in Chinese public administration, and point out that, Chinese public administrative case researchers should improve their case research skills, follow scientific procedures and requirements of case study and report case research results scientifically, as they using case study method.
案例研究是一种非常常见和重要的研究方法。它已被广泛应用于公共管理。然而,在我国的公共管理中,它往往受到质疑、误解和误用。案例研究方法的科学标准在中国还远远没有建立起来。在本文中,我们试图解释什么是案例研究,以及如何科学地使用案例研究,包括案例研究的定义、特征、类别、操作步骤和质量标准。本文还分析了我国公共行政案例研究中常见的一些争议和误解,指出我国公共行政案例研究者在运用案例研究方法的同时,应提高案例研究技能,遵循科学的案例研究程序和要求,科学地报告案例研究结果。

Study on fund performance to various measures: Evidence from UK market 不同衡量标准下的基金绩效研究:来自英国市场的证据

Both the micro ability to stock selecting and market timing are important to fund managers. Traditional measures for mutual funds performances are very sensitive with the bias, resulting from the variation of risk and risk-premium with time. In order to balance these kinds of variations, lagged public information factors may be helpful. Including short-range UK Treasury Bill (Rf) and dividend yields (DY), different fund returns are predicted with additional information. This paper empirically estimate the average performance of 68 UK close-end mutual funds invested in domestic market over a meaningful decade-period from 2000 to 2010, applying the traditional and conditioning versions of capital asset pricing model and Fama-French model. Meanwhile, Jensen's (1968) traditional strategy and conditional measure of Ferson and Schadt (1996) are involved followed by a set of time-series regressions in order to compare different measure's significance in T test and F test. The findings are that CAPM not only has higher fitness butt also decreases the minus bias of market timing when adds conditional information. However, FF models show contrast evaluation and unexpected inferior outlets based on UK mutual funds between 2000 and 2010.

The implementation of Renewable Energy policies—Wind energy electricity in Xinjiang autonomous region 可再生能源政策的实施——新疆自治区风能发电

China developed quickly and the energy needs are currently the largest worldwide. In order to build a wealthy, sustainable and harmonized society, China is in great need for reliable renewable energies. Although China has published the Law of Renewable Energy, the implementation of it meets some difficulties. The authors first introduce the current renewable energy policies, then take Xinjiang's wind energy policy implementation as an example. Xinjiang is a very resourceful province and it is one of the largest wind energy potentials of China. The development of renewable energy in Xinjiang were hampered by the decrease of interest in renewable energy due to other non-energy-related issues. This leaded to the fact that governmental officials did not focus much on the development of renewable energies and therefore renewable energy policies were not well implemented at all. Outdated facilities and techniques were other important factors that affect the implementation of renewable energy polices. The authors give some suggestions to solve the problems from this two perspectives.

The assembly task allocation method for the mass customization on modularization 基于模块化的大规模定制装配任务分配方法

According to the characteristics of mass customization assembly on modularization, the module being considered as assembly unit, and from the beginning of the task decomposition of assemblies, the conditions that the module to be the sub-assembly should meet and the principles of assembly task decomposition in the mass customization assembly on modularization are analyzed, the task allocation model based on the improved difference method is established, the model and the solving process is validated by a case. So the purpose on improving the assembly efficiency of mass customization and shortening the response time of customer demand is achieved.

Research on auditors' gender and audit fees 审计人员性别与审计费用研究

Sociology, psychology and management have a full understanding of gender behavioral differences. However, few scholars are concerned about the role and development of women in the auditing profession. In this paper, we use the listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchange from 2007 to 2010 as our sample, investigate the impact of auditors' gender on audit behavioral decisions making based on audit fees. The study finds that female-group auditors' audit fees are significantly higher than those of the nonfemale-group auditors', which may be due to female auditors' preference to take more audit procedures and use more personnel to reduce the audit risk. This conclusion has important implications on the practice of the Ministry of Finance, China Association of Certified Public Accountants, accounting firms and other institutions.

Empirical research on the influence of capital structure on profitability based on data from the pharmaceutical industry 资本结构对盈利能力影响的实证研究——基于医药行业数据

Pharmaceutical industry develops rapidly in both domestic and international markets as a profitable business. In this paper, the relationship between capital structure and profitability of listed company in the pharmaceutical industry is under discussion. In the context, we select 141 pharmaceutical industry listed companies as the research objects. Through the model and principal component analysis, we use the total score to assess profitability, then adopt multiple regression method for regression analysis. The research result shows: asset-liability ratio of listed companies is negatively correlated with the profitability in the pharmaceutical industry. The relationship between long-term asset-liability ratio and profitability is not significant. The proportion of professional major shareholders and profitability is related. Ownership concentration is positively associated with profitability. The consequence is probably conducive to regulate financing behavior in China and boost the competitiveness of enterprises. Some suggestions are submitted which help to improve listed company's ability in China's pharmaceutical industry to fight against risk. In addition, we hope it provides theoretical help for investors and other important stakeholders to make decisions. Therefore, the study of the relationship between capital structure and profitability appears to be of great significance for Chinese pharmaceutical listed companies.

A group method of symmetric triangular fuzzy numbers handling and its application to analyze monitoring data of small and micro enterprises in Sichuan Province 对称三角模糊数群处理方法及其在四川省小微企业监测数据分析中的应用

Group method of data handling has been proven an effective knowledge mining tool to emerge the influencing factors of enterprises growth in the past researches, but when employed to analyze the small and micro enterprises in Sichuan Province, its effectiveness is reduced by the noise in the data obtained from the enterprises' produce and business operations monitor platform website. In order to increase the noise immunity of the method, the monitoring data is firstly processed as some symmetric triangular fuzzy numbers in this paper, and the parameter estimation technique for all self-organized models named partial functions in the method is changed from the former regression analysis with determined training data set to the fuzzy programming with fuzzy set. Basing on this transform, a group method of the symmetric triangular fuzzy numbers handling is presented and the result of its empirical study in Sichuan Province proves the method is able to disclose some key influencing factors of the small and micro enterprises' growth with unstable and noisy monitoring data.
在以往的研究中,成组数据处理方法已被证明是一种有效的知识挖掘工具,可以揭示企业成长性的影响因素,但在对四川省小微企业进行分析时,由于企业生产经营监测平台网站上获取的数据存在噪声,降低了成长性。为了提高该方法的抗噪性,首先将监测数据处理为若干对称三角模糊数,并将该方法中所有自组织的偏函数模型的参数估计技术由原来的用确定的训练数据集进行回归分析改为用模糊集进行模糊规划。在此基础上,提出了一种对称三角模糊数处理的群方法,并在四川省进行了实证研究,结果表明该方法能够揭示监测数据不稳定、有噪声的小微企业成长的一些关键影响因素。

Job satisfaction and demission of university faculties: Important factors and age difference 大学教师工作满意度与离职:重要因素与年龄差异

Job satisfaction, an attitude studied in the organizational behavior, reveals a person's overall evaluation on his or her job. This research aims to find out the present situation of job satisfaction among the university faculties. Some important factors which lead to their dissatisfaction or tendency of demission and the age difference revealing from these issues will be included. The results reveal that among the three age groups, younger group (born in from 1980 to 1991), mid-aged group (born in from 1966 to 1979), and elder group (born in from 1954–1965), the younger the generation, the higher job satisfaction is. Self-development, self-realization, and satisfactory social interaction became the most important factors while the job's degree of the difficulty became the least important factor. The research also indicates an asymmetry in important factors of job satisfaction and of demission. At the same time, the effects of pressure and payment self-growth, self-realization, sense of dignity on job satisfaction are significantly different among the groups, which reveals a great difference among different age groups.
