Conventional cameras employed in fringe projection systems result in multiple measurements and limit depth acquisition to low dynamic range objects. We propose three-dimensional imagers employing a multichannel micropolarizer camera to deliver enhanced fringe visibility for high dynamic range objects and snapshot acquisition for fast moving objects

Inverse masking allows for scene-specific beam shaping based on discriminators within the initial image. Experimental work to detect an image, encode phase on a spatial modulator, and illuminate specific regions in a scene are performed.

We investigate the use of the Adaptive Feature Specific Spectral Imaging Classifier (AFSSI-C) architecture to perform spectral unmixing. Through simulations using a variety of static coding schemes, we demonstrate that the AFSSI-C outperforms traditional hyperspectral imaging.
