Iron encapsulation maximizes the absorption as well as protection the iron from inhibitor and oxidation. The proper excipient is required to be carefully selected to achieve these aims. Encapsulation using gelation method needs a matrix with gel-forming ability. Glucomannan has been studied as an excipient for various substances due to the desired characteristics to form strong, elastic, and stable. The glucomannan gel-forming ability is determined by the presence of acetyl groups in its chain, which prevent the long chains from binding to each other. Deacetylation increase the gel-forming ability of glucomannan. This work aimed to determine the deacetylation of glucomannan of Amorphophallus oncophillus using NaOH. This modified compound was used as encapsulant of iron using the gelation method in ethanol. Deacetylated glucomannan using a higher concentration of alkaline solution has a higher degree of deacetylation, lower viscosity, and non-linear solubility. Increasing glucomannan weight in deacetylation process raises the degree of deacetylation, viscosity, and solubility of deacetylated glucomannan. The deacetylation process improves iron encapsulation performance using glucomannan by 61.92% and eases the iron release evaluated by in-vitro test.Iron encapsulation maximizes the absorption as well as protection the iron from inhibitor and oxidation. The concept of a smart home has developed since the 90s. Where the initial goal of the emergence of the concept of a smart home is to create home automation that can increase the comfort of its residents. Smart home technology enables communication between household appliances and users and improves automation, monitoring and remote-control capabilities. Various studies have been conducted to develop smart home technology. The main purpose of developing a smart home is to meet human needs, namely, to increase user comfort and make everyday life easier. In its development, there are several aspects in a smart home that must be met, namely Security and Safety, Energy Management, and Comfort Control. In various countries have started implementing smart home simulators as learning media, various studies also show that the use of simulators can help in understanding a technology. But until now, in Indonesia, there is still no simulator/trainer who can facilitate learning about smart home technology. Therefore it is necessary to develop intelligent home prototypes that are integrated into one product to facilitate this learning. In this case, context-aware technology is a solution that can be used in the development of a smart green building. Technology context-aware is a term for a smart home that has the intelligence to automate home devices based on the context of the occupants. This paper aims to be a reference in developing smart home prototypes that fulfil the smart home aspects so that they can facilitate learning about smart home technology. This article was prepared by applying the method of critical analysis of literature published from 1992 to 2019 in journals and proceedings in Indonesian and English. As a follow up to future research, this article proposes the development of context-aware smart home simulator to facilitate learning about smart home technology. The concept of a smart home has developed since the 90s. The movement of data changes in time series often cannot be seen as a single model throughout the time the serial data is recorded. The occurrence of model structure changes often must be accommodated in time series data modeling. This paper aims to study the Markov Switching models in capturing the structural changes the closing price stocks data of three companies (PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. (INDF.JK), PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk. (ICBP.JK), and PT. Mustika Ratu Tbk. (MRAT.JK)) from the member and not members of LQ45, estimating the run-length for each model structure, and forecasting the one-step-ahead of stocks. The parameters in the Markov Switching models are estimated using the Expectation Maximization (EM). The result shows that the three companies had more than one structural model. The best stock for investment is IDNF.JK share which have the longest Average Run Length (ARL) that provides the bigger probability of the forecasting regime and the stock values. The movement of data changes in time series often cannot be seen as a single model throughout the time the serial data is recorded. In this research, edible film Chitosan-Avocado Seed Starch (CASS) was prepared and applied as jenang dodol packaging. The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of composition chitosan/starch toward the degree of swelling and transparency of the CASS film. Beside this, the effect of edible film CASS towards water content and peroxide levels of jenang dodol during storage was studied. Edible film was made in 3 stages, namely, making avocado seed starch, blending avocado seed starch and chitosan which has been dissolved in 1% of acetic acid at 70°C, and drying it in the oven for 24 hours at 70°C after that it was dried. The film composition between starch/chitosan is 0:100, 10:90, 20:80, 30:70, 40:60 and 50:50. The degree of swelling was characterized using the gravimetric method and transparency properties film was analized using UV-VIS spectrometry. The test of peroxide value was carried out by …. Water content in jenang dodol that packaged by edible film CASS was determined using gravimetric method. The effect of composition chitosan/starch toward shelf life of jenang dodol was based on the peroxide value. Results of this research show that the higher the concentration of chitosan, the value of the degree of swelling will be lower but transparency will be higher. The peroxide value and water content of jenang dodol packaged on storage was influenced by avocado seed starch concentration. Higher concentration of avocado seed starch result lower of increasing of peroxide value of jenang dodol during storage. Furthermore, the higher the avocado seed starch concentration cause the lower decrease in water content of jenang dodol. So, The CASS edible film can be recommended as food packaging with higher avocado seed starch. In this research, edible film Chitosan-Avocado Seed Starch (CASS) was prepared and applied as jenang dodol packaging. Students’ scientific attitude is very important to support the achievement of natural science learning in the 2013 curriculum in an effort to shape the character of students through attitudes formation on students when carrying out the learning process through experimentation, discussion, group work and the overall learning process. The ability to analyze and self-regulation is part of critical thinking skills that must be built on each student so that it becomes a directed character in everyday life to solve all kinds of problems. This research aims to describe the implementation of PODE (Predict, Observe, Discuss and Explain) worksheet in natural science learning to improve students’ scientific attitudes, students’ analysis ability and students’ self-regulation. The research was conducted in class VII.3 with 32 students of SMPN 4 Nganjuk, East Java. Type of research is Classroom Action Research. The method used is a pre-experimental design type One Shot Case Study, meaning that there is a group given treatment then the results are observed. The results of this research show the following: 1) Students’ scientific attitude before using PODE worksheet (pre cycle) is 2.92 (sufficient category) and after using PODE worksheet (cycle I) is 3.03 (good category), 2) Ability to analyze students before using PODE worksheet (pre cycle) is 37.5% (less category) and after using PODE worksheet (cycle I) is 70.31% (sufficient category), 3) Students’ Self-regulation before using PODE worksheet (pre cycle) is 37.5% (less category) and after using PODE worksheet (Cycle I) is 71.87% (sufficient category). Thus it can be concluded that the implementation of PODE worksheet can improve scientific attitudes, analysis ability and self-regulation of students.Students’ scientific attitude is very important to support the achievement of natural science learning in the 2013 curriculum in an effort to shape the character of students through attitudes formation on students when carrying out the learning process through experimentation, discussion, group work and the overall learning process. In the last few years, many researchers have developed a Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge framework (TPACK) to describe the knowledge of teachers and prospective teachers related to integrating technology effectively. This study is a systematic literature review of the development of ICT teacher candidates. The researcher conducted a systematic review of 25 articles for the period 2009 to 2019. This study aims to discuss and investigate the use of TPACK framework to develop ICT teacher candidates. Then find out whether the development has an impact on ICT teaching in the future In particular, this literature review tries to identify the development of prospective ICT teachers from the components of the TPACK framework, knowing their readiness to integrate technology in education, their perspectives for future teaching, how they can measure TPACK development, and strategies for developing TPACK. The findings indicate that the active involvement of prospective ICT teachers in technology lessons or courses has an impact on the successful use of the TPACK framework and can improve the way ICT is taught in the future.
