Application of Analytic Hierarchy Process Considering Artificial Neural Network and ARIMA for Selecting a Chemical Waste Plant 基于人工神经网络和ARIMA的层次分析法在化工废物处理厂选择中的应用

This study defines the best model for a chemical waste plant where the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and the Integrated Auto Regressive Moving Average Model (ARIMA) were applied as tools for predicting future maintenance cost data. These methods were applied together considering the criteria as follows: plant size, process cost, treatment flexibility, environmental safety and maintenance cost. For this, a decision-making model was developed using the Hierarchical Analysis Method (AHP) with which the company can decide from three alternatives of waste plant models. As a result, the recommendation and solution provide by the multicriteria method was the choice of the alternative 3 of a waste center. This solution indicated the best alternative considering the criteria selected by the company and also the data from RNA and ARIMA In this case, the model presented an index above 70% both in the final aggregation and in the sensitivity analysis.

Lean Manufacturing como Estratégia Competitiva de Produção 精益制造作为一种有竞争力的生产战略

Num ambiente globalizado e competitivo, e de interesse das organizacoes alinharem seus recursos dentro de estrategias definidas objetivando melhores resultados. A Manufatura Enxuta e uma abordagem utilizada para maximizacao de resultados das empresas, sendo considerada por alguns autores como um elemento de apoio para atingir a estrategia competitiva das empresas e por outros como uma estrategia competitiva em si. Esse artigo apresenta um estudo sobre o uso da Manufatura Enxuta como elemento de apoio a definicao de estrategia das empresas. Foram avaliados, por meio de uma pesquisa bibliometrica, artigos de periodicos das bases de dados Scopus e Web of Science entre os anos de 2010 a 2020. Do total de artigos pesquisados foram selecionados 21 artigos para o estudo. O objetivo foi avaliar a percepcao de autores mais recentes sobre o uso da Manufatura Enxuta como uma estrategia de producao e operacao, associando a mesma aos criterios competitivos de custo, qualidade, prazo de entrega e flexibilidade. Os resultados apresentam as particularidades na implementacao do modelo enxuto em empresas de diferentes portes, alem das relacoes entre os criterios competitivos e o conceito de pacotes lean. Liderança na Implementação da Produção Enxuta (Lean Production) 领导实施精益生产(精益生产)

Com a necessidade constante de que as empresas se tornem mais competitivas, a implementacao da producao enxuta vem sendo cada vez mais necessaria. No entanto, a literatura atual destaca que existem inumeros fatores ligados ao processo de implementacao. Diante disso, o presente estudo busca identificar os principais fatores que merecem a atencao dos lideres para obter sucesso nesse processo. O metodo utilizado recorre a pesquisa bibliografica baseada em: Producao Enxuta, Lideranca Lean e Implementacao Enxuta. Os dados utilizados sao provenientes das bases Emerald, Scopus e Web Science no periodo de 5 anos, de 2014 a 2019. Este estudo concentrou-se em organizacoes de diferentes portes, niveis de maturidade e segmentos, alem do setor automotivo. A analise das variaveis encontradas na literatura tem o intuito de ensejar a formacao de uma estrutura unica de abordagem do processo de implementacao da producao enxuta para diferentes organizacoes. Acredita-se que a estrutura resultante, desenvolvida neste estudo, seja capaz de promover melhor compreensao e aplicacao pratica do processo em geral. Por: (1) oferecer suporte a lideres na implementacao da producao enxuta, (2) contribuir na orientacao em relacao a capacitacao de lideres, e (3) orientar a lideranca em direcao a sensibilizacao das pessoas para o processo de mudanca. Por outro lado, recomenda-se a estudos futuros testar a estrutura desenvolvida em empresas de diferentes culturas, tamanhos, segmentos e niveis de maturidade, bem como alterar o tamanho da amostra e realizar refinamentos na estrutura que possam ser evidenciados. http://dx.doi.org/10.18226/23185279.v9iss1p16

IoT and knowledge Economy: Two Strong Pillars of Industry 4.0 物联网和知识经济:工业4.0的两大支柱

The Industry 4.0 concept incorporates technologies from a wide range of domains and this inevitably requires massive changes in processes of innovation, production, logistics and services. Such innovations and transformations cannot be impelled in practice without the support of a tool known as Internet of Things or simply IoT. The objective of this research is to present an overview on two strong and influential pillars of Industry 4.0, which are the IoT and the knowledge economy. For several authors who have dedicated themselves to the study of the fourth industrial revolution, IoT is considered an indispensable pillar for the implementation of the concepts of the referred industrial revolution. However, it has not been common in the literature to see references correlating the almost inherent relationship that exists between IoT and the knowledge economy. In summary, it is possible to state that the greater the valuation and investments directed towards the knowledge economy, the better the quality of the operation of the emerging technique or mechanism known as IoT. From the perspective of industry 4.0 concepts, both the IoT and the knowledge economy have strong beneficial influences on industrial production organizations. Still according to the information compiled in this research, the knowledge economy can be seen as the great asset in favor of ensuring the employability of qualified professionals for all kinds of organizations of an industrial nature. http://dx.doi.org/10.18226/23185279.v9iss1p010

Aplicação de tecnologias habilitadoras da Indústria 4.0 para auxiliar a rastreabilidade industrial na Manufatura de Cabos Elétricos 应用工业4.0技术支持电缆制造中的工业可追溯性

Cabos eletricos sao necessarios para garantir a transmissao da energia eletrica da fonte ate a carga. A maioria destes cabos exigem certificacoes, devido a aplicacao e seguranca requerida. Um dos entraves na obtencao destas certificacoes, e a rastreabilidade do produto quanto a sua manufatura, onde existem documentos normatizando as etapas do processo, que acabam sendo negligenciadas, por aqueles que tem a responsabilidade de informar o que, quando e como cada etapa foi realizada. Nesse sentido, este estudo tem por objetivo demonstrar a criacao de um processo de rastreabilidade, utilizando sistemas da industria 4.0 para auxilio em tarefas de manufatura de cabos eletricos, exibindo informacoes sobre o produto e a sequencia de passos que deve ser seguida para que rastreabilidade seja obtida de forma assertiva, promovendo assim evidencias para o atendimento do requisito na certificacao do produto e do sistema de gestao da qualidade empregado. Para a coleta de dados e utilizado um sistema informatizado e dispositivos moveis, etiquetas com QR Codes, que juntos compreendem desde a concepcao inicial da manufatura dos cabos eletricos, passando por todas as etapas de fabricacao, com controles da producao (MES), ate os ensaios de liberacao do produto aprovado, quando podemos obter todas informacoes de rastreabilidade. http://dx.doi.org/10.18226/23185279.v9iss1p01

Modelo de maturidade aplicado à células de soldagem robotizada: uma proposta baseada no modelo CMMI 应用于机器人焊接单元的成熟度模型:基于CMMI模型的建议

The high competitiveness of the industry today makes the search for modernization and improvement in processes become fundamental. The automation of welding processes offers numerous benefits for companies, ranging from higher productivity and welding consistency to lower costs for production, labor and materials, safety and quality. Industry 4.0 proposes to make the industry even more automated, so that machines equipped with sensors will be able to communicate with each other and thus make the process even more efficient and allow for real-time monitoring of what occurs in the welding process, also providing that the machine or robot is the process quality inspector. In view of this, it is noticed that barriers arise so that automated welding projects do not reach the expected result due to internal and external aspects. A maturity model is a way to assess how skillful a company is to manage and implement its projects, this means that it enables the identification of the maturity level and, thus, helps the company to define the best path for full success of the project is achieved. Among all the models that help in the assessment of maturity, CMM can be considered as its firstborn. There are several ways to validate a maturity model, including the one proposed in this article, through the evaluation of specialists in the field of robotic welding and users of the systems. The validation of this model was successful because, as proposed, all the average scores obtained were above 3. As a main result, this work presents a maturity model focused on robotic welding cells, which is a gap in the existing literature.

Development of an evaporative cooler system applied to the air conditioning of urban buses 应用于城市客车空调的蒸发冷却器系统的研制

Air conditioning for buses is an important incentive tool for the public transport, since it offers comfort to passengers and stimulates the use of this kind of transport which is fundamental to improve urban mobility. Currently, air conditioning equipment for buses is the mechanical vapor compression (MVC) type. However, this kind of system has two main disadvantages: the high financial cost and power consumption by the vehicle engine. The purpose of this study is to develop an evaporative cooler for buses, which is a simple, environmental friendly, low-cost solution that does not use engine power for its operation. The first step was the design and construction of the prototype. The following step was to evaluate the built prototype through performing experimental tests. The prototype presented a saturation efficiency of approximately 70%, airflow rate of 421.5 m³/h and energy consumption of 98.4 W. After determining the prototype technical characteristics, the evaporative cooling system was developed for an urban bus, seeking to meet the air renewal required by ANSI/ASHRAE standard 62.1 and to promote the passenger’s thermal comfort as specified by ISO 7730 and ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 55. The thermal comfort provided by the new cooling system was evaluated through the PMV-PPD indexes. A value of 0.35 was obtained for the PMV index and the PPD index obtained a value of 7, indicating that approximately 93% of the passengers will be satisfied regarding their thermal comfort for the established environmental conditions. The evaporative cooling system had a total energy consumption of approximately 0.4 kW, which represents only 5% of the energy that would be consumed by a MVC system. Therefore, the evaporative cooling performance depends on the climatic conditions of the environment, especially humidity. However, when applied in favorable conditions (low humidity), the evaporative cooling system proved to be a viable solution to replace the MVC systems in buses air-conditioning application, where its main advantage is its positive cost-benefit and energy savings.

O problema em questão conta com quatro possíveis localidades, e para cada, avalia-se seis diferentes critérios. As ferramentas apresentadas neste artigo demonstram-se eficientes e úteis do ponto de vista metodológico, uma vez que vários trabalhos já comprovaram a sua eficácia. Abstract It is a characteristic of modern industry, the constant search for more productivity, agility, innovation and speed in its processes. And to sum up, the expression Industry 4.0, which includes technologies for automation, data exchange, internet of things, cloud computing and concepts of cyber-physical systems, seeks to facilitate the vision of intelligent factories. However, when there is still no industry installed or when it is desired to expand the facilities, this important decision must be made taking several factors into account. Executives commonly find it difficult to provide technical justifications when they are tasked with defining the location of the industrial facility. This type of decision can be extremely important for the health of the enterprise, and it is essential to have the greatest possible assertiveness in the choice. In order to model the uncertainty of human preference, this article aimed to present the application of the AHP method combined with the Fuzzy Logic applied to a problem of defining a location for an industrial installation. The problem in question has four possible locations, and for each, six different criteria are evaluated. The tools presented in this article prove to be efficient and useful from a methodological point of view, since several works have already proved their effectiveness.

Aplicação de simulação computacional para validar o balanceamento de uma linha de produção: estudo de caso em uma empresa do ramo metal-mecânico 应用计算机模拟验证生产线平衡:以金属机械公司为例进行研究

A dificuldade encontrada pelas empresas em ajustar seus processos industriais devido a variacao da demanda que o mercado impoe, requer flexibilidade no ajuste de suas linhas produtivas. Esses movimentos nao desejados pelas organizacoes fazem-nas encontrar a melhor configuracao de suas linhas produtivas, dispondo seus postos de trabalho de maneira que sejam equilibrados entre si, gastando o mesmo tempo para desenvolver as atividades definidas para os mesmos. Diante desta perspectiva, o artigo aborda o balanceamento das atividades operacionais em uma industria do ramo metal-mecânico, combinada com a simulacao computacional. O principal intuito do trabalho e obter um modelo capaz de atender a meta de eficiencia da planta fabril. Para isso, sao considerados diferentes tipos de produtos e 26 postos de trabalho. A utilizacao da simulacao computacional permitiu encontrar os pontos em que o fluxo produtivo apresentava restricao ou bloqueava o avanco da linha. Com o termino da simulacao verificou-se tambem, que em determinados postos de trabalho a eficiencia meta estipulada pela organizacao nao era atingida. Outro fator determinante, relacionado a mao de obra chegou-se a conclusao que, no processo geral, o numero de operadores era o suficiente, porem existiam pontos de desequilibrio entre os postos de trabalho, onde, em alguns havia excessos de funcionarios, que, por consequencia, faltava mao de obra em outras estacoes de trabalho. http://dx.doi.org/10.18226/23185279.v8iss2p187
