The study aimed at advertising and marketing strategies of Prabhat Group of Industries. The study was conducted in Family Bazaar, Masjid Bandar area in Mumbai city, Maharashtra state. It has been observed that more number of dairy firms is present in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra (20 numbers). From this district, Prabhat dairy is selected on the basis of large production of different milk products. Various advertising mediums used by Prabhat dairy for marketing of different products is studied along with its different promotional activities. This paper mainly highlights the task such as in shop activity which was conducted in Family Bazaar, Masjid Bandar area (Mumbai). Under this assignment survey was conducted in Mumbai city, to find out in which area sale is less of Prabhat Ghee. During survey we prepared questioner and we found that in Mumbai, Masjid Bandar is the area where sale of Prabhat Ghee is less as compared to other companies. After completion of the activity to find out the impact on customer along with the impact it has happened on sales in that area.

The study is concerned with the export promotion of pomegranate from India. The study examines compound growth rate of export of pomegranate from India from 1987-88 to 2009-10. The study revealed that the total quantity of pomegranate exported from India showed a significant and positive compound growth rate for all the three periods. The highest growth was observed during pre-WTO period (42.33 %) followed by overall period (20.61%) and post-WTO period (20.52%). As far as the value of export was concerned, highest growth was observed during the pre-WTO period with 50.84 per cent followed by post-WTO period (28.09%) and overall period (27.86%). Also the study examines variation in export of pomegranate from India. It can be observed from the results that the CV (82.84%) was higher in terms of quantity during post-WTO period compared to pre-WTO period (73.51%). Similarly, in terms of value, The CV was again higher in post-WTO period (100.56%) as compared to pre-WTO period (82.30%). The CV for overall period was relatively higher than pre and post-WTO periods both in terms of quantity and value with 113.43 and 138.60 per cent, respectively. Further the study assess predicted and actual share of different countries in India pomegranate export during 1988-2010. A close look at the observed and estimated shares of pomegranate revealed that the difference was by and large small. That means the observed proportions of export shares were in consistent with the predicted shares of exports, which were derived from the Markov process validating the use of the Markov chain model for estimating the share of different countries by using transitional probability matrix. UAE was the major importer since 1988-92 with a share of 41.13 per cent which rose to 63.32 per cent in 2001-04, but as per the projection the share of UAE remained around 47 to 50 per cent in all the triennium periods. Also the assess the SWOT for the same. Besides also study includes various problems faced by the growers and marketers of pomegranate.

Study was conducted in Bhopal district of M.P. in 2011. Unemployment and poverty in general is the non-availability of a remunerative work to people who are otherwise worthy of doing such work with requisite efficiency. Government has formulated innumerable schemes and projects, which are in an operation to check growing poverty as a multi-prolonging strategy. The government of India has been launching several schemes for the unemployed in the rural and urban area of the country. The present study is helpful to administrators, policy makers, researchers and banking/financing institutions for making future strategies and also explores the weakness of the present implementations. An overwhelming majority of the poor are in rural areas and continue to depend on agriculture for want of any other livelihood opportunities outside the sector. About 52 per cent of the country's workforce and over 60 per cent of the population depends on agriculture which now accounts for just 17 per cent of the country's GDP, thus, perpetuating rural poverty and widening the rural-urban divide. Economic motivation is the degree to which an individual intends to earn to the maximum extent. Economic motivation has been conceptualized as one's orientation towards profit maximization in farming.

Banking is one of the fastest growing industries in India. In spite of dominant position of public sector banks private sector banking in India revolutionizes the business environment. But micro enterprise in India is still under developed due to financial hindrance while they account good share in production and export. For the development of micro enterprises there should be a strong linkage with the banks. A primary study of 80 respondents has done to identify the issues associated with banking. Simple statistical technique chi-square and ANOVA is used to analyze the data. This study is helpful for banks to design a policy to deliver the service particularly to micro enterprises.

A study was undertaken to examine the nature and extent of post-harvest losses in onion supply chain in the Jhunjhunu district which is major onion district of Rajasthan. A total sample size of 75 onion growers, 20 wholesalers and 25 retailers were taken from Jhunjhunu district. Maximum aggregate post-harvest losses (23.62 kg/q) have been found at producer level due to faulty storage, lack of adequate transportation, drying, improper handling of the produce at the time of marketing, rotted bulbs, doubles, bolters, poor packing facilities, injury at the time of harvesting and de-topping. Total losses in the supply chain were estimated to be 29.02 kg/q (81.39%) losses were observed at farm level and rest were contributed at wholesale and retail level. The farm level post harvest losses excluding the losses at farm level storage for Jhunjhunu district was estimated to be 26676.96q for the year 2009-10.

The study was carried out during the year 2013-14 in Parbhani district of Maharashtra. About 48 residential farms were randomly selected from sixteen villages of two tehsils of Parbhani district of Maharashtra. Data were collected by personal interview method by using pretested schedule. The results revealed that, current asset was Rs. 541522.89 while intermediate asset was Rs. 109321.64 and long term asset was Rs.2071565.70. Hence, total asset was Rs. 2722410.23. The amount of total liability was Rs.241922.58 in which long term libility was Rs. 125533.53 followed by intermediate liability Rs. 29769.05 and current liability was Rs. 86620. Hence, net worth or equity was Rs.2480487.65. In income statement, gross cash income was Rs. 474092.89 and amount of total receipt was Rs. 630592.89. Total expense was Rs. 285890.17. Amount of net farm income was Rs. 344702.72.In regards to performance of residential farm business, current ratio was found to be 6.25. The intermediate ratio was found to be 5.59. The net capital ratio was 11.25.Current liability ratio was 0.03 which indicated negligible amount of current liability as compared to owner's equity. Debt-equity ratio was 0.09 and Equity value ratio was 0.91 on residential farm business. Operating ratio was found to be 0.42. Fixed ratio was 0.17.and gross net profit ratio was found to be 0.60.

In order to further compete with other competitors in producing quality seeds, it has to be alert and improve in all the aspects of seed production, distribution, marketing etc. SWOT analysis is a strategic planning method used to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats involved in a project or in a business venture. The objective of the research is to evaluate the performance of AP seeds vs. the private seed companies in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh through SWOT analysis and to develop a strategy for effective functioning of the organization. With consistence performance in all functional areas of the corporation, endeavor is to make AP seeds a benchmark seed company with the best of research, innovation and product development.
