Forecasting electricity consumption is an important index for system planning, operation and decision making. In order to improve the accuracy of the forecasting, we apply an integrated architecture to optimize the prediction. Based on an integration of two machine learning techniques: artificial fish swarm algorithm search approach based on test-sample error estimate criterion (AFSAS-TEE) and support vector regression (SVR), we proposed a novel forecasting model for future electricity load forecasting. On the one hand the theory of phase space reconstruction (PSR) technique was used for nonlinear dynamic system analysis with the chaotic load series and on the other hand a AFSAS-TEE tuning system is proposed to choose the parameters of SVR automatically in time series prediction. The effectiveness of the proposed model is demonstrated with actual data taken from the Australia Power Grid, and the actual data are compared with the presented and neural networks (NN) methods.

In this paper, we have investigated the issues related to resource allocation, fault-tolerance and application scheduling in the context of computational grid economy, arises due to the autonomous nature of grid environment. Our proposed approach provides a novel solution for fault-tolerant resource allocation and task scheduling algorithm that executes userpsilas job in case of resource failure and satisfied user quality of service requirements. This study explores the relationships between customer value and brand loyalty from mutli-dimensional structure perspective. The authors propose a conceptual model for understanding the effects of customer value on brand loyalty. The model integrates four customer value dimensions and two brand loyalty dimensions. The empirical test using a structural equation model indicate that functional value and symbolic value have prominent effects on both attitudinal loyalty and behavioral loyalty, otherwise, experiential value and perceived price only indirectly affect behavioral loyalty, with the indirect path occurring through attitudinal loyalty. Finally, the implications of the study are discussed and further research is encouraged to refine and enhance the proposed model.

Combining computer technology with traditional Chinese medical treatment mechanisms, the paper deals with a new approach to the design of medical sensor, designs the main circuit of an EMG sensor by evolution. A framework of evolvable sensor is proposed based on the combining of the characteristics of conventional sensor and evolvable hardware. Integrated with the hierarchical coding characteristic of GA and analog/digital circuit, hierarchical structures evolve method which suits the evolvement of analog sensor circuit is proposed. In the present case study low pass filter circuits are evolved successfully in the usage of an improved elitist preserving and adaptive GA through off-line evolution, whatpsilas more, simulated by OrCAD/Pspice. The preliminary experiments and results attempt the meaningful explore to the entire design of the evolvable sensor and the transform from EHW theory based on analog circuit to practical application.

In this paper, we present the design and evaluation of PeerCSDB. It is a database management system in P2P networks. It uses a structured P2P network to manage copies of data cache, and an unstructured P2P network to manage peers who are responsible for the data cache. It has the benefit of the Client/Server model and peer-to-peer model at the same time. PeerCSDB distinguishes itself from existing P2P database systems in several ways. First, by saving the data cache in the clients, the system will lighten the load on the database server and alleviate the bottleneck. Second, the clients form a peer-to-peer network to manage the data cache. The user could get query results from data cache, so it significantly reduces the response time to queries. We implemented and evaluated PeerCSDB. Experimental results show that PeerCSDB can effectively exploit P2P technologies for database management system.
