The learning outcomes of class X IPS 1 students in the Biology subject, Ecosystem material, are still not satisfactory. Of the 35 students, 30 students (86%) scored below the KKM. This is the background for Classroom Action Research (CAR). The Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) method is used in this CAR to improve learning outcomes and student activity. The research subjects were 35 students of class X IPS 1 Academic Year 2018/2019, consisting of consisting of 19 male students and 16 female students. The results showed as many as 54% of students scored above the KKM in cycle I, and as many as 86% of students scored above the KKM in cycle II. From these data it can be concluded that the STAD Learning Model can increase student activity and learning outcomes in Biology learning, especially Ecosystem material in class X IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Ciampea. Hasil belajar siswa kelas X IPS 1 dalam mata pelajaran Biologi, materi Ekosistem, masih belum memuaskan. Dari 35 siswa, sebanyak 30 siswa (86%) memperoleh nilai di bawah KKM. Hal ini menjadi latar belakang dilakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). This study aims to identify the improvement of students' creative thinking skills through the Project Based Learning model. The method used was a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest one group design. In this case the test before treatment and after treatment was used and did not use the comparison class. The research subjects were 36 students of class XI IPS 2 in the 2019/2020 academic year, with research material on balanced nutrition practices. The research data obtained came from the analysis of the observation sheet during the learning process and the description questions in the pretest-posttest. The data collected were analyzed using the percentage technique and processed descriptively. From the analysis process, it was shown that there were differences in students' creative thinking skills before and after being treated with PjBL. There is an increase in the percentage of all indicators of creative thinking skills consisting of flexibility, fluency, originality and elaboration. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Poject Based Learning learning model can improve students' creative thinking skills in balanced nutrition practice activities.

Black soldier maggot (Hermetia sp.) has a good prospective as protein alternative fish feed. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of feeding Black soldier fly maggot on Clarias sp cultivation. The method used in this research was an experimental method with hypothesis testing using a randomized block design. It consisted of two treatments and 5 replications. Moreover, the parameter observed in this study were the length of Clarias sp. and weight of Clarias sp. Based on the research hypothesis testing using one-way ANOVA calculation, the length of Clarias sp. obtained f count 53.4, weight Clarias sp . It was obtained f count 3576.04, while f table 3.88. It states that, f count more than f table on length and weight of Clarias sp. Based on the average analysis, it is found that giving Black soldier fly maggot feed gives the best results because it has the highest average results.

The leaves ofciplukan (Physalis angulata L.) are rich in polyphenols, alkaloids, and flavonoids which are reported to havequite good antimicrobial activity. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of ethanol extract ofciplukan leaves and stalks mouthwash on Streptococcus mutans bacteria. This rese arch method is purelylaboratory experimental using Streptococcus mutans bacteria culture. The antibacterial power test used theliquid dilution method which was then followed by solid dilution with an incubation period of 28 ° C. Thestatistical analysis test used a descriptive test. The results showed that the ethanol extract of the leaves andstems of ciplukan (Physalis angulata L.) had a minimum inhibitory level (MIC) and a minimum kill rate(MBC) at the same concentration, namely 15%. This research was a Quasy research experiment. This study aimed to determine the differences in Problem Solving Abilities (KPM) using Discovery Learning models and Conventional learning models. The study was conducted in March-October 2018. The population in this study was class X in one of the private high schools in Bogor Regency 2017/2018 academic year. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling techniques. The sample for the experimental class was class X MIPA B treated by using the Discovery Learning learning model with a total of 40 students and class X MIPA A being treated using a conventional learning model with 40 students with instruments to solved problems (KPM). Based on the results of the t test shows that there are differences in problem solving abilities between students who learn to use the Discovery Learning model and Conventional learning models. Discovery Learning class groups are higher than Conventional class groups, this can be seen from the average N-Gain score of problem solving abilities in the Discovery Learning class can be use 50 and Conventional class groups of 42. Therefore, the Discovery Learning learning model used in biodiversity material to improve students' biological problem solving capability.

This research is motivated by several interviews with leadership of Mafazah Moderen Islamic Boarding School, several problems regarding the performance of teachers conveyed by the Head of the Islamic Boarding School as informants, including, there are still many teachers who are less disciplined with working hours that have been determined by the staffing department, sometimes in the schedule of admission. Work still late and when the time runs out, the teacher always waits for orders and lacks initiative in work, many teachers complain about the leadership of the head in paying attention to teachers personally, the ineffective use of the facilities provided to support work teachers, many complaints about the current compensation system and the reason for compentation are factors that reduced teacher performance. This study was conduated to determine the effect of transformational leadership and compentation on teacher performance at Mafazah Moderen Islamic Boarding School. The number samples use in this study were 140 respondents, using simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression. The result show that transformational leadership has an effect on performance, these result are in line with Alzoraki, Rahman and Mutholib (2020), Yeni and Wote (2019, Cahyanu (2018). The result show that compentation has an effect the performance of the results of this study in line with research from Wekesa and Nyaroo MA (2015), Nursakinah (2015), and Ekawati (2018). The result of the analysis show that transformational leadership and compentation have an effect on performance simultaneously. The reslt of this study are in linewith Rismawati and Saly (2018) wich state that transformational leadership and compensation have positive and significabt effect on performance

Science education in the 21st century including biology learning at the level of Junior High School requires a more contextual implementation. Environmental learning topics such as green consumerism is a contextual topic in biology learning. Students must have high Pro-Environmental Behavior (PEB) to participate in protecting the environment. The purpose of this study was to measure the PEB of students at the 7th-grade level. The research method used descriptive with survey data collection techniques. The study was conducted in November-December 2018 at State Junior High School 1 South Tambun, West Java, Indonesia. A total sample of 135 students in 7th grade was selected by simple random sampling. The results showed there were six PEB indicators based on Green Consumerism that were Energy Conservation (86.37), Transportation (56.67), Waste Avoidance (53.04), Daily Consumption (64.44), Recycling (58.89), Social Behavior (60.54). Among the six indicators, only energy conservation was categorized as very high, while the others are categorized as moderate. This study concluded that PEB students must be improved by various models, methods, and media in biology learning.Keywords: Environmental learning, green consumerism, pro-environmental behavior

The research method used descriptive with survey data collection techniques. The study was conducted in November-December 2018 at State Junior High School 1 South Tambun, West Java, Indonesia. A total sample of 135 students in 7th grade was selected by simple random sampling. The results showed there were six PEB indicators based on Green Consumerism that were Energy Conservation (86.37), Transportation (56.67), Waste Avoidance (53.04), Daily Consumption (64.44), Recycling (58.89), Social Behavior (60.54). Among the six indicators, only energy conservation was categorized as very high, while the others are categorized as moderate. AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan jenis Research and Development model Four-D yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret hingga Juni 2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media ajar e-booklet yang mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi siswa pada materi plantae. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI- MIPA 2 di salah satu SMA di Kota Bogor dengan jumlah 36 orang siswa. Uji coba terbatas pada penelitan ini menggunakan one group pretest-postest design. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari lembar validasi ahli, instrumen pilihan ganda dan lembar angket respon siswa terhadap e-booklet. Berdasarkan hasil validasi yang meliputi aspek format, aspek isi, dan aspek bahasa diperoleh rata-rata nilai sebesar 93% termasuk kategori valid dan layak untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran. Hasil nilai N-gain pretest dan postest menunjukan kriteria sedang yakni 55%. Hasil rat-rata Pretest sebelum menggunakan media ajar e-booklet yaitu 52 dengan kategori hasil belajar kurang dan hasil rata-rata Postest setelah menggunakan media ajar e-booklet sebesar 79 dengan kategori hasil belajar yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Android pada materi sintesis protein untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa pada aspek kognitif. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development dengan desain Four D. Penelitian melibatkan 3 orang validator dan 72 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu lembar validasi ahli materi, lembar validasi ahli media, lembar validasi guru biologi, dan soal tes pilihan ganda pada materi sintesis protein. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi media pembelajaran berbasis Android pada materi sintesis protein rata-rata sebesar 93% dengan kategori Sangat Layak. Kompetensi siswa meningkat dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis Android pada materi sintesis protein, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji Mann Whitney. Berdasarkan hasil, penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Android pada materi sintesis protein dapat meningkatkan kompetensi siswa. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian lanjutan sebaiknya dilakukan uji coba pada skala luas dengan jumlah siswa yang lebih banyak agar didapatkan data yang lebih akurat.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari keanekaragaman Echinodermata di Pantai Seupang dan menyusun media booklet dari hasil inventarisasi keanekaragaman Echinodermata. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari-Juli 2020, menggunakan metode eksplorasi dengan teknik purposive sampling, menggunakan tiga stasiun pada titik yang paling mewakili untuk diteliti. Data yang diambil berupa data primer (jumlah spesies dari filum Echinodermata di dalam setiap stasiun) dan data lingkungan berupa pH, salinitas, suhu, dan kuat arus dan substrat. Berdasarkan penelitian ditemukan enam spesies dari tiga kelas yaitu Ophiuroidea, Echinoidea dan Holothuroidea. Indeks kemerataan tergolong sedang dengan nilai rata-rata 0,52 dan indeks dominansi tergolong sedang dengan nilai rata-rata 0,54. Sementara indeks keanekaragaman di Pantai Seupang tergolong rendah dengan rata-rata nilai 0,88. Hal ini berarti Echinodermata yang ditemukan di Pantai Seupang tergolong merata dan tidak ada spesies yang mendominasi antar spesies satu dengan yang lainnya. Hasil validasi kelayakan media booklet menunjukkan bahwa booklet layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran biologi pada materi kingdom animalia. Kata kunci: Echinodermata, booklet, kingdom animalia
