Literary quiz as a form of involving technical university students in extracurricular activities 文学测验作为一种让工科大学生参与课外活动的形式

. The aim of the study is to reveal the features of organizing and holding a literary quiz as a form of involving students in extracurricular activities at a technical university. The paper presents various types of tasks that were created by the authors for the described events aimed at the development of students’ reading activity. Furthermore, the results of surveys of participants in the quizzes are analyzed in order to obtain feedback, which allows the researchers to determine the degree of effectiveness of these events and compare the results obtained with the tasks set by the organizers. The scient ific novelty of the study consists in identifying the criteria for the elaboration of tasks and the organization of a literary quiz at a technical university, as well as in describing the experience of holding a literary quiz. As a result, it has been det ermined that this form of extracurricular activities is productive in terms of developing skills of working with the text

Intercultural competence: Interpretation vectors, related notions (theoretical foundations) 跨文化能力:解释载体,相关概念(理论基础)

Ab stract. The study aims to illustrate the discrepancies and redundancy in the terminological apparatus of pedagogy in the context of understanding the notion of ‘intercultural competence’. The paper clarifies the definitional characteristics of the terms related to intercultural competence: intercultural communicative competence, sociocultural competence, existential competence, linguocultural competence, strategic co m-petence. The scientific novelty of the paper lies in providing arguments in favor of the expedien cy of consi - dering the notion of ‘intercultural competence’ in the universal and special meanings, the latter being determined by a particular target audience. As a result, the notion of ‘the intercultural competence of foreign students in the multicultura l educational environment of the university’ is actualized, its content is revealed.
