Knowledge of malaria-immunity is essential for understanding the pathology, treatment & vaccine production. So, changes in CD4 in malaria patients were studied at a teaching hospital in Enugu, Nigeria. 45 patients on doctor’s provisional diagnosis of malaria were examined for Plasmodium infections and the degree of parasitaemia (0/+/ ++/ & +++). Positive/(+) and negative/(0) samples were thereafter counted for CD4 using Flow Cytometry. CD4 cell count of Plasmodium-negative specimens were within reference ranges (RR): (464-1308); mean value: 835. Fifteen (+) parasitaemia showed lower ranges of CD4 count (502-1282); mean: 678; with immune falls in one (427). 9/12 (++) parasitaemia showed crash in CD4 counts, range: 301- 415; mean: 399. Seven (+++) parasitaemia showed crashes in CD4 counts, range: 160-357; mean: 225. As parasitaemia rises, neutrophils, Total WBC and lymphocyte significantly rise in numeric. Malaria causes immunosuppression; unlike prevailing reports, should accelerate complications in immunodeficients-patients, Haemolytic-anaemia results only from chronic cases. CD4 counts should be a paradigm in malaria investigation.

This paper investigates the reliable deployment algorithm for Service Function Chains (SFC) based on deep reinforcement learning. SFC, as a chained function composition for complex network services, plays a crucial role in improving network efficiency and stability. To address the issue of existing SFC deployment algorithms that overlook the reliability of network functions and links, this paper proposes a deep reinforcement learning-based algorithm that utilizes a virtual network function and virtual link reliability mapping model for optimization. By learning the mapping between system states and actions, the algorithm can optimize the deployment strategy of SFC, thereby enhancing its reliability and performance. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can significantly improve the reliability of SFC and have practical implications for network service deployment.

With the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence technology, the landscape of network threats is continually evolving. Malicious attackers are increasingly leveraging intelligent technology to enhance their attacks, resulting in more intricate network security challenges. Among these challenges, antagonistic attacks and intelligent threats stand out, while the risk of large-scale data breaches and privacy infringements looms over both individuals and organizations. This paper proposes a set of strategies to address these pressing issues. These strategies encompass the deployment of deep learning technology, safeguarding data privacy, the dissemination of automation solutions, and the advancement of network user education. Furthermore, the importance of research into antagonistic attacks and emerging technologies, as well as the significance of international cooperation and information sharing, are underscored to ensure the resilience of network security in the face of evolving threats. This comprehensive approach serves as a valuable resource for safeguarding the information security of network users and fostering the prosperity and sustainable development of our digital society.

Inadequate supply of electricity in a country can be a major setback to the development of its economy. The subject of electricity generation, distribution and transmission has been a major issue in Nigeria and has been the center of previous research over the years due to the inadequacy of supply to the citizens of the nation. Owing to the carbon footprints left by conventional source of electricity generation, other sustainable options are being explored. Biogas been generated from municipal solid waste is a current trend in renewable energy. In this review, considering all the factors stated above, a MSW stream has been identified as a consistent source and also a widely accessible and available source that can be utilised for energy generation. In addition, it is an unwanted resource in the state, as such, will easily be accessible. Waste management practice in Nigeria seems to be unsustainable, as a result of the steady increase in the amount of waste generated on daily basis. Although, building a biogas plant could handle huge amount of waste and provide electricity to household, however, the greatest challenge to setup such facility could be in-terms of capital investment, as well as operating and maintenance cost. The best suited technology for application is anaerobic digestion of food waste, the reason for this is that most of the non-biodegradable materials are recycled by scavengers, and a consideration of the fact that Nigeria imports a greater percentage (80%) of its fertilizer from abroad, thus, application of this technology is enormous, as the by-product of the digestion process will serve as fertilizer which will be sold to farmers.

At present panniculus morbidus becomes a cause of various physical complications, such as chronic cellulitis, skin rashes, intertriginous dermatitis, subcutaneous abscesses, folliculitis, skin ulcerations, fistulas, and ischemic panniculitis. Panniculus is seemed as an apron of an extremely large fold of excess skin, tissue, and fat hanging from the abdomen below the waistline and even down to the groin. It is extremely unsightly, painful, and susceptible to various infections. It is found in people who are severely obese, after extreme weight loss (usually 100 pounds or more) through the diet, fasting, and exercise or following gastric restrictive surgery. Medicine, exercise, diet or any other mechanism cannot cure panniculus morbidus; and in this stage, bariatric surgery is needed for the welfare of the panniculus patients.

Text transcription is crucial in Chinese information processing. Text transcription has always existed since ancient times, but no matter whether it is manual transcription in ancient times or modern transcription using communication and storage devices, random errors cannot be avoided when a message has been forwarded and transcribed many times. In this paper, we study how to measure the size of differences between different versions of texts, how to estimate the number of transmissions experienced between two texts, and how to design an effective and fast algorithm for the calculation of the first two types of problems in the study of text transcription, with respect to the characteristics of text transcription. This paper proposes the concept of text similarity, constructs the TF-IDF similarity evaluation model of text, the text transmission evaluation model based on Gaussian process (i.e., GFCT Model), and the model based on the immune frog jumping algorithm to analyze the comparative processing of text, so as to achieve accurate and effective information processing, with a view to providing a new method for text data processing, and improving the accuracy and effectiveness of text data processing.

The accurate classification of transmission line faults has been a key issue in the development of smart grids. At present, fault classification is based on recurrent neural network (RNN) for temporal signals, and the development of RNN is not so mature compared with convolutional neural network (CNN). Therefore, this paper proposes a transmission line fault classification algorithm based on higher-order spectral analysis and CNN, aiming at converting the time-series signals into images and using CNN for fault classification. After establishing the fault model on Matlab/Simulink, the current signals of different faults are obtained. After processing the current signals to extract their zero-mode currents, the fault image signals are obtained using higher-order spectral analysis as the input to the CNN. Simulation results show that the proposed method can accurately identify faults with high accuracy when faults occur in transmission lines, thus reducing the economic losses caused by faults.

As the digital age continues to evolve, automated scanning of outdoor environments ushers in challenges. There are currently two main problems with outdoor mobile robot scanning: firstly, the scanning path is too long; secondly, it is easy to collide with obstacles, and this thesis will focus on the above two problems. Firstly, a topological structure graph is constructed for the outdoor scene, and the set of accessible points is obtained. The high exploration value region is first explored by the greedy algorithm, and then the ant colony algorithm is used for path planning of the general exploration value region. Secondly, we make algorithmic improvements to the ant colony algorithm by adopting a multi-trajectory path planning algorithm that allows decision makers to obtain multiple solutions, proposing a negative feedback ant colony algorithm, and introducing guidance pheromones and alert pheromones to enable the ant colony algorithm to explore with a comprehensive consideration of the effects brought about by the environment. Finally, for the algorithm proposed in this thesis, we conducted simulation experiments using point cloud map and raster method respectively, our proposed algorithm has better performance on the map, and the improved ant colony algorithm can improve the scanning range by about 4% than the original algorithm when moving the same distance.
