The dynamic behaviour of a Leslie-Gower model with a Holling type-IV function response and nonlinear predator harvesting was examined in this study. The maturation delay refers to the predators’ ability to harvest prey once they reach a certain age. Qualitative analysis, bifurcation theory, bionomic equilibrium, MSY, and the best harvesting policy have all been used to study the model system. We provide an explanation for the delay-dependent and locally persistent asymptotic nature of the interior equilibrium. Regarding the maturation delay, the age-selective harvesting system experiences a Hopf-bifurcation. A unique control’s path has been determined using Pontryagin’s maximal principle after environments for the MSY and the existence of bionomic equilibrium have been examined.

: Odisha is one among the tribal states of eastern India, and home to numerous tribal communities having unique cultures, languages, customs, and traditional practices. The food culture of tribal communities is closely interlinked with their customary practices, lifestyles and beliefs. It plays a significant role in their overall well being, nutrition, and cultural identity. This review gives insights on how nutrition is interlinked and viewed in the prospective of tribal food culture in the tribal communities of Odisha.

The study sets out to investigate the relationship between perceived transformational leadership of academic leaders and affective commitment of teachers and the citizenship behavior of teachers embedded in a culture of self-efficacy. A structured self-administered questionnaire consisting of well-validated pre-existing scales was used for collecting data from teachers of higher education institutions in the state of Odisha. The data were analyzed using a two-stage structural equation modeling. The measurement model validates the measurement theory followed by path analysis that tests relational hypotheses between the variables under study. The results indicate that transformational leadership and teacher affective commitment are positively associated with teacher citizenship behavior. Further, the results also indicate that self-efficacy of the teacher moderates the relationship between affective commitment and citizenship behavior in such as way that when self-efficacy of the teacher is higher, the relationship gets strengthened. Limitations and directions for future research are also discussed in the paper.

It is almost 45 years since the mission Dry Flower started at CSIR-NBRI. Technology packages and an appreciable amount of literature have been developed on almost all aspects of dry flowers. Dehydration technology has been standardized and simplified in such a way that cultivated seasonal vegetations (flowers and leaves), unsold and used fresh flowers, and seasonal wild/unutilized/underutilized plant species can be converted into value-added products. The collection of these vegetations will not create an imbalance in nature. The technology will help proper judicial utilization of natural resources to prepare value-added products. It is now very important to evaluate the results related to the commercial exploitation of the technology. The literature survey indicates that the quantum of work towards the development of the technology package is very satisfactory. It is now very important to choose the correct path to escalate dry flower technology to industrial status. . A cottage-scale industry based on floral craft can come up for self-employment of unemployed youths and for earning money the housewives as well as rural women through creative occupation.
