System stratification is constructing its structure method in the connected layers form. Stratification is often used as a classifying or obtaining homogeneous sets method from a heterogeneous sets collection. The article examines the systems qualitative features classified according to the trinitarian dichotomy scheme. The dichotomy is based on identifying and contrasting the qualitative features of the system under study and the subsystem. The article describes the information and geoinformation systems dichotomous division basic principles using the Trinitarian opposition dichotomy principle. In a geographic information system, stratification is used additionally when organizing data. The article describes the parsing tree used in the dichotomous complexity analysis. A method for determining the system qualitative characteristics strata is shown. A criterion for assessing the system complexity is given. An information system dichotomous analysis principle application is shown on a specialized geographic information system example for maintaining an address register.

In this study the mechanical properties and corrosion behavior of both 5083 and 5086 marine aluminum alloys had been studied in the Tigris River at room temperature (23 °C) in two different distances (15 and 30 m away from the beach) at a depth of 1.5 m before and after recovery annealing. After recovery annealing at a temperature of 250 °C for a period of 45min, the corrosion resistance in both alloys had been decreased. This indicates that recovery annealing is not suitable to improve the corrosion resistance of these alloys in Tigris River. The yield, tensile stress and hardness of both alloys were decreased while the elongation increased as a result of recovery annealing. Optical microscopy indicates that these alloys will suffer from localized corrosion

The relevance of the study is due to the increase in recent years, both in Russia and abroad, in the number of computer attacks on production automation systems. One of the most dangerous classes of malware is computer worms. In this regard, this article is aimed at investigating attacks using computer worms on automated systems, assessing the damage received from their implementation and choosing ways to protect against them. As an approach to the study of this problem, methods of rationing and averaging the risk of possible damage from a computer attack are used. The article presents statistics of crimes using computer worms in the USA, China, Russia and the world, short-term forecasts are built. The materials of the article are of practical value for further forecasting of this type of attacks, caused by damage, as well as the choice of ways to counteract them in automation systems.

Earthquakes produce massive damage in the road embankment especially if the embankment based on soft subsoil, and this damage which in turn causes great economic losses for maintenance and rehabilitation. Last decades Iraq and the surrounding region faced many earthquakes where the most powerful earthquake happened in 2017 near the Iraq-Iran border specifically at “Halabjah” city. Thus engineers have been focusing on their road embankment design to sustain such earthquakes, by using piles as a foundation for the superstructure. In this research a numerical study for the piled embankment subjected to seismic excitation using three dimensional PLAXIS finite element program]. The effect of changing the pile supporting condition and the pile diameter on the embankment stability under “Halabjah” earthquake is investigated. The results shows that using piles reduces the settlement of the embankment’s crest by about 77% if the supporting condition of the piles was floating and in the case of the end bearing and anchored piles the reduction in the crest’s settlement were 88% and 94% respectively.
