In Egypt, construction projects produce a large amount of waste that reaches 40-50 million tons per year. Most construction wastes are landfilled or illegally dumped, causing land and water contamination. Construction waste can greatly affect construction project performance, as it affects the construction costs, time, productivity, and sustainability. In this research, the key influencing factors for waste management were investigated using a survey of construction practitioners in Egypt, so the waste can be controlled and reduced effectively. The study con-cluded that selecting contractors with the best experience in construction works and the usage of proper materials for storage facilities can significantly reduce waste generation. In addition, the proper planning layout of construction projects, using materials before expiry dates, and early communication of design changes among all contracting parties are the key factors for waste minimization. A decision support system model, built on the relative importance from the analysis, is designed to support construction teams to improve construction and demolition waste reduction performance in construction sites.

A construction project's success depends on its planning, accurate cost estimating is critical in both public and private enterprises. Public building projects in Saudi Arabia have been plagued by enormous overruns and delays over the previous three decades due to poor construction performance. The purpose of the research is determining the most critical factors affecting the accuracy of Saudi Arabian public project construction cost estimates. A questionnaire survey was given to 100 participants at random,95 of whom were males and 5 of whom were women, in order to acquire data. Cost estimates for Saudi public building projects are affected by financial concerns, the bidding situation and project features, as well as the estimation technique. The results found that the main factor related to financial issues. And the most significant factors of financial issues, which affecting cost estimates are financial status of client market, the unstable economic situation, cost estimation accuracy, financial resource availability, punctuality of cost flow as well as the availability of high-quality financial plans and accurate estimation. Besides, the most significant factors of bidding situation, which affecting cost estimates are designer and design quality, com-pany's strength and reputation in the construction industry, and amount of experience on such projects. Furthermore, the most significant factors of project characteristics, which affecting cost estimates are project manager competence, owners' requirement, Project specification and requirement, as well as project duration. Finally, the most significant factors of estimating process, which affecting cost estimates are project team's experience, time allowed for preparing estimates and availability of cost indices.

The construction projects especially the megaprojects need durations for the implementation as be determined before from the planners and the management teams. Otherwise, The changes of events at the recent times such as international wars and COVID-19 and the subsequent in all needs and different requirements. It became very clear on all levels as the social levels, the economic and the culture levels. These changes play in shifting concept and style for all requirements. This duration not compatible with the international and local changes speed. This case makes the projects styles and its functions not suitable for the shifting in all direc-tions as society, technology and thought changes. It is effect directly on the investor’s requirements at their projects. The main goal of the study is the integration between the value and agile to draw a new allying framework. It will be as a roadmap for megaprojects to be able to modify its paths according to any shifting. The study will present the value engineering methodology starting from the definitions then the value job plan based on the SAVE international organization. Then, it will present the philosophy concept for agile approach. The research will analyze the principles of agile management and its foundations. It appears with different weights according to the relation between each phase of value engineering to every principle of agile. Finally, it finalizes the research by drawing conclusions from all parts of study. It also offers recommendations for the current states and further research concerning the same issue.
