The Journal of Indian Prosthodontic Society | Volume 20 | Supplement 1 | December 2020 S35 most Head and Neck cancer patients, the high risk of them acquiring Covid-19 and then making chances of survival slim to none; is a reality most oncologists have to plan around now. Summary: A scoping review was planned keeping in mind the need arising from the pandemic and online research databases were scanned for articles related to radiation therapy protocols for head and neck cancer patients and the changes required to sustain radiation therapy for those in critical need. New guidelines based on what has been learnt about the virus were found for such patients mainly from ASTRO/ESTRO. Conclusion: Treating cancer patients with Radiation therapy while surgeries are postponed seems the most practical and viable option to limit exposure to clinical environments that could be contaminated. It also makes them less reliant on the availability of hospital beds which are mostly being reserved for Covid-19 patients and relieves the burden on the existing medical equipment, infrastructure, and resources, medical and paramedical staff. Although protocols are evolving with each new input around the virus, an institution based planning and approach is needed. S28 The Journal of Indian Prosthodontic Society | Volume 20 | Supplement 1 | December 2020 Rejuvenating Lives through the Eyes – A Case Report Dr. Vikram M Belkhode S.R.M.M.M.T.’s Sharad Pawar Dental College & Hospital,Maharashtra Introduction: Eyes are among the first features of the face to be noticed. Loss of an eye leaves a psychological impact on the patient. Custom-made eye prosthesis is a good option to rehabilitate such defects. Positioning the iris to the ideal symmetrical position is a cardinal step in the fabrication of an ocular prosthesis. Methodology: A 30-year-old male patient reported with the chief complaint of missing a left eye due to an automobile injury, 5 years ago. On examination, the left eye socket exhibited eyelid constriction, reduced size, and depth. A decision was made to fabricate a customized ocular prosthesis. All the procedures were carried out in a conventional manner until iris positioning. Iris positioning was done with the new “laser pointer Apparatus”. The measures for the normal eye were obtained with it and were replicated on the affected eye. The laboratory procedures were meticulously followed and the prosthesis was delivered. Conclusion: The paper elaborates on the technique of fabricating a custom-made ocular prosthesis with the use of a laser pointer apparatus. The technique described using a Laser Pointer Device in this article is an accurate, affordable, easy-to-use, and comfortable to the patient and recommended for clinical use in small setups.

S40 The Journal of Indian Prosthodontic Society | Volume 20 | Supplement 1 | December 2020 Introduction: In dentistry, AI (Artificial Intelligence) is used for different applications. It can analyze records, communicate with patients directly and book appointments. All of this is accomplished without human involvement. Summary: AI is used in caries detection, large amount of radio graphs are analyzed and caries patterns are stored, and as a result, it helps general dental practitioners recognize caries lesions easily. But where are we now, as far as Prosthodontics is concerned Conclusion: Augmented Reality (AR) is closely related to AI, with which it is possible to visualize persons’ smiles in real-time, thereby helping in DSB (Digital Smile Designing). AR is used in Implant dentistry. In recent times AI Artificial Intelligence, AR Augmented Reality, ML -Machine Learning amongst others, is becoming a part of Prosthodontics treatment modalities. This paper strives to give the overview of conventional versus digital practices in this field. Change of scenario is very soon possible. S40 The Journal of Indian prosthotic Society | Volume 20 | Supplement 1 | December
