Performance analysis of security attacks and improvements of routing protocols in MANET MANET中安全攻击性能分析及路由协议改进

Mobile Ad hoc networks unlike the normal wired networks do not have an access point and are set up on a temporary or urgent basis to complete a particular task. Due to their inherent impromptu nature, they are set up in insecure environments, which makes them susceptible to attacks. Routing protocols which form the backbone of any network are a common target of these nodes. Two such protocols i.e Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector Routing Protocol (AODV) and Ad hoc On-Demand Multipath Distance Vector Protocol (AOMDV) are analysed in this paper. The attacks implemented are Blackhole, Grayhole, Flooding and Rushing attack. Their impact is studied on the protocols using parameters like Throughput, Packet Delivery Ratio, Normalized Routing Overhead, End to end delay, Packet Loss and Mean Hop Count.

A framework for smoking cessation in the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia using smart mobile phone technologies (Smoke Mind) 沙特阿拉伯王国使用智能移动电话技术的戒烟框架(Smoke Mind)

The use of mobile phones technologies for improved healthcare and wellbeing has increased dramatically in recent years, especially in the Arabian Gulf region. However, very few studies to date have addressed the use of smart mobile health technologies for smoking cessation in the region. This paper proposes a smart mobile health solution tailored to assist with smoking cessation in the Arabian Gulf, and in particular in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). It presents a framework for a smartphone-based system designed according to the requirements analyzed from a specific survey conducted to identify the smoker needs and medical staff needs identified from the interviews from the KSA user's perspective. The outcome of this survey suggests that such system architecture needs to include the m-health platform, decision support system based on data mining techniques to provide an optimised information management process to the smokers in the KSA community.

A novel approach to ionospheric scintillation detection based on an open loop architecture 基于开环结构的电离层闪烁探测新方法

Ionospheric scintillation monitoring is becoming an increasing research activity in order to devise countermeasures to the harmful effects ionospheric activity has on positioning services based on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). The amount of amplitude fluctuations in GNSS signals due to scintillation is estimated by the �������� index. For this purpose, traditional closed loop architectures are employed in the receiver. In this paper we investigate an alternative measurement parameter based on the Skewness of the histogram of the processed samples. The new metric could relay information akin to that of the S4 and it is estimated on an open loop receiver architecture.

Enhancing situation awareness through real-time video 通过实时视频增强态势感知

The development of technological image capturing and data transmission systems has made it possible for authorities to use more developed ways to attain more detailed situation information. Real-time video offers numerous possibilities to authorities, especially in rescue services. Situation information acquired through real-time video can for example make the production of rescue service officers' situation picture more efficient and accurate. Real-time video also serves distance leading exceptionally well and makes decision-making a lot easier because of more accurate situation information. This paper is reporting the results of a Thesis conducted in cooperation between Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Emergency Services College, Eye Solutions Ltd. and VideoDrone Ltd. as part of the AIRBorne information for Emergency situation Awareness and Monitoring (AIRBEAM) project. The paper evaluates and discusses the suitability of situation information produced by real-time video to the officer in charge of rescue services. The paper ultimately attempts to understand real-time video in rescue services as a phenomenon, which possibilities are not yet utilized. The paper is defined to focus on different levels of rescue service leading and addresses three real-time video production sources.

A study on the integrated construction cost management method with reflection of the characteristics of public construction works in South Korea 反映韩国公共建设工程特点的综合工程造价管理方法研究

Given their nature, construction projects should consider various factors such as the budget, period, methods, various participants under different construction environments, massive manpower, materials, and equipment so that they can be completed according to the given timeline and within the given budget. They also require a huge budget, thereby calling for an integrated systematic management system designed to ensure accurate performance measurement and analysis and to forecast the final construction cost. To effectively apply the earned-value management system (EVMS) to public construction projects, this study examined EVMS theories, derived EVMS problems, and developed and presented the display screens for the integrated process and construction cost management system suitable for public construction projects.

Towards a new possibilistic collaborative filtering approach 一种新的可能性协同过滤方法

Collaborative filtering approaches exploit users preferences to provide items recommendations. These preferences describing the actual state of the item are generally certain. However, in real problems we can not ignore the importance of uncertainty. In this paper, we propose a purely possibilistic collaborative filtering approach that provides a recommendation list given uncertain preferences expressed by possibility distributions. Experimental results show that the proposed approach outperforms traditional collaborative filtering algorithm.

A study on facility maintenance information composition and sophisticated technology utilization measures 设施维修信息构成及先进技术利用措施研究

Since recently, efforts have been made to adopt ICT such as mobile devices to ensure the efficient inspection, diagnosis, and maintenance of facilities, but the targets and performance results have been minimal. To cut labor costs, prevent safety accidents, and save energy, there is a need to sophisticate the facility management system using the latest ICT, including IoT, for inspecting, monitoring, and maintaining facilities. Alongside the utilization of the proposed inspection and repair history information, measures for using IoT-based sophisticated technology, if prepared, are expected to help dominate new markets ahead of the competitors, and to create the support system grounds for proactively maintaining SOC facilities at the national level.

Social media guidelines for maritime transport crises situations in the EU area 欧盟地区海上运输危机情况的社交媒体指南

This study aims to give better understanding of social media use in crisis communication between different maritime operators and authorities in the EU area. Study is based on several articles, recommendations and guidelines of different EU Member state authorities, and previous studies on crisis management and social media use in crisis communication especially relating the maritime sector. Research shows that maritime operators and authorities would benefit from common instructions in social media use at crisis communication. Collectively implemented social media guidelines and communication between all authorities, third sector organizations and ship-owners would improve the flow of information, clarify the division of responsibilities, speed up the aid efforts and help to minimize the damage caused by an injury. At the moment EU and Member State level authorities or shipping companies have their own directions and prevailing practices. This can cause confusion and slower response time for the required action.

Assessment of software-defined GNSS receivers 软件定义GNSS接收机的评估

The aim of this paper is to trigger a conversation about the assessment, definition of metrics and testing procedures of software-defined GNSS receivers. While the evaluation of traditional (i.e., built on application–specific integrated circuit technology) GNSS receivers is now well–understood, and enjoys both a solid testing industry providing the required equipment and universally agreed figures of merit, the particularities of software–defined radio technologies claim for a more comprehensive approach. In order to account for such a multi–faceted nature, the authors identify sixteen design forces, or dimensions in which a software-defined GNSS can improve. Upon those definitions, a wide list of performance indicators, metrics and procedures are then proposed for each of the identified thrusts. The list can be used as a generative source of ideas when defining key performance indicators in projects, products or services involving a software–defined GNSS receiver.
