Signal processing aapplication based on an improved CLIQUE algorithm for marine motors' bearing faults detection 基于改进CLIQUE算法的信号处理在船用电机轴承故障检测中的应用

A new signal processing application method of an improved CLIQUE algorithm based on Park's vector modulus spectrum for bearing fault detection is presented. The major theoretical principles of the algorithm based on spectral analysis are described. The presented approach is suited for condition monitoring of machine system under varying operating and loading conditions. The performance of this technique is investigated through study of realistic current signals. Experimental results show that the proposed method has better performance and validity in realizing bearing faults of marine motors.

A new optimum jitter protection for conversational VoIP 一个新的最佳抖动保护会话VoIP

In Voice-over-IP, jitter buffers are introduced at both sides of the sender and the receiver to compensate for delay jitters. A longer buffer reduces the possibility of packet loss and packet disorder at the expense of increasing conversational delays. In this paper, we propose a novel criterion for the calling quality of conversational VoIP, including the effect of delay on interactivity of a conversation. Using this criterion, we propose a quality-based playout scheduling algorithm with improved voice quality and reduced conversational delays. The Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve the best calling quality compared with other algorithms.

Analyzing and improving the TCP flow fairness in 802.11 based ad hoc networks 基于802.11的自组织网络中TCP流公平性分析与改进

The TCP flow fairness problem in 802.11 based multihop ad hoc networks was studied in this paper. Firstly, a probability model was established to describe the TCP flow fairness, and its rationality was verified by simulation; Then, a new MAC layer scheme with low overhead cost was proposed, in which the backoff window at MAC layer was controlled by detecting the basic factors that lead to the TCP flow unfairness, and so the TCP flow fairness was improved. The proposed algorithm was simply and easy to implement, simulation results show that it can eliminate the TCP flow monopoly phenomenon, improve the TCP flow fairness validly and without significantly impairing aggregate throughput in multihop ad hoc networks.

Formal analysis of secure routing protocol for ad hoc networks 自组织网络安全路由协议的形式化分析

In mobile ad hoc networks, routing security has become an important issue. Due to limited bandwidth and batteries energy of ad hoc networks, routing protocols of ad hoc must be secure, effective and less redundancy. This makes it possible for analyzing the security performance of routing protocols via formal analysis. In this paper, we describe the formalization of routing protocols by using BAN logic, and present the formal method in detail. Further, taking example of Authenticated Routing for Ad hoc Networks (ARAN), we analyze the security of routing protocol precisely using the formal method, which proves the method is valid.

An investigation in iterative decoding of Reed-Solomon codes based on adaptive belief propagation 基于自适应信念传播的Reed-Solomon码迭代译码研究

In this paper, a practical approach to the iterative soft-decision decoding algorithms based on adaptive belief propagation (ABP) is investigated for Reed-Solomon (RS) codes. The novelty is cascading a simplified Chase type decoder to the ABP scheme in each iteration, which can be viewed as an efficient termination criterion deployed in the ABP algorithm. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm improves the FER performance and converges with fewer iterations averagely, which declares a significant complexity reduction.

Multi-scale is a very important feature for people to recognize the world, which is existing in the nature everywhere. The multi-scale analysis can integrate rich information of different levels, with the perfect unit of the easy partition of coarse image and high accuracy of fine image. In this article, an algorithm is proposed which is used to refine the boundary in fine image based on the multi-scale feature. It is proved to be effective through the experiments.

Research on fault diagnosis expert system based on VXI bus for charger I circuit board 基于VXI总线的充电器I型电路板故障诊断专家系统研究

A fault diagnose expert system base on VXI is designed to proceed automatically a certain type high-tech information electronic equipment fault detection and improve its efficiency and accuracy of diagnosis. This paper mainly introduces the research on algorithm and realization of the fault diagnose expert system of the Charger I of such equipment, and example proving on the hardware platform is described as well. By use of such method, it's quicker and more convenient to locate fault on the circuit boards on this equipment. It's proved that this expert system can solve the problems of high cost and long intervals of maintenance and keep the equipment in a stable status.

The performance of RS-CC concatenated codes for the relay channel in WiMAX system RS-CC级联码在WiMAX中继信道中的性能

In this paper, we present a practical RS-CC concatenated coding scheme for half-duplex decode-and-forward (DF) relaying in the WiMAX system. In our proposed scheme, the relay firstly decodes the code from the source, then it sends the punctured information of the CC to the destination. We also proposed a soft decoding scheme for the concatenated codes. The simulation results of several models of the concatenated codes found in IEEE 802.16 technical specification are presented.

In this paper, we propose an ordered selection technique to improve the performance of the decision-directed RLS adaptive channel tracking algorithm in 2×2 spatial-multiplexing MIMO-OFDM systems under high mobility. The proposed technique uses the decision of high reliability order during MIMO signal detection and then selectively activates the RLS adaptation only when less interference and error will be generated if a wrong decision is still made. Simulation results show that the channel tracking accuracy of the proposed approach outperforms the 2D-RLS algorithm and the conventional linear interpolation algorithm. Moreover, we also show that both ordering and selection are effective and necessary to greatly suppress the error propagation and coefficient misadjustment. With the proposed technique, the system performance has obvious SNR improvements.

Based on the interleaving technique, a general design of orthogonal sequences with alternate periodic correlation values equal to zero is proposed. The proposed sequence set can be divided into two groups. In addition to traditional orthogonal properties, the periodic auto-correlation functions (ACFs) and intra-group cross-correlation functions (CCFs) of the designed sequences take zero at any odd shift while the inter-group CCFs take zero at any even shift. As a special case of the sequences with zero correlation zone (ZCZ), the designed sequences have the fixed ZCZ widths of 1 and 2, and can achieve the theoretical bound of set size for sequence length and ZCZ width.
