Introduction. The increasing prevalence of type 2 diabetes mellitus in developed and developing countries has become a global health problem or disease in society. Therefore, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus can be prevented with regular exercise, healthy and regular life. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of foot exercise on the status of lower extremity sensory neuropathy and changes in blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at Tanjunganom Public Health Center, Nganjuk Regency. Method. The design in this study was pre-experimental with a one group pre-posttest design approach, this study sought the effect of foot exercise on the status of lower extremity sensory neuropathy and changes in blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at Tanjunganom Public Health Center, Nganjuk Regency, in this study involved 30 respondents with purposive sampling technique. This research was conducted on October 14-21, 2022. Result&Analysis. From the results of the Wilcoxon test, it was found that after doing foot exercises, the sensory neuropathy status of the lower extremities in the right extremity was obtained value = 0.000<0.05, besides that after doing leg exercises, changes in blood glucose levels were obtained value = 0.000<0.05 this indicates that there was an effect of foot exercise on the sensory neuropathy status of the lower extremities and changes in blood glucose levels in people with diabetes mellitus 2. Discussion. Patients with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus can applicate foot exercises to change lower extremity sensory status and blood glucose level.

Introduction. Disaster is a series of events that can threaten and disrupt human life, caused by natural and non-natural factors. A flood disaster is a natural disaster that can occur due to extreme storms in the upper watersheds, climate change, and geomorphological conditions of soil slopes, erosion, and sediment material. Flood disasters will have an impact on the social situation, people's economy, health status and death. Method. A systematic review was conducted through several stages, namely making questions, identifying, eligibility, selecting article inclusions, screening, and appraisal. The selection process was listed in the Systematic review framework and 10 articles are obtained. Later, articles were summarized and rated according to The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) in each article. Result&Analysis. The data shows that the results vary according to the system, and the conditions in which the study was conducted. Increasing the role of the community in flood disaster management efforts is done by increasing community knowledge, skills and experience, related to an efficient disaster management system, with several methods, namely by giving questionnaires and conducting interviews with the community or family, special training and simulations. Discussion. To increase the awareness and role of the community in managing flood disasters, several methods are applied. The simulation method is an educational effort that can be used to improve people's knowledge, skills, and experience in conducting flood management activities.

Introduction. Mothers are the most important role in the family when children are sick and mothers tend to be unprepared to deal with children with febrile seizures. Emergency training using the Chair Side Talk method is expected to provide mothers-to-be to increase their abilities if one day their child has a seizure. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of emergency training with the chair side talk method on the mother's ability to treat children's febrile seizures. Method. The research method used is pre-experimental , with a one group pre-post test design. The research sample was 28 women from Mander Village, Tambakboyo District who were selected by simple random sampling. SOP research instruments and questionnaire sheets. The analysis of this study used the Wilxocon test. Result & Analysis. The results showed that most of the mothers' abilities in dealing with children with febrile seizures before being given training were categorized as incapable, and after being given emergency training using the chair side talk method, most of them were categorized as capable. The results of statistical tests showed that there was a difference in the ability of mothers in handling febrile seizures after being given training with the chair side talk method with p value = 0.000 at a = 0.05 (p <0.05). It is hoped that after having the child's ability to have seizures, the mother can take care of the child during a seizure. Discussion. There is an effect of providing emergency training with the chair side talk method in handling febrile seizures.

Introduction. Asthma is a chronic airway inflammatory disease with the characteristic of eosinophilic infiltration, mucus hypersecretion, and airway hyper-responsiveness (AHR). Lipid mediators are one of mediators that were suggested to be involved in asthma pathophysiology. Then, the pro-inflammatory mediators initiate inflammation while pro-resolving mediators are produced at later stage in the resolution phase to bring back the cellular homeostasis. Pro-resolving mediators can be produced from omega-3 (n-3), one of the essential fatty acid needed from food. Method. This research is a literature review based on some sources like books and journals with the same topic. Result & Analysis. The relation between diet, especially fatty acid, and the risk of lung inflammatory process, such as asthma has long been suggested. The metabolites of fatty acids and the fatty acid itself become decisive factors in regulating the persistence and resolution of bronchopulmonary inflammation in asthma. The high concentration of n-3 in vitro decreases production of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins, cytokines, and ROS that play critical roles in inflammatory process. Discussion. Since asthma is known to be mainly caused by an inflammatory process, it has been hypothesized that high intake of n-3 fatty acid may be beneficial in prevention and management of asthma.

Introduction. The increase in life expectancy of the elderly continues to increase, which has implications for the increase in the incidence of Alzheimer's dementia in the elderly. The elderly with Alzheimer's dementia will experience changes that cause them elderly to be different from their previous personality and behaviour. This will be a burden for the family. This study was to obtain an overview of families' experiences in caring for the elderly with Alzheimer's dementia. Methods. The studyused is a scoping with conducting a focusing review with the PEOS framework (Population, Exposure, Outcome and Study Design), conducting literature searching using relevant databases. Select relevant studies, perform data extraction, analyze and report results. PRISMA Flowchart (Preferred Reporting Items for systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses) was used to describe the literature search flow about experiences of families caring for the elderly with dementia. Results & Analysis. Eight (8) literatures were selected, and positive and negative themes emerged. The upbeat theme is that religious and cultural beliefs patiently cause families to care for the elderly with Alzheimer's dementia. While the negative themes that emerged were Caregiver experiences (emotional and psychological), Loss and stress. Discussion. The most common theme in this study is a negative theme, so it is necessary to be aware of the importance of mentoring and support assistance for families who care for the elderly with dementia.

Introduction. This study aimed to know the relationship between low physical activity and balance in elderly. Methods. This type of research is a descriptive correlative study between low physical activity and elderly balance that consisting of 37 elderlies in the work area of Serengan Public Health Center based on purposive sampling technique. The examination of low physical activity is through Physical Activity Scale for Elderly (PASE). The questionnaire shows that mean ± SD value of low physical activity is 55.37 ± 18.99 and the balance measurement using Time Up and Go Test (TUGT) that obtained a mean ± SD balance of 18.14 ± 5.67. Results & Analysis. The Spearman-Rank Correlation Coefficient test obtained p value. Discussion. there is a relationship between physical activity and the risk of falling in elderly at Serengan. The lower or less physical activity the elderly does, the higher the risk of falling they have.
Time Up and Go Test (TUGT)测量平衡感的平均±SD值为18.14±5.67。结果与分析。Spearman-Rank相关系数检验得到p值。讨论。在塞伦根,体力活动与老年人跌倒的风险之间存在联系。老年人的体力活动越少,摔倒的风险就越高。
