A verse of the Qur’an commends the covering of aurat to maintain honor for women is stated in QS al-Nur [24]: 31. However, there is a distortion of the main message which contradicts the verse with the emerging phenomena of jilboobs among women both teenagers and adults. The approach used in this study was qualitative with a literature review method. The hermeneutical approach of ma'na cum maghza was employed to interpret QS al-Nur [24]: 31. The study revealed that the historical significance of this verse is the ethics of socializing for women in its socio-cultural sphere. In addition, the verse QS. al-Nur [24]: 31 is also a proposition that prohibits the phenomenon of jilboobs. Meanwhile, its dynamic significance, first, not to see photo and watch video uploads of aurat expose as a ghadd al-bashr practice. Second, not commiting immorality by avoiding virtual sex such as sex video calls. Third, QS al-Nur [24]: 31 is also the basis for the prohibition of flexing behavior and the exhibition of personal property and wealth in the social media and social media.

Humans never know the time of their death because life and death are Allah's provisions. However, death has causes such as disease, war, etc. This fact proves that Allah does not act arbitrarily on His creatures. Ironically, there are deaths caused by suicide both by self and by medical procedures for certain reasons, namely euthanasia. Suicide is mentioned four times in the Qur'an surah al-Nisā': 29, al-Baqarah: 53, al-Baqarah: 85, and al-Nisā': 66. This research used a qualitative approach, the library research method by collected several literature sources such as books, journals, and previous scientific research that discussed euthanasia. The Maqāsidy Tafsir method was applied to study verses regarding euthanasia to derive wisdom from a verse. The results pointed out that the verses of suicide from the Tafsir Maqāsid perspective provide two understandings, first is the prohibition of suicide in surah al-Nisā': 53 and second is the suicide order in surah al-Baqarah: 53. The suicide command is in the context of repentance, as happened to the people of the Prophet Mūsa. The suicide prohibition is the wisdom of Allah to signify His majesty that only Him has the right to bring humans to life and death. Eventually, this verse also has a contradiction with the euthanasia case.

It is profoundly noteworthy to uncover the meaning and purpose of the story in the literature scope, compared to merely recognize its figure, storyline, time and place perspective. Like the story in the Quran which occasionally has a complicated plot and is partially understood. This study aims to answer two issues, there were Karun story portrait in the Quran and the theoretical application of maqāṣid al-Qur՛ān of Yūsuf al-Qarḍawĭ in revealing the messages within Karun story. This study inferred that the Karun story in the Quran disembogued to some of the main objectives of the Quran as stated by Yūsuf al-Qarḍawĭ. There are four of seven maqāṣid al-Qur՛ān which are relevant to the Karun Story as follows: (1) the call of faith; (2) worship; (3) soul purification; and (4) guarantee of the others’ property. These four maqāṣid al-Qur՛ān are the most essential elements related faith.

Al-Quran is a Muslim holy book that serves as a way of life as well as an authoritative source of Sharia in social life, with the meaning of the Quran verses continuing to change. The theoretical and practical potential of developmental relationship between the meaning of each Qur’anic verse reading is worth exploring. In terms of theory, the Quran would be subjected to an understanding reconstruction. It will continue to be developed with diverse information and sharing techniques. The practical study of the Quran, on the other hand, is concerned with how the Qur’an passages might be comprehended and applied in daily life. In this study, the reality of the community’s interaction with the Qur’an was directly assessed, particularly in Pondok Pesantren ISC Aswaja Lintang Songo. The mujahadah community use Quranic verses as incantation which is believed having magical and mystical energy. For the people, Qur’an recitation during mujahadah contains values which cannot be stated but can only be felt by those who implement it. As a result, the verses of the Qur'an live in society based on their perception and appreciation.

Al-Qur'an is a way of life for Muslims. As a way of life, the Qur'an is used as a reference in dealing with various problems of life, including the means to achieve the goals of human life. This means that the Qur'an is used as a tool to achieve this goal. Of course, as a tool, the Qur'an is only positioned as an object and humans are the subject. How do humans treat the Qur'an? This paper tries to explain the various expressions and interactions that occur between the Qur'an and humans in achieving their life goals. The results of this study found that there are at least there are at least three kinds of expressions and interactions that occur, namely: textualist, contextualist, and practical.

This researcher discusses the meaning of nisyān in the Al-Qur'an by using the semiotic analysis of Charles Sanders Perice. This library research used the mauḏû'î (thematic) method by collecting verses which are derivation of the word nisyān. Descriptive analysis was used to describe the data on the interpretation of the Al-Qur'an through the semiotic analysis of Charles Sanders Peirce. Semiotic Charles' theory is famous for his trichotomy; sign, object, and interpretant. This research revealed, based on the object, the meaning of nisyān are things that are intentional in the form of Aqidah. Substantially, all forms of objects are human intentional elements which God will judge against humans. The result of Charles Sanders Peirce's semiosis by placing the word nisyān as a representative that is qualisign in the form of an initial sign related to objects (sinsigns) in the form of things that are intentional by humans related to aqidah, resulting in the interpretant "Forgetting things that are intentional by humans related to aqidah is showing a connection with self-awareness” which in this process is called legisign.

This studi emphasize the importance of the concept of marriage that is tied up in an agreement, in the form of an ijab qobul which is made by a man before Allah witnessed is by the guardian’s parents of the woman he married. This research is based on the increasing number of divorces that occur in people’s live due to thw lack of understanding of the true nature of couple’s marriage. Therefore, the author considers that it is necessary to actualize the meaning of marriage which is implied in the bonds of divine commitment ( mitsoqon ghaliza). This study conclude that the marriage of divine commitment (mitsaqon gholiza) contained the interpretation of al-misbah and thabari is not only looking at the biological purpose in a maeeiage but rather the responsibility in a marriage by fulfilling the rights and obligations of each and creating harmonious relationship in order to achieve the saknah mawaddah warohmah family in the househould. So that the agreement can not be played because it will affect human life hereafter. Thistype of research use qualitative and research data comes from the library while the primary source data comes from the libarary while the primary source in this study is the interpretation of Ath-thabari and Al-misbah. The method used I the research in library ( libarary research) the data analysis method used in this research is descriptive analysis.

Scientific interpretation is a controversial interpretation typology. The background of the emergence of this typology is a reflection of the science development which aims to understand the texts of the Qur'an in a more comprehensive way. An example of scientific interpretation that has appeared in the mosaic of interpretation in Indonesia is the interpretation of Surah Yasin in Madurese language by Muhammad Irsyad. The purpose of reviewing the interpretation of Muhammad Irsyad's work entitled Tapseer Sorat Yaasin because there has been a debate about scientific interpretation and to explore Muhammad Irsyad's thoughts in Tapseer Sorat Yaasin, considering that not many Madurese people know about this work. Other relevant resources were also used to analyze the contents of Tapseer by Muhammad Irsyad. The study results found that scientific interpretation is employed in the Tapseer Sorat Yaasin. In addition, Irsyad wants to denote readers that scientific theories had been explained in the Qur'an long before Western scientific discoveries.

Al-Qur'an has an important position in Islamic studies, beyond its function as a guidance, Holy Qur'an also functioned to be a differentiator. In interpreting hermeneutics, this is a form of interpretation method which in its operation is used to derive conclusions about the meaning of a text or verse. According to Amina Wadud, there is no truly objective method of interpreting the Qur'an. Each commentator sets several subjective choices. In Islamic studies, there are several approaches offered by intellectuals to get the moral message of Islam as a religion that has a gender perspective. Here the author attempt to discuss several examples of Amina Wadud's interpretation with her hermeneutical model regarding the issue of women's rights and roles. The aim is to evaluate the extent to which the position of women in Muslim culture has truly reflected the meaning of Islam regarding women in society. In addition, the specific goal is to demonstrate the ability to adapt the worldview of the Qur'an to women's issues according to the modern context. The author argues that the ultimate purpose of the theory is to build a harmony among of Islamic teaching: law, ethics, and theology, each of which has to support one another.

The study of living Qur'an is one of the studies in the form of scientific research on social events in the Muslim community by positioning the Qur'an as the main behavior and actions in daily life. From there, it will be seen how they react continuously and live up to the values of the al-Qur'an in their community. The study of the Living Qur'an appears as a phenomenon of the Qur'an in everyday life, namely the function and meaning of the Qur'an is understood and practiced by the Muslim community in real terms in everyday life. Unlike the study of the Koran which only focuses on the al-Qur'an as an object of study that focuses on the textuality of the Qur'an it self, while the living Al-Qur'an is more focused on the way people position the Qur'an. In his daily life. One example of this living Qur'an practice is the tradition of Free Lunch after Friday prayers at the Jogokariyan Mosque. In this tradition, the Muslim community tries to live up to the value of sodaqoh contained in the Al-Qur'an surah al-Baqarah verse 261. This tradition emerged in the community as a form of social tradition with the aim of providing assistance in the form of free lunch (free lunch) to Friday congregation.
