In view of Chaos is such a complex nonlinear systems, we analyze the parameters of initial sensitivity and unpredictability, and use a universal adaptive controller based on adaptive control theory, combined with the stability of Lyaponov theory, making the system to eliminate chaos and asymptotic stability to the desired smooth orbit. Matlab simulation results have verified the efficiency of this control algorithm.

The location and tracking of the sound source is an important aspect in the speech communication and recognition. The method of source location and tracking based on the time delay is presented in this paper. According to the characteristic of noise, the FLOC (fractional lower order covariance) and CSP (cross-power spectrum phase) are selected to estimate the time delay, which can quickly determine and tracking the sound source location. The better result is acquired with the experiments.

A novel control strategy for three-phase combined inverters is proposed based on phase-locked loop (PLL) technology. Phase synchronous signal is easily disturbed in the process of signal transmission for conventional combined inverters with control-wire connection, which is solved by demodulation of a certain output voltage. The proposed concept is simple, and easy to implement. And good symmetrical three-phase output voltage could be achieved under unbalanced loads, even with inverters of different topologies and controllers combined together. It demonstrates almost the same high performance as that in stand-alone operation mode. Experimental results of 3.6-kVA three-phase combined inverter prototypes are presented to verify the validity and feasibility of this scheme.

Quantitative feedback theory (QFT) is an engineering design method with strong practical value in the field of robust control and it is aimed at the objects with parameters changes. This paper introduces the basic principles and the design process of QFT, and for parameter uncertainty of the robot joint control, this paper designs the feedback-controller and the pre-filter of the system based on QFT. MATLAB simulation results show that the method is with good robust performance and dynamic performance in the robot joint control, and meets the performance indicators.

With the rapid development of Web services, feature interactions have become one of the critical problems in Web services composition. This paper proposes a model checking method for detecting feature interactions in Web services composition. By the proposed method, the Web services descriptions written in WS-BPEL are translated into timed automata, and then we apply a well known model checking tool UPPAAL that supports this formalism to modeling Web services composition and analyzing feature interactions. We take a particular case study, an automatic stock trading system, as an example to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Evidence theory decision tree is an efficient classification technique can be used in uncertain data mining field. But it can’t deal with large training sets of millions of samples which are common in this field. This paper develops parallel algorithm for evidence theory decision tree on the multidimensional cube structure. Example shows this algorithm can treat with very large multidimensional uncertain data training set and shows good parallel performance.

The purpose of this paper is to study a fuzzy multiple attribute group decision making problem, where the attribute values are represented by trapezoidal fuzzy numbers, and the attribute weights are unknown completely, but each decision maker provides preference information on alternatives by the preference ordering. An assignment method is developed to solve this problem. Firstly, the contribution matrix of alternatives and the preference matrix of decision makers are created, then a quadratic programming is constructed to integrate the objective evaluations and the subjective preferences for determining the attribute weights. The ranking of alternatives or the best alternative(s) is obtained by constructing an assignment model to maximize the total contribution of alternatives. A numerical example is given to illustrate the proposed method.

The particle swarm optimization (PSO), which goes right after Ant Colony Algorithm, is another new swarm intelligence algorithm. PSO has the same drawbacks as other optimization algorithms in spite of its predominance in some fields. That is easily falling into local optimization solution and low convergence velocity in the final stage. An improved algorithm called acceleration factors self-adaptive PSO (ASAPSO) was proposed for the drawbacks. The constant acceleration coefficients in the standard PSO were changed into self-adaptive acceleration factors in the progress of evolution. By controlling the acceleration factors, the particles have stronger global search capability in the early stage and are less likely to be impacted by the current global optimum position and the particles fly to global optimum position more rapidly in the final stage, thus achieved enhanced the convergence velocity. From the numerous experimental results on 4 widely used benchmark functions, we can show that ASAPSO outperforms other three improved PSO.
