Design of an energy efficient Iot enabled smart system based on DALI network over MQTT protocol 基于MQTT协议的DALI网络的节能物联网智能系统设计

The term “Internet of Things” or “IoT” refers to a hot and virgin area that is gaining importance day by day with increasing advancement in technology. With the help of micro-controllers like Arduino and microcomputers like Raspberry Pi, cheap devices can be used to measure sensor data and send it over the internet. Also, DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) is a new module of communication between the electrical equipment and a server or computer that will result in an effective realization of a smart-grid. This paper covers the communication of a DALI network of a group of lights with a Raspberry Pi (broker) over MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) protocol keeping the concept of IoT in the background. This method proved to optimize electricity usage by optimal controlling the intensity of LEDs at various floors of the CDAC smartbuilding.

Study on indoor environmental comfort based on improved PMV index 基于改进PMV指数的室内环境舒适性研究

The study of indoor environmental comfort is to ensure that the human body feel comfortable as the goal, while meeting the requirements of energy saving and consumption reduction. The paper is based on the index of PMV was proposed by Professor Fanger, and to be improved and increased two environmental parameters, as indoor video and the number of indoor CO2 concentration parameter., The research method of indoor environmental comfort is put forward in the paper. The improved PMV index by BP neural network established calculation model, through multi sensors on the indoor environment parameters of monitoring data, and indoor environment comfort experiment. The experimental results show that the improved PMV index is more real-time and accurate to reflect the indoor environmental comfort than traditional PMV index.

Statistical optimization of radial vectors for pattern reconstruction/retrieval 面向模式重建/检索的径向矢量统计优化

The size of radial vector for a given pattern increases as the pattern size increases due to increased perimeter of pattern under test. The pattern can be ideally reconstructed using all the radial vectors. However, the vector size may be optimized in order to reconstruct the pattern of the same quality as in an ideal case. In the presented work, the radial vector size is optimized using the statistical analysis of radii profile based on standard deviation, area and perimeter. The reconstructed pattern is approximated to its maximum towards the original pattern by maintaining the standard deviation, area and perimeter. The radii profile in each quadrant is used to get the extremes and figure aspect of the pattern. All the radii are computed about the centre of mass of the pattern under test.

Internet of Things and its applications in E-learning 物联网及其在网络学习中的应用

Internet of Things (IoT) refers to technological advancements in the networking with the help of which real world objects can be connected to communicate with each other over the internet. The objects that are connected are known as ‘things’. This interconnection of various things over the internet with the capability of sending and receiving information has a wide number of applications in almost every field like healthcare, business, transportation, agriculture, management and education. This paper will discuss about the Internet of Things (IoT) in general, some of its applications with particular emphasis on E-learning. Finally the paper gives a model of Smart Learning using the IoT and the gamification technique of E-Learning.

Performance comparison of MPPT techniques using Cuk converter for photovoltaic energy conversion system Cuk转换器用于光伏能量转换系统的MPPT技术性能比较

This paper deals with performance analysis and comparison of photovoltaic (PV) energy conversion system for two different maximum power point tracking (MPPT) techniques. A CUK converter is used in the PV system to implement the MPPT controller. Two different MPPT controllers are designed to locate the maximum power point: Perturb & Observe and Fuzzy logic based. To evaluate and compare the performances of the designed MPPT controllers PV system is operated with different environmental conditions.

A service identification model for service oriented architecture 面向服务体系结构的服务标识模型

Service Oriented Architecture facilitates more feature as compared to legacy architecture which makes this architecture widely accepted by the industry. Service oriented architecture provides feature like reusability, composability, distributed deployment. Service of SOA is governed by SOA governance board in which they provide approval to create the services and also provide space to expose the particular services. Sometime many services are kept in a repository which creates service identification issue. Service identification is one of the most critical aspects in service oriented architecture. The services must be defined or identified keeping reuse and usage in different business contexts in mind. Rigorous review of Identified service should be done prior to development of the services. Identification of the authenticated service is challenging to development teams due to several reasons such as lack of business process documentation, lack of expert analyst, and lack of business executive involvement, lack of reuse of services, lack of right decision to choose the appropriate service. In some of the cases we have replica of same service exist, which creates difficulties in service identification. Existing design approaches of SOA doesn't take full advantage whereas proposed model is compatible more advantageous and increase the performance of the services. This paper proposes a model which will help in clustering the service repository based on service functionality. Service identification will be easy if we follow distributed repository based on functionality for our services. Generally in case of web services where service response time should be minimal, searching in whole repository delays response time. The proposed model will reduce the response time of the services and will also helpful in identifying the correct services within the specified time.

Implementing WEKA for medical data classification and early disease prediction 实现医疗数据分类和疾病早期预测的WEKA

In recent years, the advent of latest web and data technologies has encouraged massive data growth in almost every sector. Businesses and leading industries are viewing these huge data repositories as a tool to design future strategies, prediction models by analyzing patterns and gaining knowledge from this unstructured data by applying different data mining techniques. Medical domain has now become richer in term of maintaining digital records of patients related to their diagnosis and treatment. These huge data repositories can range from patient personnel data, diagnosis, treatment histories, test diagnosis, images and various scans. This terabytes of medical data is quantity rich but weaker in information in terms of knowledge and robust tools to identify hidden patterns of knowledge specifically in medical sector. Data Mining as a field of research has already well proven capabilities of identifying hidden patterns, analysis and knowledge applied on different research domains, now gaining popularity day by day among researchers and scientist towards generating novel and deep insights of these large biomedical datasets also. Uncovering new biomedical and healthcare related knowledge in order to support clinical decision making, is another dimension of data mining. Through massive literature survey, it is found that early disease prediction is the most demanded area of research in health care sector. As health care domain is bit wider domain and having different disease characteristics, different techniques have their own prediction efficiencies, which can be enhanced and changed in order to get into most optimize way. In this research work, authors have comprehensively compared different data classification techniques and their prediction accuracy for chronic kidney disease. Authors have compared J48, Naive Bayes, Random Forest, SVM and k-NN classifiers using performance measures like ROC, kappa statistics, RMSE and MAE using WEKA tool. Authors have also compared these classifiers on various accuracy measures like TP rate, FP rate, precision, recall and f-measure by implementing on WEKA. Experimental result shows that random forest classifier has better classification accuracy over others for chronic kidney disease dataset.

In different difficulties of cell framework, asset distribution is the most run of the mill challenge. It influences the nature of administration (QoS) of the framework. To use the assets effectively we have to impart them yet to the ensured QoS for all administrations. In this paper we have tended to the intercell and intracell obstruction and proposed another methodology for asset assignment in numerous cell framework.

Tool condition monitoring using the chain code technique, pixel matching and morphological operations 刀具状态监测采用链码技术、像素匹配和形态运算

Tool condition in various machining processes directly affects the quality of machined surfaces. Tool condition needs to be monitored with the purpose of evaluating the tool life and timely replacing it, if it is not in favourable condition. The present work focuses on monitoring of tool condition through image processing. The images of the single point lathe tool have been captured before and after machining by a machine vision system. These images are processed using MATLAB image processing toolbox software and tool condition has been evaluated. Different methods, i.e. Chain code, pixel matching and morphological operations have been successfully implemented for extracting the shape of the tool. Depending upon the shape of the tool, it has been classified as ‘Normal’ or ‘Worn’.

Energy efficient and low cost air quality sensor for smart buildings 用于智能建筑的节能低成本空气质量传感器

An Indoor-Air-Quality (IAQ) sensor is developed in conformity with ISO/IEEE/IEC 21451 standards. The developed IAQ sensor is suitable to monitor the concentrations of indoor air quality parameters like PM2.5, CO2, O3, and CO. The semiconductor and PM 2.5 sensors are used for implement the sensor array. The optical PM2.5 Sensor module has been developed. The sensing part of the developed sensor is controlled through smart devices with GSM network. The machine-to-machine (M2M) data communication is implemented for the air quality sensor and smart devices. The calibration of the developed sensor has also been implemented successfully. The IAQ sensor is portable, easy to operate, low cost, and energy efficient.
