A model-based multimedia Encryption scheme for real time videos 一种基于模型的实时视频多媒体加密方案

Multimedia Encryption is an extremely useful method for the stopping unwanted interception and viewing of any transmitted video or other information. Most of the existing video encryptions algorithms that are to be considered to be of significantly increase the video size independent of encryption algorithm employed. This is because these algorithms encrypt DCTs without considering their characteristics or relationship to the visual content. This adversely affects the transmission throughput. Here we introduce a new methodology for video encoding i.e of security in which a video based security on H.264 standards that has become a new research focus. In this research mechanism it reduces the video size significantly without any compromise in security. The proposed algorithm performs encryption followed by permutation of the DCTs. On an average, increase in video size is restricted of that of the original video.

BLI - NAV embedded navigation system for blind people 盲人BLI - NAV嵌入式导航系统

BLI -NAV is a blind navigation system exclusively designed for blind people. The system with portable and self-contained feature allows the blind people to travel through familiar and unfamiliar environment. The proposed system consists of hardware and software components used for effective navigation process. The entire system is assembled into an embedded system. In the embedded system two of the major component known as GPS receiver and path detector used for receiving the current position of the user and find the shortest path to the destination. The navigation process of the system can start when the user gives the destination as voice command. The voice recognizer of the system will convert the voice information into respective string format. The converted string will be mapped into GIS database to identify the location into the map. The path detector will find the shortest path between two end points using critical path algorithm. The distance between the locations and intermediate position will be informed through voice command. The obstacles and hazards of the path will also be identified while travelling and the respective information will be given to the user through voice command. GIS database used to store the details of all spatial and map information. The user can change map information with respective to their country and city. The usage of the device will be easy and user-friendly to any age group with any category.

On board communication subsystem for Sathyabama University nano-satellite 中山大学纳米卫星星载通信子系统

The primary goal of the communication subsystem of any satellite is to establish a communication link between the satellite and the ground station to relay payload and housekeeping data.[1] In this paper, various hardware and software design aspects of the Sathyabama nanosatellite communication subsystem is discussed. Hardware devices chosen for our design includes Microhard MHX-425 ultra low power FHSS radio transceiver, Beacon transmitter, Microchip dsPIC on board processor and monopole antennas. The software written for the dsPIC processor is responsible for encoding telemetry and payload information into standard AX.25 format data packets as well as decoding commands transmitted from the ground station.

Wind dependence of ambient noise in shallow water of Arabian sea during pre-monsoon 季风前阿拉伯海浅水环境噪声的风依赖性

Underwater acoustics is a part of many marine projects. some scientists use sound to track ocean currents, identify potential obstacles, or quantify fish distributions.other part of research don't directly ise sound, but listen to ocean noise or investicate how marine animals produce and hear sounds.The noise level does not depend on the direction in which the wind is blowing. Waves do not break at lower wind speeds. Wind is one of the most important components of weather and climate. Winds are the primary driver of large-scale ocean currents. They are responsible for the formation of the Gulf Stream, for example. Improved understanding of the global pattern of wind is needed to improve weather and climate forecasting. Information on wind over the ocean helps meteorologists, oceanographers, and climatologists. Ambient noise data were collected for the period of six months in the shallow water of Arabian sea.Datas were collected for different wind speed ranges between 0.5 m/s to 7 m/s and the analysis were performed for frequencies ranging from 500 Hz to 7 KHz. The relative spectral energy distribution of sea noise is presented for a number of wind speeds .Linear relationship between the sea noise spectrum levels and the wind speed were found for the entire frequency range.

Assessing a suitable method in estimating Evapotranspiration for crop water requirement 评估作物需水量蒸散估算的合适方法

Tamilnadu is a water scared state deficient in both ground water and surface water. Efficient water management techniques are required for maximizing yield of any crop that requires estimating crop water requirement in a reliable manner and realistic manner. Evapotranspiration is an essential component of the hydrological circle and its accurate estimation is necessary for many hydrologic studies. References crop Evapotranspiration (ETo) is independent of crop type and depends on climate and is a basis for computation of water requirements for crops it also plays significant role for the distribution of water on the earth surface and a major determinate variable in water cycle. A way of estimating Evapotranspiration may provide an insight to crop water requirement. The demand of the any crop can be computed by multiplying reference crop Evapotranspiration with crop co-efficient. To date, a lot approach are available for ET estimation, each method has its own advantages and disadvantages. Assessing a suitable methodology is focus of this paper.

Second harmonic generation in Thiourea doped L-Threonine Non Linear Optical single crystal 硫脲掺杂l -苏氨酸非线性光学单晶的二次谐波产生

Non Linear Optics (NLO) is a new frontier area of science and technology that is to play a major role in the emerging technology of photonics, which is the technology of the 21st century. Non Linear Optical processes provide the key functions of frequency conversion and optical switching. These applications depend upon the various properties of the materials, such as transparency, birefringence, refractive index, dielectric constant, thermal, photochemical and chemical stability. Organic nonlinear materials are attracting a great deal of attention, as they have large optical susceptibilities, inherent ultra fast response times and high optical thresholds for laser power. In the present work Thiourea doped L-Threonine (TU doped LT) organic single crystal is grown at room temperature by slow evaporation technique. The lattice parameters and the functional groups are identified by single crystal XRD and FTIR studies respectively. The second harmonic generation (SHG) efficiency of a non linear optical material is a very important parameter from which we get an idea about the efficiency of the material in translating energy from fundamental beam to second harmonic beam. This is confirmed by Kurtz Perry powder technique using Q-switched Nd-YAG laser and the SHG efficiency of the grown crystal is found to be 0.47 times that of urea. This enhances the application of TU doped LT single crystal in non linear optical applications.

A novel voltage mitigation method for high power applications 一种适用于大功率应用的新型电压缓解方法

In this paper novel voltage mitigation method is introduced to protect sensitive loads due to under voltage or by over current. It will be able to compensate voltage sags on critical loads dynamically. It consists of voltage source inverter, injection transformer, filter and energy storage device. The efficiency of the mitigation method depends on the efficiency of the control techniques involved in switching the inverter. There are many types of control techniques being used for mitigation voltage sags and their capabilities to withstand short duration, shallow sags, in addition to its tolerances to phase jumps, a mitigation technique with low passed , fast response and simple controller could be configured to full fill the voltage restoration requirements. The principle cause of all voltage sags is the short duration increasing current and a mitigation technique is proposed for sag detection and quantification for the sensitive loads which operates at low/high voltage. A different approach has been designed and controls to counter measure voltage disturbances for sensitive loads. The simulation results are presented using the MATLAB simulink toolbox, which shows the closed loop regulator to maintain the load voltage within acceptable levels of voltage variation using transformer coupled H-bridge converters

It will be able to compensate voltage sags on critical loads dynamically. It consists of voltage source inverter, injection transformer, filter and energy storage device. The efficiency of the mitigation method depends on the efficiency of the control techniques involved in switching the inverter. There are many types of control techniques being used for mitigation voltage sags and their capabilities to withstand short duration, shallow sags, in addition to its tolerances to phase jumps, a mitigation technique with low passed , fast response and simple controller could be configured to full fill the voltage restoration requirements. The principle cause of all voltage sags is the short duration increasing current and a mitigation technique is proposed for sag detection and quantification for the sensitive loads which operates at low/high voltage. A different approach has been designed and controls to counter measure voltage disturbances for sensitive loads. In this paper, the self organizing neural network approach is proposed in the micro air vehicle, inducted with nano-sensors to capture the enemy's arsenal. It is proposed that the nano-sensors sense the given locations. By using self organizing feature the micro air vehicle flies to the desired locations and capture the objects. The micro air vehicle starts from the base station once all the locations are programmed. The concept of travelling salesman problem (TSP) is used in the micro air vehicle. So the air vehicle flies to the various locations and return back to the initial location. The efficiency of the proposed method is simulated to show its effectiveness.

Green technology in construction 绿色建筑技术

This paper outlines the solutions for the energy efficient futuristic buildings. The implementation of latest technology in architecture and constructions will lead to better home with green standards. Buildings, accounting for 30–40 percent of global energy use, are known to be energy guzzlers. In India, buildings account for 30 percent of total energy consumption. The idea of green buildings promotes use of renewable energy, recyclable & recycled products, focus on efficient use of water, minimization of energy, improving occupational health and comfort. Green Buildings have few major areas which have potential to be tapped through appropriate usage in the design of the building by means of high thermal insulations. Rain harvesting, terrace gardening, extensive usage of CO2 sensors for better management of indoor air quality (IAQ), ventilation & Energy efficient EUROVENT & ARI certified air handling units which will lead to a perfect green building vision.

Surface ozone variability in the southern most semi-urban area, Nagercoil, India 印度Nagercoil最南部半城市地区的地表臭氧变率

Ozone is an important atmospheric constituent due to its role both as a green house gas and an oxidant. Interactions between ozone and climate naturally occur not only in the stratosphere, but also at the earth's surface (troposphere). This study aspires to access the amount of surface ozone concentration in and around Nagercoil ( 8°11′ N, 77°29′ E ). A portable Aeroqual series 200 Ozone monitor has been used for measuring purposes. Sampling was carried out at two sites influenced by same meteorological conditions during four seasons in the period of 2007–2008. The measurements showed a well marked diurnal cycle of surface ozone concentration which clearly follows the diurnal variation of surface temperature. Results of this study have revealed that the annual mean of daily average surface ozone concentration was 19.19 ± 3.21 ppb .The highest average seasonal concentration was determined in summer and lowest in north east monsoon for both the sites. A difference of 2.73 ppb was observed in the annual mean of daily average surface ozone concentration between the two sites. Statistical t-test in this study shows that this difference is only due to the difference in the levels of VOC and precursor gas emissions.
