A study on AIDS pandemic modes of transmission and prevention 艾滋病大流行的传播方式和预防研究

AIDS, the Acquired Immuno-deficiency Syndrome sometimes called “slim disease” is a fatal illness caused by retrovirus known as the Human Immuno-deficiency Virus (HIV) is characterized by a severe reduction in CD4+ T-cells which breaks down the body’s immune system, leaving the victim vulnerable to a host of lifethreatening opportunistic infections, neurological disorders or unusual malignancies. AIDS is only the last stage in the wide spectrum of clinical features in HIV infection. HIV/AIDS is still largely a disease of MSMs that refers to as men who have sex with men and male injection drug users, but it is spreading most rapidly among women and adolescents. The virus is transmitted primarily from person to person, most frequently through sexual activity, blood contacts and from an infected mother to her foetus, through the placenta or to her infant during delivery or by breast feeding. Person infected with HIV Virus, death is a certainty but certain measures can be taken to slow down the process of infection. HIV virus thrives in certain ecological conditions. AIDS can be called our modern pandemic, affecting both industrialized and developing countries. In this paper an attempt has been made to study the common modes of transmission, prophylaxis and post-exposure prophylaxis of AIDS.

Innovative Catalyst to Produce N-Benzylaniline for Drug Applications 创新催化剂生产药物应用的n -苄基苯胺

Innovations that promote the efficient manufacture of the key ingredients in drugs are recognised in the pharmaceutical industry as conferring considerable benefits to the cost, efficacy and quality of products, thereby raising the satisfaction of the end users. We report the expedient production of N-benzylaniline (NBA) which undoubtedly demonstrates its extreme importance to manufacture several drugs for respiratory diseases (e.g. asthma, chronic, lung cancers, tuberculosis, etc.). Presently, the production of NBA is a complicated and costly process. The synthesis of NBA is dependent upon a number of raw materials and involves many steps, which adversely affects the price of the end product. Therefore, the potential gains that can be attained by developing novel materials that minimise the complexity and expense of NBA are worthy of pursuit. Therefore, the present study involves the development of novel Pd catalyst to obtain NBA in single step process. Various simple and substituted aromatic, heterocyclic and aliphatic amines were reacted with benzyl alcohol to produce their corresponding N-benzylated amines in good to excellent yields (up to 95% Yield of NBA). Noteworthy, obtained Pd-catalyst preparation has been up-scaled to kilogram scale and catalysts prepared in both small (mg and grams) and large-scale (kilograms) exhibited similar structural features and activity.

Analysis on Club Head Velocity versus Golf Handicap in Greenside Bunker 果岭沙坑球杆杆头速度与差点的关系分析

The purpose of this research study is to investigate the relationship between club head speed and golf handicap in relation to greenside bunkers. Biokin-Mobi sensor setup designed to capture three dimensional movement patterns of club head movements is employed in order to gather real time golf swing data. The angular velocity records captured during the greenside bunker shots are examined and correlated with handicaps of both skilled and amateur golfers. There is a significant difference between the club head speed of an elite and club head speed of an amateur golfers when executing greenside bunker shots. In particular, by examining peak velocities of the back and down swings, this study shows that club head speeds are valid indicators of golfers' performance measures.

Characterization of Phenolic Compounds in Peel, Pulp andSeed Fractions of Zizyphus Jujube Fruit by UFLC-PDA and Determination of Antioxidant Activity UFLC-PDA对红枣果皮、果肉和种子酚类物质的表征及抗氧化活性测定

The objective of this present study was to characterize peel, pulp and seed tissues of Zizyphus jujube, commonly known as «Jujube», to determine the total phenolic content, anthocyanin content, antioxidant activity and phenolic profile. Antioxidant potential of samples were measured with two different methods 2,2-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity and cupric reducing capacity (CUPRAC). Monomeric anthocyanin contents of the samples were determined using the pH differential method. The total phenolic content of the extracts was determined according to the Folin Ciocalteu method. Moreover, an ultra-fast liquid chromatograph (UFLC) method with photodiode array detector (PDA) was used to identify total phenolic acids (gallic acid, 3,4dihydroxybenzoic acid, catechin, chlorogenic acid, caffeinne, 4phydroxybenzoic acid, epicatechin, epigallocatechingallate, caffeic acid, vanilic acid, syringic acid, rutin, p-coumaric acid, vanilin, sinapic acid, ferulic acid, rosemarinic acid, phloridzin, myricetin, ethyl 3,4-dihydroxybenzoate, luteolin, quercetin, trans-cinnamic acid, naringenin, apigenin, kaempferol, hesperetin, ısorhamnetin, rhamnetin, ladanein, pectolinaringenin, pinostrobin) in peel, pulp and seed phenolic extracts of jujube. Total phenolic content of peel, pulp and seed were determined as 27.16±1 55, 33.74±0 60 and 10.37±0 86 mg gallic acid equivalent (GAE)/g dry weight, respectively. Antioxidant activities evaluated by DPPH were as follows 62.32±0 79, 122.63±0 92 and 15.52±0 80 mg Trolox equivalent (TE)/g dry weight, respectively. Antioxidant activities evaluated by CUPRAC were as follows 60.62±1.92, 69.91± 0.92 and 21.03±1.73 mg Trolox (TE)/g dry weight, respectively. Anthocyanin contents of the samples found as 419.97±10.89, 29.41±6.45 and 24.05±5.18 mg cyanidin 3-glucoside 100 g dry weight for peel, pulp and seed fractions, respectively. The results of UFLC analysis indicate that catechin and vanilic acid were the main phenolics in all fractions of jujube.

Analysis of The Smart Device Invention for The Detection and Repair of Asphalt Road Surface Holes 沥青路面洞洞检测与修复智能装置发明分析

Detecting, finding and repairing road surface holes is an important issue in road maintenance. This device recognizes the in-depth intelligence of the holes on the surface of the road, and the electronic control unit controls the ready and leveling operators. The main chassis is a platform with components on top of it, such as the rear-trailer, with a diesel engine. The surface height sensors located at the beginning of the chassis scan the hole information. The data processing unit calculates the depth, and volume of the hole, and adjusts the location of all cutting, blasting, special slurry, Bitumen asphalt, and flattener and roller operators to suit the location of the holes. Then ECU sends the data information to the operators in sequence. To adjust the time of injection and the amount of motion of each operator, a certain algorithm is tailored to the dimensions of the hole by the processing unit. Once the track of the asphalt road is determining by this intelligent system, the paths are detected and recorded, and all of the holes will be restored with asphalt. Using this device reduces the time, costs, number and error of operator in roads maintenance. This innovative device was recorded in Iranian patent center.

Brazilian medicine culminated in the process of technological innovation through a tool called Telemedicine, developed to shorten distances and bring the patient closer to the doctor, which provides the market with an improvement in the efficiency and speed of medical services, accessible in any location , by digital means, but the most evident problem in the task concerns the protection of sensitive data of patients, which are shared through the program among health professionals, a situation already regulated by the Federal Council of Medicine, as well as accompanied by the state councils of medicine. In terms of products created for the protection of sensitive patient data, the content of software patents (software and hardware) created for this purpose, captured from Quest Orbit, Espacenet and INPI databases.. Our courts have favorable jurisprudence for clients / patients, that is, the vulnerable part of the relationship between health plans and patients. In addition, it is also verified the analysis of a real case study, about leakage and sharing of medical data of individuals, by digital means, which has become common fact, before the growing development of social media, which are used improperly by health professionals. Thus, the present study analyzed data from various sources and objects of study (legislation, jurisprudence, patents and case study), in order to provide a complete scenario of the state of the issue regarding data protection from other areas, to the core of Telemedicine.

Biological Control of Invasive Species Mikania Micrantha with Reference to Eri Silkworm Samia Ricini Donovan 入侵种薇甘菊的生物防治——以黑蚕为例

Biological invasion is one of the major threats to the Biodiversity and Ecosystem of nature. Mikania micrantha kunth ex H.B.K. commonly known as Mile a minute is one of the 100 world’s worst alien species and pose a serious threat to biodiversity and ecosystem. In this paper the Foliar constituents of Mikania micrantha and the impact of feeding Ricinus communis fortified with different concentrations (10% to 100%) of leaf extracts of Mikania micranhta on silk quality parameter (Denier, Tenacity and Elongation) of eri silk worm have been investigated. Significantly the finer denier (1.766±0.070), higher tenacity (3.880±0.150) and lowest percentage of elongation at break (24.033±1.383) have been observed in eri silkworm fed with 40% Mikania micrantha extracts over control. Thus, Mikania micrantha a commonly available weed all over can be commercially exploited for better growth and silk yield of Eri silkworm. As the mechanical control method of Mikania are labour intensive, expensive and not effective in longer term the biological control mechanism can help in controlling its spread to new regions and conserve biodiversity.

Simultaneous Optical Scanners Obtained by the Mechanical Wave Propagation in Water 水中机械波传播获得的同步光学扫描仪

As it is well known, the light interaction with a perturbed medium by a mechanical wave provokes the diffraction phenomenon. This diffraction has been explained by Raman-Nath’s theory for sinusoidal ultrasonic wave and Mertens-Hereman’s theory for amplitude modulated (AM) ultrasonic wave. In this paper, a theoretical development has been performed of the diffraction phenomenon of a laser beam by a frequency modulated (FM) ultrasonic wave. The obtained results show that each diffracted order position oscillates periodically around a central position, in the rhythm of the modulating wave signal. Moreover, the scanning frequency of the diffraction order increases linearly according to the frequency of the modulating signal, in addition the increase in the frequency excursion leads to the increase of the angular excursion. All the theoretical results are experimentally confirmed. Furthermore, the frequency modulation index has been easily obtained with good precision using experimental measurements of a diffracted order angular excursion.

The advent of flying cars and passenger drones for urban air mobility is one of the most promising hypes in the contemporary mobility system. It is mainly caused by the proceeding urbanization and the ever-growing demand for mobility on the one hand and technological spillover effects from the automotive industry on the other hand. However, so far it is unclear whether this innovative means of transportation will be accepted and adopted by a significant proportion of the population. This paper is not a social science paper, but will give an estimate of a broader customer acceptance, preferences and willingness-to-pay for 3d mobility and delivers a list of relevant aspects for marketing flying cars and passenger drones as a product or a service.

In Vitro Study on the Effect on Iron Chelation with Added Natural Iron Chelators to the Diet 饲料中添加天然铁螯合剂对铁螯合作用的体外研究

Iron overload is rising in the world especially in industrialized countries due to heavy consumption of red meat, alcoholic drinks and iron-fortified foods. Iron chelators remove excess irons in the body and minimize the iron overload related free radical damages. The synthetic chelators used at present are expensive and result in adverse side effects. The study was conducted using in vitro models to assess the viability of dietary interventions on the removal of excess iron in the body through the incorporation of dietary iron chelators to diets as a cheap and feasible alternative treatment for control of iron overload. The fifteen (15) diet plans were formulated based on four ingredients containing natural chelators namely, red rice, fresh milk, turmeric and black tea against a control diet. The designed diets were subjected to in vitro digestion and their effect of iron chelation was assessed through ferrozine assay. The diet plan containing turmeric showed the highest iron chelation ability (94.47±0.47%) closely followed by the diet plan containing turmeric, fresh milk and black tea (92.58 ±0.89%). Thus, the study concluded that the incorporation of natural iron chelators significant increase the in vitro iron chelation ability (p value<0.05) and that turmeric alone or combinations of turmeric, fresh milk and black tea could be used for possible dietary intervention to control iron overload related complications.
