Commercial banks are considered as the locomotive of all economic entities in the world. Therefore, the financial stability and reliability of banks in many cases is one of the extremely pressing issues for states, central banks and clients, and if it is necessary to carry out remote control over their activities, develop various regulatory and legal standards, as well as based on the results of compliance with established regulatory standards, determination of ratings is considered as an urgent issue. At the same time, independent entities as well as rating organizations throughout the world use the practice of determining the rating of commercial banks. The theoretical aspects of rating assessment of banks' activities are illuminated in this article.

The beginning of the 20th Century marked an era of unprecedented and radical changes in social structures, economic systems, and political organizations among other spheres of life. Various literary schools of thought developed and each had a distinct artistic approach and ideological aspects. The Russian literature developed as a major way to learn about the Russian culture and worldview coupled with ways of loving, fighting, and expression. This period ranks as the Silver Age of the Russian literature and it served the urgent mission to provide the Russian citizens with a kind of truth, which could only be conveyed through literature in a censored society.

Characteristic features of the genre of novel in literature of late XX – turn of XXI century have been analyzed in the article. Contemporary prose development trends have been revealed on the base of generalization of works covering this problem and analysis of a certain writings. Changes of the genre of novel in writers' works have been revealed and factors that affect development of literary process have been defined. Scientific and technical progress impact on writers' world outlook, authors' concept of being and personality, structure and content of today novels have been revealed. Characteristic features of prose written in late XX – turn of XXI century have been defined. Multilayer, multi-genre nature, polyphony and flexibility of novels have been outlined. Analysis of ideas and topics as well as construction of works of contemporary writers has been paid much attention. Principles and methods of picturing life in prose of late XX – turn of XXI century have been defined. Essence of genre and stylistic originality of contemporary writers have been formulated. Specifics of change of the set of patterns in literature of late XX – turn of XXI century have been revealed. Deepening of psychological insight, authors' attempts to broaden the limits of traditional ideas of the world and reveal hidden sides of characters, pictured phenomena and processes have been stressed.
